Happy Friday!!

As with everything, all good things must come to an end. I'm sad to say that today is my last post as a designer for My Creative Time. I would like to take a minute and say Thank You Emma for the amazing opportunity of being able to be on your team! It was a dream and a honor! Hugs sweet lady!!

Here is the card that I created:

I created a shaped card by using the Scallop Stitched Oval Dies. I also used some of the ovals from the same set for my card layers. That cute little pocket and flowers came from the Fun Pockets set. I then stamped that greeting from the Window Sentiments & Flowers set onto the label from the Vintage Stitched Label Die. I finished off my card by adding some Wink Of Stella to my flower centers, some white doodles with my gel pen and some pearls around the base of my card.

Wanna build a snowman?

Happy Wednesday!!

I hope you are all having a fabulous week so far!

Today I have a fun little card to show you that I created using one of those sweet little bears from the Fun In The Snow collection from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

For my card, I used that fun sawtooth card front from a file that I found in the Silhouette Store. I then added a bit of dimension by adding some liquid applique to the center of the snowflakes as well as the snowy hill and then heat setting it so that it would puff up. For my polar bear, I added a cute little face from Peachy Keen and some stitched lines with a white gel pen to her scarf as well as to the snowman's scarf. My sentiment came from My Creative Time and I thought it went perfectly with the little scene that I created.

I will be linking up my project to the challenge going on over at

Candy Box Cover

Happy Thursday!

Today I have a cute and simple little project to show you that would be great for a small little gift.

I decided to make a little cover for one of those small packages of store bought chocolates. To create my cover, I cut a piece of cardstock to 3 1/8" by 11". I then scored at 4 7/8" and 6 1/8". Then you simply just fold up on the score lines and punch out some holes at the top to thread your ribbon through. To decorate my box front, I cut out my layers and then added that adorable little penguin from the Winter Friends set from KaDoodle Bug Designs. I added a cute little face from Peachy Keen and added some cheeks with some chalk. I also added just a bit of sparkle by using my wink of stella clear glitter pen on her ear muffs, her scarf and her eyeshadow. I finished her with a few accents with my white gel pen and then popped her up with with some adhesive. I added a few sequins and tied some twine through the top to keep my cover closed.

I will be entering my box into the challenge over at
(non traditional Christmas, no red or green)

My Creative Time: Tag It Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday!!
Today over at the My Creative Time blog, it is Tag It Tuesday!

With Christmas right around the corner, I decided to make some Christmas tags.

For my tag bases, I used the label from the Vintage Stitched Label Dies. I then cut out the scallop and circle from the Scallop & Stitched Circle Dies. I used the All Around Holidays to stamp my greeting and to also cut out that cute little gift and tree. I added a few sequins to each tag and then threaded some twine through the top and tied a little bow at the top.

I thought it would be super cute to build this snowman from the Christmas Open House from SVG Cuts and fill it with some candy for a fun little Christmas gift.

It was so easy to put together and it went together fairly quickly. I added some enamel dots for his eyes and buttons and some black bling for his mouth. I also tied some threads together to act as his little scarf. For his hat, I used some gold metallic cardstock for his hat band and then added just a bit of holly leaves with some red bling for the berries.

Gingerbread Box

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a great weekend!
Today I would like to share with you a fun little box that I made that features that adorable little gingerbread from the Christmas Cup Gingers from KaDoodle Bug Designs.

My box came from the Silhouete Store (design id #69223).  I then cut out that adorable little gingerbread man from the Christmas Cup Gingers and placed him on the front of my box with some foam adhesive to give a little dimension. I added some liquid applique to his hat and then heat set it so it would fluff up. I also added it to his icing, but I let that dry on it's own so that it dried with a nice shine to it. I added some wink of stella to his bow and buttons. For his cute little face, I used the Erkle & Merkle face assortment from Peachy Keen Stamps. To finish off my box, I added some enamel dots to the front and some twine bows to the sides. I think this box would be super cute filled with some little treats to give as a gift.

I am entering my box into the following challenges:

For my project today, I decided to make some holders for some little hand sanitizer bottles for some cute little gifts.

I cut my holder out using a file that I found in the Silhouette Store. Once they were cut out, I went to work decorating it with some awesome My Creative Time goodies. I cut out my tags using the Just Tags set and stamped a greeting from the Mixed Holiday Sentiments set.  Those cute little mittens came from the Winter Cheer set and I added a little bit of liquid applique and heat set it so that it would puff up for a fuzzy appearance.

Here is a picture showing you one of the holders opened:

Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a cute little card to show you that I made for a couple of challenges using that sweet

I used the Scallop Stitched Oval Dies from MCT to create my shaped card base.  I then added another oval from the same set for my main card layer. I stamped my greeting using the Boughs Of Holly stamp set from MCT at the top and added a few holly leaves and berries, also from that set. I then started building that adorable little Holly the Elf from KaDoodle Bug. She was so incredibly easy to put together and I think she is absolutely darling!! For her face, I used one of the faces from the Christmas In July Face Assortment from Peachy Keen. To finish off my card, I added a double loop twine bow at the top.

For my project today, I thought it would be cute to make a little gift bag and fill it up with some candy for a quick little gift.

I created a 2-5-7-10 box. You can find the tutorial for this type of box HERE.  I used one of the scallop edges from the Fun Stitched Edges for my box flap.  I then cut out a circle from the Bunch Of Fun Circle Dies and popped up that cute little deer from the Oh Deer set. I cut out the "BELIEVE" from the Boughs Of Holly four times and layered them on top of each other so that it was thick and then dipped it into some glitter to give it some shine. I finished off the bag with some red and white sequins and tied it closed with some white and silver twine. Super fast and super cute!!

I decided to take the Treat Slider Box and make a really easy gift that would be great to mass produce. These could be easily done for classroom treats, teacher gifts, your mail person, neighbors, etc. I personally think these would also be great to slip inside of a stocking, I mean even Santa needs a little help right? :)

I cut my Treat Slider Box out using some red plaid paper for the top and green plaid paper for the bottom tray.  I stamped my greeting from the Mixed Holiday Sentiments onto one of the squares from the Square Stitched Goody Dies and heat embossed it using some gold embossing powder. I added some holly leaves from the Boughs Of Holly set and added a few pearls for the holly berries. I wrapped some white and gold twine around the box and added a few gold sequins to finish off my box.

Inside, I wrapped some chocolate nuggets using one of the dies from the Treat Slider Box with some holly cardstock.
