Happy Friday! The card I would like to share with you today, is an all white winter card. I love the nice clean look of this, especially with all that beautiful glitter.
My card was really easy to make. I made an A2 sized card and cut the top layer a little smaller and ran it through my cuttlebug with my Snowflakes embossing folder. I then went around each snowflake with my Zig 2 way glue pen and added touches of dazzling diamonds to make each snowflake sparkle. For my main snowflake, I cut that out of Accent Essentials Cricut cartridge at 1.75", added some dazzling diamonds and some pearls and popped it up with some foam adhesive. I don't know about you guys, but I am so ready for the holidays!! I will be using this card as one of my Christmas cards that I send out this year. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation. I really appreciate it!
Have a great crafty day!
Supplies:
Cricut: Accent Essentials
Cuttlebug: Snowflakes Embossing Folder
Card Stock: Georgia Pacific

Happy Wednesday! Are you guys ready for another great challenge from The Perfect Sentiment today? This week is all about Get Well cards. Create a card that reflects a sentiment of getting well. The twist? Include embossing, it doesn't matter if it is dry or heat embossing.
Here is the card that I made:

I ran my purple layer through my cuttlebug with the swiss dots embossing folder. My frame was cut out of the Lacy Labels Cricut Lite cartridge at 2.5". I then stamped my sentiment into the middle of the frame and popped the frame up with some foam adhesive.

Ok, onto my project. For my project, I decided to make a door sign to hang out on Halloween! This is my first time making a door sign and I am really pleased with how it came out.
Here is a picture of the door sign:
and a closeup of some of the detail:
Cute huh? This is how I made it. I took took pieces of 8.5" by 11" pieces of chipboard and glued them together to make it really sturdy. Then I started decorating the front. I took a piece of white card stock and attached it to the chipboard and sprayed it with some Raven glimmer mist. I cute my witch's hat out of Mini Monsters Cricut Cartridge at 6.25". Once I had my hat cut out, I free hand cut a shape to resemble a witch's head peeking up from the bottom of the sign. Her eyes are hand drawn. Not my best but it gets the point across haha! For my Spider, I cut him out of Doodlecharms at 3". I added some googly eyes and some doodling for a little interest. My "Boo" was cut out of Don Juan At 2.5". After I had everything cut out and attached to the front of the sign, I added some eyelets and threaded my ribbon through for the hanger. I then flipped it over and added some Black Crepe Streamers, to give it the look of some ruffled ribbon. It was so simple to make but I absolutely love it!
What's a Halloween Blog Hop without a little candy? I am offering the following to one random follower of my blog:

A Fall Birthday
Happy Thursday! Today I wanted to share with you a card I made for the challenge this week over at Birthday Sundaes. The challenge is to make a birthday card using fall colors and to include birthday wording on your card front. Here is what I made for the challenge:
When I first read what the challenge was, I have to admit, I was stumped! I started going through some of my paper and found this patterned paper with the leaves and the card just took off from that point. I wish I could tell you who makes the patterned paper but I have no clue. I got it on clearance from my LSS a few months back and their is no name printed on it anywhere. For my card, I completely built everything on the cream layer and then popped it up on the card base with foam adhesive. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and look at my latest creation. I really appreciate it! Have a great crafty day!
Supplies:
Card Stock: Kraft (Recollections), Cream (Bazzill)
Patterned Paper: Unknown
Stamps: Trendy Trees (SU!) & Girft Card Sentiments (My Creative Time)
Ink: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip (SU!)
Punches: Corner Rounder (EK Success), Xtra Lrg Photo Corners (SU!), Scallop Sentiment (Fiskars)
Misc.: Hemp Cord, Brown Sharpie, Button

Trendy Twine Guest Designer
Happy Monday! Did you guys have a good weekend? I hope so. I am so excited that I get to be a guest designer for Trendy Twine! If you haven't used Trendy Twine yet, you really should. This twine is so pretty! It's pretty awesome stuff! I got to play with the new Orange Truffle color for my project and I am in love! This Orange Truffle twine is perfect for all those fall projects that you may have. For my project, I decided to make an altered jar filled with some candy corn and a little note card to go with it.
I really love how my project turned out and I really think the twine pulled it all together. It was super simple to make also. I just took a frappachino jar and cleaned it really well and removed the labels. From there I made a belly band to go around my jar and attached it with some really strong adhesive, I used Scor Tape adhesive for my project. I also used some scor tape around the rim of the lid and just wrapped the twine around multiple times to cover the rim. My note card is a 3 by 3.
Be sure to check out the Trendy Twine Blog, they have a challenge going on right now and you could win some of this fabulous Orange Truffle twine.
You can also check out the Trendy Twine Store to see all the other colors they have as well.

The Perfect Sentiment Challenge #1 (PSC01)
Happy Wednesday! I hope you are all doing well. I am so happy to announce that today marks the launch of The Perfect Sentiment challenge blog! Do you ever tend to make mainly birthday cards? Thinking of you cards? I know I do, that's why I love the Perfect Sentiment challenge blog. Every week you will be given a theme to make a card for. That way you can build up your supply and always have the perfect card on hand, whatever the occasion. This week is about sympathy cards. The challenge is to make a sympathy card and to use lace on your card.
Here is what I created:
Sympathy cards are so hard for me to make. I think it's because no one ever wants to think about making one. For my card, I used a digi image from Glitterbabe and framed it with some lace. I added some ribbon to my card base and then popped my frame up with some foam adhesive. I added some glossy accents after I colored just to give it a little shine and added some pearls in each corner. I wanted to keep my card fairly simple, yet elegant.
This week The Perfect Sentiment challenge blog, is very lucky to have a great sponsor! Stef from Glitterbabe Digi's is sponsoring the challenge and will be giving away a $10 gift card to her store for one lucky winner! Pretty cool huh? So, make sure you head over to The Perfect Sentiment Challenge Blog to enter the challenge! You have until Sunday Oct. 9, 2011 (10pm EST) to link up your creation. I look forward to seeing what you create. :)

Tacky Tuesday Challenge #11
Happy Tuesday! You ready for another awesome challenge this month from Tacky Tuesday? The cut for this month is an "OWL" and you must use the word "Hoo" somewhere in your sentiment. Here is what I created:
I used the embossed gift card holder from My Creative Time and made a little gift card holder for a graduation gift. My owl was cut from the Just Because Cards cricut cartridge at 6". I added a little grad cap to him from some Reminisce stickers. My "Hoo-Ray" alphas are from Echo Park. This was such an easy gift card to put together and I think that little owl is too cute!
Ruthie is giving away a super cute Peachy Keen stamp set to this month's winner. All you have to do is make a card with an Owl die cut and the word Hoo and upload it to the Tacky Tuesday's Facebook page by October 17 for your chance to win. I can't wait to see what you create! I hope you have a great crafty day!

Patterned Paper: Echo Park
Misc.: Alphas (Echo Park), White Signo Gel Pen, Brown Sharpie, Reminisce stickers, Orange Sharpie, Offray Ribbon, Embossed Gift Card Holder (My Creative Time)
