You Rock!

Hello and happy Thursday!
Today I get to show you another fun little project using those super cute Joy's Life Stamps.

This week we are showing you some super cute music themed projects.

I decided to make a Itunes gift card holder.

I wanted my gift card holder to also act as the card so I made it into a 4x4 card that opens up to reveal the gift card.

My sentiment came from the Father & Son stamp set from Joy's Life.

If you would like for me to make a little tutorial on how to make this type of gift card holder, just leave me a comment and I will do my best to make one.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation. I really appreciate it! Don't forget to stop by the Joy's Life DT Blog to see some great inspiration from the DT.

Happy Graduation!

Happy Friday!
Today I get to show you a fun little project using those fabulous Joy's Life Stamps!
This week the design team is showcasing projects that center around graduation. My "baby" is graduating from high school this year so this project was bittersweet for me. I'm so proud of him but I also wish I could turn back the clock and make him little again.

I decided to make a banner for his graduation party.

I cut all my banner pieces out of the Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge at 5.5" each.
The font came from the Pooh Font Set Cricut cartridge. I cut each letter with it's shadow at 3.5"

On each of the ends, I decided to put little grad caps on action wobbles
The caps came from the Locker Talk Cricut cartridge and were cut out at 2.5".

For the middle, I just used some dimensional fabric stickers from Jolee's Boutique

Underneath each of the grad caps on each end, I stamped the sentiment "Happy Graduation" from the Everyday Occasion stamp set from Joy's Life

Thanks for stopping by my blog today and looking at my latest creation! I really appreciate it! Don't forget to stop by the Joy's Life Design Team blog for some great inspiration for all your graduation projects!

Happy Tuesday!
Are you guys ready for another fun challenge over at Krafty Girls?
This week its all about being a Kopy Kat!
Create a paper craft that is "scraplifted" from someone else that inspires you.
Make sure you give them credit though :)

I decided to scraplift a beautiful card from my bestie, Kimberly of Kimberly's Crafty Spot.

Here is her card:
Thanks for the inspiration Kimberly! Your card is gorgeous!
You can see more details about her card on her blog post HERE

And here is the card that I created based on her card:

It's A Party Blog Hop!

Happy Saturday!
Are you guys ready to hop and get some inspiration for some party decor ideas?

If you came here from Sarabeth of Chronicles of Sarita, then you are on the right track.
If you just happened to stumble across the hop today on my blog and would like to start at the beginning, hop on over and see Joy of Joy's Life.

For my project, I decided to do a movie night theme. When my daughter and her friends start coming home from college for the summer, they like to get together and have a slumber party and watch movies and just catch up. There is way more chatter than actually watching the movies but that's ok :) I thought it would be cute to make a few little things for the movie.

First up are the popcorn containers:
I cut my container out of the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cricut cartridge at 6.5". I then doodled along the top scallop and added my ticket on some foam adhesive. The tickets came from the Locker Talk Cricut cartridge and were cut out at 1.5"

I also made some little candy treat bags to go along with the popcorn.
For my candy bags, I put 6 little fun size candy bars into a treat sack and then added a cute little topper.

Here is a picture of everything together:

What's a blog hop without a little candy for you as well?
I'm going to pick one lucky winner to receive this awesome little mat stack from DCWV:

All you have to do for your chance to win is:
1. Be a follower of my blog
&
2. Post a comment on this post

I will pick a winner using Random.org on Friday, May 25, 2012
Make sure you leave a way for me to contact you in case you win.

A Little Something Yummy!

Happy Friday!

Today I get the pleasure of showing you another fun little project using those super cute Joy's Life Stamps! This week, the design team was asked to make projects that were sweet and glittery. I decided to make a little tin filled with some chocolates for my project.

Here is the tin:

and the tin opened:

I wrapped each chocolate with a piece of patterned paper and alternated them inside the tin. Then I made a belly band to slide off of the tin to make it easier to open and close. My label was cut from the Sweet Shop Cricut Lite Cartridge at 2.5". The little piece of candy was also cut from the same cartridge but at 2".

Look how great that sentiment goes with all your sweet projects:

Don't forget to head over to the Joy's Life DT Blog to see more sugary sweet projects for this week and don't forget about the It's A Party Blog Hop that starts tomorrow at Joy's Life! Hope to see you there!

Trendy Twine Tuesday featuring Grape Fizz

Hi Everyone!

You guys ready for another great Trendy Twine Tuesday?

This month the design team is showing you projects made with the

I love this Grape Fizz twine! The purples in it are absolutely gorgeous!

For my project, I decided to make a dry erase board for my crafty space.
I took one of the clear dollar frames and decorated some card stock to slide into the frame.
I left the center white, so that I could easily see whatever notes I put on there.

The twine adds that perfect touch without overdoing it.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I really appreciate it!
Don't forget about the monthly challenge going on over at the Trendy Twine blog!
There is still plenty of time to enter and I would love to see what you create :)

Wishing You A Bright and Happy Day

Happy Saturday!
Today I get to show you a super cute project that I made for the Joy's Life DT.

This week on the Joy's Life DT blog, the design team is showing projects that incorporate flowers in some way. I decided to make a little lollipop flower bouquet for my project.

Here is a view from the top:

I got the cute little watering can from the dollar store. For my "flowers", I bought some Tootsie Pop suckers and cut out some flowers and leaves from the Bloom Cricut Lite Cartridge. I layered 2 flowers on top of each other and then punched a hole in the center of them for my lollipop stick to slide through. After all the flowers were arranged in the watering can, I then attached the leaves using some glue dots.

I wanted to make a little card to go along with the watering can to complete the project. My card measures 3.5"x3.5". I rounded the corners and then added the front of the card using some foam adhesive to give it a little dimension. My sentiment came from the Tag You're It--Set One stamp set from Joy's Life.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation! I really appreciate it. Don't forget to stop by the Joy's Life DT Blog, to see more inspiration using flowers.
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Trendy Twine Tuesday with Grape Fizz

Happy Tuesday!
Are you guys ready for another great month of
fabulous inspiration for all your twine?

This month Trendy Twine is showing you awesome projects showcasing the fantastic Grape Fizz Twine. I absolutely love this twine! What's not to love about it, I mean it's purple!

For our group project, we are bringing you projects that may inspire you
for the upcoming Mother's Day.
I decided to make a K-Cup caddy.

How cute is that? I found this great tutorial for the caddy on a site named The Cat's Pajama's. You can find the tutorial HERE.

I love how the purple and white goes so well with the kraft. I think the twine gives the project
that extra cuteness factor. :)

Don't forget to head over to the Trendy Twine blog to see more inspiration from the Design Team as well as entering the monthly challenge. You could win some of this fabulous twine! I look forward to seeing what you create :)
