The Perfect Sentiment Challenge #11 (PSC11)

Happy Wednesday! Are you guys ready for another great challenge week over at The Perfect Sentiment? This week is a sketch challenge. The challenge: Create a card that reflects a sentiment for Thank You. The twist: Use the following sketch for your inspiration.

Here is the sketch:

Here is the card that I created for the challenge:

For my card, I used the Create A Critter cricut cartridge to cut out my little lamb at 2.5". I used some Trendy Twine for her little bows and for the little knots in the buttons and my sentiment came from the Lots of Pun Joy's Life Stamp Set. The Paper is from Making memories. The sketch really made this card super simple to make and I think it is adorable. I love that little lamb, but then again, I love Create A Critter hehe. All of the animals are too cute!

This week The Perfect Sentiment is being sponsored by Pattie's Creations Digital Stamps, so make sure you stop by The Perfect Sentiment Challenge Blog to learn all the details of what the prize is this week as well as entering the challenge. I look forward to seeing what you create!

Happy Wednesday my crafty friends! I hope you are all having a great day! I am so happy that today I get to post another challenge for the Joy's Life DT. The challenge this week was to create a 3-D project. I decided to decorate a little kraft gable box and fill it with some candy. Perfect for a little gift :)

Cute huh? I found these cute little gable boxes and thought, how perfect they are for a quick little gift for someone. I used my traditional eyelet border punch to create a decorative border all the way around the box. I then stamped my sentiment, using the All Around Sentiments from Joy's Life Stamps, onto some white card stock and then used my scallop circle nestabilities. I added some red stickles onto my scallop circle to give it a little sparkle. The finishing touch was a red polka dot bow.

Here is a close-up of my sentiment:

I love red and craft together! It's one of my favorite color combos. :) Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation. Don't forget to stop by the Joy's Life DT page to see more inspiration. I hope you have a great crafty day

Tacky Tuesday Challenge #13

For my Trendy Twine Give A Way, click HERE

Happy Tuesday! Today marks the start of a new Tacky Tuesday challenge. The challenge for this month is to use a "snowman" die cut and the word "melt" in your sentiment. Here is what I created for the challenge:

I decided to make my hubby a little Christmas card from me to him. I cut my snowman out of Christmas Cheer at 3". I added a decorative border using my EK success punch. I added a little heart to the snowman. So cute! The sentiment was printed from my computer and just printed onto red card stock.

I hope you will go over to the Tacky Tuesday Facebook Page and join in the challenge with us. You have 2 weeks to submit a project for the challenge. I look forward to seeing what you create!

Have a great crafty day!

Holiday Cards Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! Welcome to the Holiday Cards Blog Hop! I'm sure you are going to find tons of inspiration for those Holiday cards that you need to do and if you have already done them, maybe an idea or two to tuck away for next year ;)

You should have arrived here from the talented Melisa. If you just happened to stumble across the hop today on my blog and would like to start at the beginning, just hop on over and see Joy at Joy's Life.

For my project, I knew I wanted to use the Happy Holly Days stamp from Joy's Wintery Puns stamp set as soon as I saw it. I pretty much based my card around that stamp.

I decided to make an center step card for my project today. I cut my holly out of the Christmas Cheer cricut cart at 3.5". I popped it up on some foam adhesive to give it more dimension. I added some glitter and bling to make it sparkle and shine.

Here is a look at the inside of the card:

The Merry Christmas stamp also came from the Wintery Puns stamp set. Cute huh? I love the Wintery Puns set! It is absolutely adorable!

What's a blog hop without a little candy? I'm going to give one lucky person the following pack of stickles:

All you have to do to be eligible for my prize is to post a comment on this post.

You don't have to be a follower, but if you are, leave a second comment to give yourself a second chance at winning.

Peace, Hope, Joy

Happy Thursday! Today I wanted to share with you a card that I made to play along with the challenge over at Papertake Weekly. This week they are having a sketch challenge and as soon as I saw the sketch, I knew it would be great for a little Christmas card. Here is what I created for the challenge:

I cut my little stocking out of my cricut at 2.5" using my Christmas Cheer cartridge. For my little tab, I stamped my sentiment and then used my Labels 4 spellbinders and only cut out a small portion so that I could make the little tab. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation! I really do appreciate it! Don't forget to stop by tomorrow for the Holiday Cards Blog Hop hosted by Joy at Joy's Life. :) Hope you will hop with us.

I hope you have a great crafty day!
