What's Cookin'?

Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having a fabulous Friday and that your Thanksgiving was awesome!

Today I am back to share with you a super fun little card that I created using one of the new stamps that was released this month from Pink & Main called, What's Cookin'.

I think this little chef is so incredibly cute! I could not wait to get him all colored up and onto a card. For my card, I used a white card base and layered onto that a piece of red card stock and black cardstock. I then adhered some fun red gingham pattern paper from DCWV. I cut another piece of red cardstock and punched the bottom with a border punch and added some black plaid ribbon and a bow. I stamped the greeting from the What's Cookin' stamp set to the upper left corner and then added some white stitching with my white gel pen. I popped that layer onto the card front with some foam tape. I stamped the little chef from the What's Cookin' stamp set onto some white cardstock and colored him in with my Copics. Once I had him colored in, I used the What's Cookin' die to cut him out. I them popped him up with some more foam tape. I finished off my card with some bling in the corners and some white accents on the chef with my gel pen.

Yeah, We're Good Like That

Hi crafty friends!
Enjoying your Friday? I hope so :)

Today I am back to share another fun card using those awesome Pink & Main stamps.
I decided to make my hubby a little card to stick in his lunch box and the November Free with $30 Purchase stamp set called, Good Like That was perfect!

My hubby loves his coffee and donuts in the morning so this was just too perfect not to make him a little card. I stamped the images onto some Simon Says Stamp cardstock with Memento ink and then colored them in with my Copics. For the sprinkles on the donut, I used some distress ink and they smeared just a bit when I layered some glossy accents onto the top but I ended up really liking how that looked so it was a happy accident :)  I popped the sentiment up with some foam tape.

"Yeah, we're good like that".....I love it!! So fun! I think my hubby will get a kick out of it also when he sees it :)

Card Harmony --- Thankful Mice

Happy Monday!
I hope your weekend was fabulous and that your day is off to a great start!

Today Kimberly and I are back with another Card Harmony post.
Here is a link to my blog post that tells a little bit about what Card Harmony is all about.
We basically take turns purchasing stamps each month and then we both make a card using the same stamp set to see how alike or different our cards turn out. We add a little twist each month though to make it a little more challenging.

This month we are using the stamp set from Lawn Fawn titled, Thankful Mice.
The added challenge was that we needed to make a 3D project.
Pretty much anything except for a card.

Here is the project that I created:

I decided to make a cute little box and fill it with some sweet treats for Kimberly. To make my box, I used the Baker's Box Thinlet die from SU!. After my box was made, I stamped those cute little mice, colored them and the used the coordinating Thankful Mice dies to cut them out. I cut out the circle and scalloped circle from some more dies and then layered that all together and popped it up onto the front of the box with some foam tape. For my greeting, I stamped the "Give Thanks" greeting that is also in the Thankful Mice set with some versamark ink and heat embossed it with some white embossing powder. I added some fun ribbon to hold my box closed. I also added a button and a hemp bow. I cut out some leaves from the Small Stitched Leaves from Lawn Fawn and glued those to the underside of the button. I finished off my box with some clear and gold sequins.

Be sure to check out Kimberly's blog, Kimberly's Crafty Spot
to see the project that she made!!
It is fabulous!! I love it so much!!
Here is a little sneak peek of it:

I love you AND pie!!

Hey there!
Happy Friday!!

Today I am back to share with you a card that uses one of the new stamp sets in the November release from Pink & Main called, Baker.

There are so many cute images in this Baker set, that it was really hard for me to not use all of them! lol! Recently we went to an orchard and did a little apple picking. Needless to say, we picked way to many apples. My husband loves homemade apple pie and so my daughter has been practicing making them. He loves that lol! Anywho, that is one of the first things that came to my mind when I saw this stamp set. I stamped all of my images onto some scrap pattern papers and paper pieced all the images. I love the look the paper piecing gave and I was able to use up some scraps so it was a win win! The greeting can also be found in the Baker set. The steam and the little heart came from the Latte Love set.

Merry and Bright

Hey everyone and Happy Veteran's Day!!
Thank you to all the men and women who have sacrificed and served our country!

Today I am stopping in real quick to share with you a card that I made for a couple of challenges.
I am playing along in the November Card Sketch Challenge over at Scrapbook.com and there are 5 different sketchs as well as a bonus sketch. The card I made today is for Sketch #1 and is the sketch from The Sweet Stop: SSS171

Here is the card I created based on the above sketch:

I love these little images in the Snow Day set from Lawn Fawn so I knew I wanted to color them up for this card. I also used the Snow Day 6x6 paper pad for all of my pattern papers. The stitched snow hill came from the Scallop Waves Dies from Pink & Main. I simply cut out three circles from some circle dies and then cut out my little hills with the Scallop Waves Die so that they would fit on top of the circle perfectly. I tucked the tree behind the first little hill and then popped up the front hill with some foam tape and added that cute little bunny and bird. I colored everything with my Copic markers.

I am also entering this card into the following challenges:

Believe

Hey everyone!
Happy Tuesday! I hope your day is going smoothly!

Today I have a simple, yet pretty card to share with you that I made for a couple of challenges.

A few weeks ago I went to the Stamp Scrap Art Show and had a blast!! I saw this cute little Believe word die at the Paper Sweeties Booth and had to have it! I was so happy to have some time to play with it. I kept my card pretty simple so that it was easy to mail and I really wanted the focus to be on the BELIEVE. That is one of my favorite words during the holidays. I created an A2 card base out of white cardstock. I popped up a layer of red glitter cardstock with some foam adhesive onto the base. I then layered another piece of white cardstock onto the red glitter cardstock. I cut out the Believe from the red glitter cardstock and then stamped and fussy cut out the santa hat from the Toboggan Together stamp set from Lawn Fawn and placed it on the corner of the B. I finished off my card with a few sequins. Even though it is simple, I think it came out so pretty and even a little elegant :)

Scooting By To Say Hello

Hi everyone and happy happy Friday!!!

Today I am back with another card using some awesome stamps from
Pink & Main!

BlogButton

I love sending out cards just to say Hi so I thought I would make another one for my stash. You can never have too many of those right?

I recently purchased some Zig Clean Color Brush Pens and have been enjoying coloring with those, even though I still have a lot to learn lol! I knew I wanted to color up this cute little scooter from the On The Go stamp set pink. I added some white enamel dots for the tire rims and some glossy accents to the handles and headlight. I added the little exhaust clouds and the greeting, also from the On The Go set. I backed it onto some black cardstock, tied a bow and then popped it up onto that fun pink polka dot paper. I finished off my card with a few black enamel dots in the top right corner and bottom left corner. I think it turned out super cute and can't wait to mail it out! Hopefully it brings a smile to the recipient. :)

Die Cuttin Divas Guest Diva

Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday!
Today I am excited to be a Guest Diva for Die Cuttin' Divas!

Challenge #240 is a sketch!
I love sketches!!

Here is the sketch for this challenge:

And here is the card that I created based on the sketch:

I decided to make a tall card. I cut my cardstock 8"x 9" and then folded it in half so that it measures 4" x 9".  This actually fits in a business size envelope and I think the different size makes it fun. I found that super cute "Ho Ho Ho' from the Silhouette online store, design ID 100721. For the darker areas on my die cut, I simply colored them with a copic marker instead of cutting out different colors of cardstock. I added a bit of Wink of Stella Clear to the ornament tops as well as the white on the hat. I also added some red Trendy Twine and some faux stitching with my white gel pen. To finish off the card, I added a few sparkly enamel dots. Sorry the sparkle of the enamel dots and the shimmer from the Wink of Stella aren't showing up very well. It has been so gloomy in my area and could not seem to get a great picture of my card.

I hope you will head over to Die Cuttin' Diva's and join in on the challenge!
That sketch was super fun!

Pink & Main Challenge #3

Hey everyone!
I hope your Sunday is going great!

Today marks the start of a new challenge over at

The theme for the November challenge is.....
Thanks/Thank You/Thanksgiving
You just need to simply create a new project, post it to your blog and enter by adding it to the inlinkz at the Pink & Main Challenge Blog.
Easy Peasy!!

Here is the card that I created for the challenge:

I don't send out too many cards for Thanksgiving so I decided to go with a Thank You card. I can always use those :) I used that cute little whale from the Whale Of A Time stamp set from Pink & Main. I just think he is so darn cute! I recently got some Zig Clean Color Brush pens and decided I would color him using those. I am still learning with them but I love how the texture from the watercolor paper added a little more depth to my whale. For my greeting I used two different stamp sets and a little masking to create my sentiment. The "tons of" came from the Whale Of A Time set (I masked off the love) and the "thanks" came from the Stitched Greetings set.  I finished off my card with a fun little bow and a few sequins.

I hope you will create a project and join us for the
I would love to see what you create!!
