Happy Saturday!!

I hope your weekend is off to a great start so far!
Today I have another project to show you that features one of the new sets from

For this project, I used a stamp from the new set titled:

I found this sweet little candy tube holder in the SVGCutting Files store and knew it would be perfect for this awesome little sentiment from the new Food For Thought stamp set from Scrappy Moms. This will be given to my hubby as he loves candy and encourages me to make as many projects with candy that I can lol!

Such a cute sentiment!

Scrappy Moms February Release!!

Happy Friday!!!

Today Scrappy Moms Stamps is releasing two new stamp sets!
Woot Woot!!

Here is the first card that I created for this release using a new stamp set called:

As soon as I saw this little owl from Miss Kate's Cuttable, I knew I wanted to use him for this release. I decided to make a shaped card by using some dies from My Creative Time. Once I had my card base and layer put together, I simply added that cute little owl holding his little glasses and paired it up with this awesome greeting from the new Smitten set from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I finished off my card with some white doodling along the perimeter of the card and on the owl and then I added a twine bow to the top.

Here is a look at both of the sets that are being released today:

Aren't they both so great??

Bitten By The Bug 2 -- Clock Challenge

Happy Monday!

Are you guys ready for another fun challenge that starts today over at

This weeks challenge is all about Clocks!
Let see some projects that feature a clock from one of your cricut cartridges :)

Here is the card that I made for the challenge:

I know Valentine's Day is over but I love making lovey dovey cards for my hubby to find throughout the entire year. When I saw this super cute little cuckoo clock image along with that fun little sentiment, I knew this would be the perfect image to make my hubby a card. The cuckoo clock image came from the Valentine's Sentiments Digital Cricut Cartridge. I also used some dies from My Creative Time and a Martha Stewart border punch. I finished off my card with some faux stitching with my white gel pen as well as some glossy accents on the heart and beak.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!

Terrific Tuesday Challenge--Birds of a Feather

Happy Tuesday!

Are you all ready for a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at the Scrappy Moms blog?

Photobucket

The theme for this Terrific Tuesday Challenge is:
Birds Of A Feather

For my project, I created a fun little friendship card.

I just love that little birdie sitting on top of the cat's head :) I cut him out of the Meow Cricut Cartridge. I added a sweet little face to my cat using the Here Kitty Face Assortment stamps from Peachy Keen. I added a little bow to my cat and fussy cut a flower out of the patterned paper for my bird. I finished it off with some white doodles and popped it up with some foam adhesive. I thought that greeting from the For The Birds stamp set from Scrappy Moms was perfect for my card.

Here is a look at the entire For The Birds set:

Bitten By The Bug 2--Shaped Card

Happy Monday!!

Today is my very first post as a DT member for Bitten By The Bug 2!!
I'm so excited to be a part of the team!

This week's challenge is Shaped Cards!

Here is what I made for the challenge:

For my card, I wanted to use this scalloped oval from the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge to create my card base. I welded two of the shadows together and then cut out one more shadow and placed onto the front to hide the fold of the card. I then layered my scallop oval pieces onto the front. That cute little lamb is from the Create A Critter cartridge (one of my all time favorites!). I added a sweet little face to her using some Peachy Keen stamps and some chalk to her cheeks as well as some cute little twine bows in her hair. I added a bow to the top of my card using some dies from My Creative Time and that fun little sentiment from Scrappy Moms. I finished off my card by adding some pearls along the perimeter of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!

Happy Heart Day!

Happy Friday!!!

I hope you all have some fun plans for the upcoming weekend :)

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for KaDoodle Bug Designs that uses a super cute little turtle from the Turtley Diggin You set

I decided to make a easel card, I haven't made one in awhile and I love making them so I'm glad I went with this style. I used my spellbinders for the scallop rectangles and then popped up that super cute turtle with some foam adhesive for just a bit more dimension. I stamped his cute little face using a face stamp from Peachy Keen. and added just a bit of chalk to his cheeks. I used some of the hearts that were cut out from the border punch and randomly paced them onto my card and then added a bit of glossy accents. I finished off my card with some seam binding and a twine bow.

I will also be entering my card into the challenge at
DoubleClick: Use a heart

Terrific Tuesday Challenge--We Belong Together

Happy Tuesday!

Are you all ready for a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at the Scrappy Moms blog?

Photobucket

The theme for this Terrific Tuesday Challenge is.....
We Belong Together
(things that go together.....socks/shoes, PB &J, etc)

Fun right??

For my project, I decided to make a fun little box to hold some candy or even a little gift.

As soon as I saw this meal box in the Silhouette Store, I knew I needed to make it :)
I cut it out twice, once in red and once in yellow. I then cut off just the handle from the yellow box and attached it over the red handle. I then cut out my fries from the Locker Talk cricut cartridge and the burger from the Simply Charmed cricut cartridge. I layered them on top of each other and then used some foam adhesive to pop it up and add a little dimension. My sentiment came from the
You Are My Everything stamp set from Scrappy Moms.

Here is a look at the whole set:

Great set right? So many possibilities with this one!

Foxy Love

Happy Monday!!

Are you recovered from all the Super Bowl food yesterday? :) I know I always make way too much food. Well, at least we have snacks for today right? haha!

Today I have a simple card to show you that I made using the foxes from the

I decided to make a tall card this time to change it up just a little. To make this type of card, I just take a piece of 8"x7" cardstock and fold it in half so that it measures 8"x 3.5" when folded. It fits perfectly into a business size envelope for mailing. For the top of my card, I used a border punch to cut out a decorative edge and then tied some ribbon around it and attached it to my card base. The little foxes, hearts and the "LOVE" all came from the A Woodland Valentine set from KaDoodle Bug. I thought they were so cute!! I finished off my card with some faux stitching and some little sccents with my white gel pen and some glossy accents on their little noses.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
