Welcome Home
Happy Saturday! The sun is out shining bright today! What a surprise. I really thought it was supposed to be kinda dreary all weekend. I am not complaining though!
This is a card I made for the Bi-Weekly challenge over at Paper Therapy. The challenge was to make a card that had a tree on it. This is what I came up with. Being a military family, we are very accustomed to the tie a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree motto. I had a lot of fun making this card and if you haven't checked out Paper Therapy yet, you should go over and take a look. They are a brand new card making forum with tons of ideas, challenges, virtual crops, prize give-a-ways, and a great group of friendly people! Thanks for taking the time to stop in and take a look! I appreciate it!
Supplies:

Happy Friday!!!! I hope the weather will be nice for the weekend where you live. It looks like it may be raining off and on and cold all weekend where I am. Perfect weather for crafting though!
Here is the next installment in the Wild Card Series. I kept them both really simple. The first card is #9-Birthday in the book. I used fit to page and it cut it out at 6 3/4".
The next card is #10-Joy card in the book. I used fit to page on this card also and it cut it out at 5 3/4".
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and take a look.

Happy Wednesday!!! Almost the weekend!!! Today's card was made for Mojo Monday Week 131. I had so much fun making a long card. I cut my cardstock 7 by 7 and then just folded in half. The size ended up being 3.5" by 7" which will fit into a regular business size envelope. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and take a look!

Hoot Hoot Hooray!
Hi and Happy Monday! I'm so sad to see the weekend pass by. We had such great weather and it looks like that is coming to an end this week. At least I got to enjoy some warm spring like weather for awhile. :) I was able to sit down at my desk last night and create this card for the sketch over at The Sweet Stop SSS48. The twist was Fuzzy Wuzzy. I used the Owl felt sticker from Basic Grey for my fuzzy part of the card. The inside reads "Hooray". I thought this would be a cute card to give to one of my daughter's friends for graduation. Thanks for taking the time to stop in and take a look! Have a great day!

Wild Card #7 and Wild Card #8
Happy Friday! Sorry I haven't posted anything in awhile. I have been so busy with everyday stuff, I haven't really had a chance to sit down and do much card making. I did make myself sit at my desk and make these 2 cards yesterday. It felt so nice to be creative!
The first card is #7 (trifold) in the booklet. I have found out a little secret when making this card. When I make these cards, I always press fit to page and then cut out my envelope first. Well, you can't do that when the card is a tri-fold. The tri-fold cards are bigger than the envelopes so if you do fit to page, whenever you are making a tri-fold card, cut the card out first. Everything for this card was cut at 5 1/4". I used a little dollar stamp from Michaels for the front of my card.
The second card is #8 (Oval) in the booklet. This card is just so dainty and pretty. I really like it. I cut out everything from the wild card cartridge at 6 1/4" and the butterfly was cut from Indie Art at 2". If your booklet is anything like mine, some of the images for this card are missing in the booklet. They are there though and when you press the buttons they will show up on your expression screen or you can check out the digital booklet on the cricut website.
Supplies Used:
Crayola Colored Pencils--To color the owl stamp image
Studio G Stamp--Owl
White Signo Pen--faux stitching and the owl's eyes
Stampin Up--Dimensionals (used on both cards)
Stampin Up--Chocolate Chip Classic Ink
DCWV--Pocket full of Posies Patterned Paper (oval card)
Stickles--Diamond and Grape (oval Card)
Cuttlebug--Swiss dots (butterfly)

Wild Card #5 and #6
Happy Friday! Looks like rain pretty much all weekend for me but I guess the upside of that is more crafty time! Here are the latest cards in my Wild Card Series. Hope you enjoy!
The first one is #5 (trifold) in the book. I cut everything out for this out at 6 3/4".
The second one is #6 (invite) in the book. I went a little different for this one. Instead of making an invitation, I made it into a gift card for a birthday. I have found that the self adhesive business card holders that you can buy at office supply stores are also the perfect size for gift cards. I have to say that I did not care for the envelope that matches this card at all. No matter what I did, the envelope just does not want to stay shut. I think in the future, I will just use a square envelope for this card. Everything for this card was cut at 4 1/4".
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and take a look! I appreciate it!
Supplies:
Trifold:
Patterned Paper--K & Co. (The best of K & Co. Stack)
Fiskars Border punch--Apron Lace
Stickles--Turquoise
Gift Card Holder (Invite):
Patterned Paper--DCWV (Sweet Cupcake Pink)
Avery Self Adhesive Business Card Holders
Stamp--Inkadinkado (Chelsea Sentiments)
Ribbon--Offray

Mojo Monday Week 128
Hi! Here is the card I made for the Mojo Monday Sketch Week 128. I really had a lot of fun with this sketch. I pulled out some paper that I haven't really used in a year (maybe more). I was so happy that I was able to put it to use instead of it just sitting there. I also was able to use my brand new Crystal Accents on the top of the cupcake. It makes it look so shiny, kinda like frosting. :) Thanks so much for taking the time to stop in and take a look!
