Day 3 of the Sneak Peeks for MCT's 34th Release

Happy Wednesday!!
Welcome to Day 3 of the My Creative Time's 34th edition sneak peeks!
I'm so glad you stopped by!

Today we are giving you sneaky peeks of 2 new sets called:

I decided to mix some of the new with some of the old to make this super cute little shaker card:

For my card, I used the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies to create the window for my shaker as well as the frame around my window. I then used the light bulb from the You're Brilliant set and popped it up with some foam adhesive onto my window. I created my sentiment by using one of the alpha sets in the NEW Alpha Pack and stamped it onto one of the banners from the NEW Trio Stitched Banners

I love those little banners not to mention the fonts in the Alpha Pack!!

Are you guys ready for day 2 of the sneak peeks from My Creative Time's 34th release?

Today we are giving you sneak peeks of 3 new sets called

Here is the card that I made that incorporates all of these new sets:

Aren't those Stitched Decorative Banners in the top left corner of my card darling? I can see myself using these a lot!! For my stripes, I stamped one of the patterns from the Geo Borders set with some VersaMark ink onto a strip of turquoise cardstock and then heat embossed it with some white embossing powder. Don't you just love that new sentiment stamp called Dream Bigger? I love it!! I finished off my card with some faux stitching and a few randomly placed enamel dots.

MCT 34th Edition Sneak Peeks Day 1

Happy Monday!!
Welcome to Day 1 of the My Creative Time sneak peeks for July!
I'm so glad you stopped by to see the sneaks!
Emma has really outdone herself with this release and you are not going to want to miss one single day!

For my project, I am giving you a sneak peek of one of the new background sets called

With school starting soon, I decided to make a fun little paper bag purse to fill with some fun little treats (candy, post it's, pencils, etc.).

Instead of using patterned paper, I decided to make my own by using the fun new background stamp called, Fun Letter Background. I love how this background stamp has a distressed look to it!! I also used the banner from the Vintage Stitched Label Dies to put my greeting on. The greeting came from the Gift Card Sentiments set. I also used the Scallop & Stitched Circle Dies as well as the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies for my closure. That cute little apple came from the Classmate Valentines set (I simply fussy cut it out and popped it up with some foam adhesive). The bag is held closed with a velcro dot.

MCT Designer Challenge

Hi crafty friends & happy Thursday!!

Today starts a new challenge over at the My Creative Time blog!
For this challenge, we are using the following color palette for our inspiration.

Here is the card that I made based on those colors:

For my card I used the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die and popped it up onto my card front using some foam adhesive. I cut out my Hello from the Speech Bubble Sentiments from some dark pink cardstock. I then used the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies to cut out some flowers from the same dark pink cardstock as well as some peach cardstock. I also used two different greens for my leaves.

Don't forget to stop  by the My Creative Time blog to see all the fabulous projects that my design team sisters created and enter the challenge! I would love to see what you create!

5)  Have fun & Follow us at PDELinkyParty!

Here is the card that I created for this Linky Party:

For my card, I used a card base that I found in the Silhouette Store titled, 3D Stand Up Card: Birthday Balloons by Lori Whitlock (Design ID 57239). I used a total of 8 patterned papers on my card!! The best part is most of them were scraps!! I finished off the balloons by adding some little bows that I tied from some embroidery floss. I added a few gems and a sentiment and Voila! A cute little card that literally took minutes to make :)

Here is a side view:

The best part is that the fold at the bottom allows the card to fold flat for easy mailing :)
Gotta love that!!

My Creative Time: Scrapping The Little Things

Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!!

Today at the My Creative Time blog, it is Scrapping The Little Things.
This is the day that we create a scrapbook page, smash book page or a project life page.
Today we are showing you layouts based on the following sketch:

I am just getting into Project Life (PL) and as soon as I saw the above sketch, a insert for my PL album came to mind.

For my PL card, I used the Stitched 4x6 Journal die for my base. Then I started building the top portion of my card. I cut out a square from black cardstock and another from the yellow patterned paper and layered them on top of each other. I then used one of the circles from the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies for my floral circle. I stamped my title onto some white cardstock using a stamp from the Way To Go set and just cut the ends to resemble a banner. I layered that onto a piece of  patterned paper and then very carefully, hand cut it out so that it lined up with the white cardstock.  For the bottom half of my PL card, I used that adorable little bike from the Way To Go set. I love that little bike!!

Thanks so much for stopping my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!
I appreciate it so much!!

My Creative Time: Try Me Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday!
Today over at the My Creative Blog, it is Try Me Tuesday!
Today we are showing you cards that are made in the "slide puzzle" design.
You know those puzzles with the sliding pieces and the picture is all jumbled up until you figure out the puzzle by sliding the pieces into the correct spots? That's the look that this technique brings to your cards.
You can see a video on this technique by clicking HERE.

Here is the card that I created using this technique:

For my flowers, I used the flower stamp from the Fun Pockets set and randomly stamped that onto some white cardstock with VersaMark and then heat embossed it with some clear embossing powder. After it was embossed, I took some ink and rubbed it all over my card. I took a paper towel and wiped over the top of my card once I had inked it to reveal my flowers.  Once I had all my pieces cut and adhered to my card front, I cut out my frame and stamped the border by using the Fancy Frame Stamp & Die Set. My greeting came from the More Of My Favorite Sayings stamp set. I popped it up with some foam adhesive and added a few green gems. I love trying new techniques and I am so happy with the end result of my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!

My Creative Time's Inspiration Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday crafty friends!

It is Inspiration Wednesday over at the My Creative Time blog!
This is the day where we create a project based on something that has inspired us.

For my card today, I was inspired by my super talented DT sister, Miss Lee-Ann!
When I saw her card that she made for the Day 1 of the June Sneak Peeks, I fell in love with it!
I loved how she did the partial die-cutting and I loved the overall design of the card!
You can see her card by clicking HERE

Here is the card that I created:

For my card, I used the "Hello"and the "Beautiful"  from the Speech Bubble Sentiments set. I added that fun scallop edge by using one of the dies from the Fun Stitched Edges set. Those super pretty butterflies came from the Pretty Butterflies & Dragonfly Dies set. I added a bit of sparkle to my butterflies by using my Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush pen as well as some bling down the middle of each butterfly.

A huge THANK YOU to Lee-Ann for allowing me to use her beautiful card for my inspiration project!

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look at my latest creation!

I love to read so I decided that it would be fun to make myself a little bookmark out of a tag!!
I thought that little typewriter and sentiment from My Creative Time was so perfect for a bookmark!
The flowers and butterfly were fussy cut from the paper stack that I used. I love the soft muted colors of that paper! I also added a bit of glitter using my Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush pen for just a touch of sparkle.

Silhouette Challenge #15 "Print N Cut"

Happy Tuesday!!
It's that time for another great challenge over at

Ch# 15 Print N Cut
Begins: Tuesday, July 1
Ends: Thursday, July 31

A blog dedicated to the Silhouette Cutting Machines.
You MUST use a Silhouette somehow in your project.

Sponsor this month is:

Silhouette Printable Cotton Canvas

Here is the card that I created for the challenge:

As soon as I saw this cute little Sailor Bear in the Silhouette store, I knew I had to have him so that I could put him onto a card. After I had him printed and cut out, I added a few little freckles to his cheeks and some doodling to his life preserver and his foot using a white gel pen. I also added a little bit of shimmer to the preserver using my Wink Of Stella Brush pen. For my blue circle, I used a die from My Creative Time. The fun border under my patterned paper, my sentiment and the banner are also from My Creative Time. I finished off my card by adding some red grosgrain ribbon and another little bow made using some white DMC floss. I love the print and cut feature! It makes projects so much easier, especially for me since coloring is not my strong suit lol!

Sweet Birthday Bear Card

Hi everyone!
Happy Fourth of July!!

Today I would like to share with you a sweet little birthday card that I made using one of the bears in the Summer Sweetness Bears set by KaDoodle Bug Designs

Isn't she adorable!

I thought she would make a cute little birthday card since she is holding that ice cream cone. I love having birthday cards on hand and my stash is running a little low so I was happy to have another one to add. That sentiment from the More Of My Favorite Sayings stamp set from My Creative Time went so perfectly with her!

I will be entering my card into the challenge over at Seize The Birthday
(I didn't do the toppings option)

You Are My Anchor

For my Thrifty Thursday post for My Creative Time, please click HERE

Happy Thursday!
I just wanted to stop in real quick and show you all a card that I made using one of the cute little images in the Let's Go Sailing set by Too Cute By Jessica

I made a center step card for my base. I then added that cutie patootie little sailor girl and stamped her face using one of the faces from the PK-1357 Sweet On You Face Assortment. The anchor comes from the Anchors & Heart Dies from My Creative Time and the sentiment is from the Hey Sailor stamp set, also from My Creative Time. I added some cute little anchor ribbon and some buttons on the side of my card.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges:

Thrifty Thursday with My Creative Time

Hi crafty friends & happy Thursday!
Today over at the My Creative Time blog, it is
Thrifty Thursday!
This is the day where we show you projects made with scraps, leftovers or recycled items.

For my project, I decided to make some festive little lollipop holders for the 4th!

Wouldn't these look cute for a table decor for those 4th of July cookouts/picnics?
All of the cardstock and patterned papers were from my scraps! Yay!!
I used the Stitched Lollipop Holder die, the Scallop & Stitched Circle Die and the small circle from the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies. The star and sentiment both came from the All Around Holidays set. I added a little bit of curling ribbon to the lollipop sticks and voila! Easy project that can easily be mass produced and a great way to use of some of those scraps!!

I am also linking up my project for the challenge over at
Shopping Our Stash: SOS158 Red, White & Blue
