MPS Challenge

Hi Everyone! Happy Saturday! Below is the card that I made for the challenge over at My Pink Stamper. The challenge was to make a Father's Day Project. I decided to make a card for my Father-In-Law. I used my gypsy to cut out the "rivetsqr" on page 120 of the All Mixed Up cricut cartridge. I welded in DAD in the plaid paper and then cut out a piece of blue 1/4" bigger to go underneath the top layer. I then put some eyelets in the corners and popped up the greeting with some dimensionals.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and take a look. I appreciate it! Have a great weekend!

Stampin' Up--Kraft Cardstock & Dimensionals

Wild Card--Doily

Hi! For the next card in the Wild Card Series, I chose the Doily Card--#21 in the book.

I think I have said this before, but if not let me just say again how much I love this card. This has got to be my all-time fav card shape from this cartridge. I used fit to page and cut out everything at 5". I wanted to keep it really simple, and I think it turned out so pretty and elegant. I used some puffy pearl paint to accent the rose and the edge of the card and then tied a simple bow at the top. I didn't use a sentiment. I will either put a sentiment on it when an occasion comes up or leave it blank and use it as a note card for someone. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Wild Card Friday!

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! The next 2 cards in the Wild Card series are the Wave Card and the Pinwheel Card. I actually had a lot of fun making both of these cards. I hope you enjoy them!

The first one I am going to show you is my take on the Wave card, #19 in the book. When I was looking at the image of this card in the book, I kept coming up with Christmas card ideas. Instead of making the card AND envelope, I decided to make the card the envelope. I put some adhesive on the sides and the bottom of the folded card and then made a tag to go inside. I thought this would be so cute to go along with a platter of cookies for one of my neighbors. I used fit to page and cut out everything at 6 3/4". Tip: This is considered a tri-fold card, so if you decide to make both the card and envelope using the fit to page feature, make sure you cut the card out first to get a accurate dimension that they can both be cut at.

The second card today will be the Pinwheel card, #20 in the book. I have to say, I see so many possibilities with this card and the envelope is so cute! I ended up making mine a "Thinking of You" card. As you spin the pinwheel, there are Hello phrases in different fonts, when you open up the card, it says Thinking of You. I used fit to page and cut out everything at 6 1/2".

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by! I truly appreciate it!
