Hello Spring

Happy Friday!
Today I am back with a card that uses one of the new stamps that was just released from

BlogButton

For my card, I used the *NEW* stamp set titled, Spring Train.

I thought this little train was so cute that I couldn't wait to make a card with it. It reminds me of a car that my kids had when they were little :) Anywho, I decided to go with a pink car and some pink colored flower pots. I colored all my images with some Copic markers and then connected the components of the train with a black pen by drawing some black lines and some little bows. I stamped the greeting at the top with some pink ink and added a bow to the other side. I attached my image panel with some foam tape to my card base. This is a tall card, which fits perfectly into a business size envelope.

I added a bit of crochet thread along the bottom and popped my greeting up with some foam tape at the top. I finished off my card with some white stitching using a white gel pen.

Happy Birthday

Happy Tuesday!
I hope you are all having a fabulous day!

Today I have a card that I would like to share with you that I made for a couple of challenges.

and

Here is the card that I created based off of the above sketch:

I have had the Three Amigos stamp set from Mama Elephant for quite awhile now and have never used it. I was inspired by Sarah Elliot to finally break it out and use it. Sarah is doing a series on her YouTube channel called Use It or Lose It. Well, her latest video she was using embossing folders but one of her adorable cards used this stamp set and it jogged my memory that I had it lol! I made it my mission to use the stamp set this week. When I ran across the sketch at Retro Sketches, I knew this would be the perfect time to do just that. I stamped my images onto some white cardstock and colored them in with my Copic markers. I used an older 6x6 paper pad for my patterend paper, I thought the stripes went really well with my colored images. I finished off my card with some hemp and a few enamel dots. Super simple but I love how it turned out and I now have another card for my birthday stash. Can never have too many birthday cards right? lol

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my blog!
I really appreciate it!!

I hope you have a great crafty day!

Card Harmony using Lawn Fawn's Sweet Smiles

Happy Monday!
I hope you had a fabulous weekend!

Today Kimberly and I are back with another Card Harmony post.
Here is a link to my blog post that tells a little bit about what Card Harmony is all about.
We basically take turns purchasing stamps each month and then we both make a card using the same stamp set to see how alike or different our cards turn out. We add a little twist each month though to make it a little more challenging.

This month we are using the stamp set from Lawn Fawn called
Our twist this month was to incorporate watercolor.

This is the card that I created:

I stamped my image using some archival ink and then used the coordinating Sweet Smiles die to cut it out. I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens for my watercoloring. Once I had everything colored in, I set it aside and let it dry. I added some patterned paper and crochet thread along the side of my card. Once my gumball machine was dry, I added those fun little faces to the gumballs, added my greeting and popped up the machine with foam tape. I finished my card off with some enamel dots.

I will also be entering my card into the following challenges:
Lawnscaping Challenge: #126 Sweets
Craft Your Passion: #304 Anything Goes
PDE Linky Party: #115 Anything Goes

Hey everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing Sunday!

Today starts a new challenge over at Sunny Day Crafting.

For challenge #3, the photo we are using for inspiration is:

(Photo from Google Images)

Here is the project that I made based on the above picture:

I was inspired to make a Easter themed project from the picture and that got me thinking of baskets of candy so this is what I ended up with lol! I used the Trapezoid Treat Box and Woven Basket dies from My Favorite Things to create my basket. To create my little scene on the front, I used some dies from My Creative Time as well as some paper roses from Recollections. I filled my basket with some yellow basket filler and some caramel bunnies. I think it turned out super cute :)

I hope you will head over to Sunny Day Crafting and check out the details for challenge #3 and play along! I would love to see what you create and how the photo inspired you :)

To Enjoy The Rainbow...

Happy Friday!
Today I am back with a card that uses one of the new stamps that was just released from
BlogButton

For my card, I decided to use that sweet little froggie from the Rain Frogs stamp set.

After I had my frog colored in, I stamped the image again onto some patterned paper so that I could paper piece the umbrella. I used some circle dies to cut out my image as well as a piece to layer behind my image circle. I stamped my greeting, also in the Rain Frogs set, onto some white cardstock and then colored in some of the words with a blue Copic marker. I finished off my card with some glossy accents, white gel pen accents and some enamel dots.

Happy Birthday Banner Card

Happy Happy Thursday!!

Today I would like to share with you a card that I made for a few challenges.

Here is the card that I made for the above challenges:

For my card, I colored that sweet little girl from the Happy Banner MFT Stamp set with my Copic markers. I then used a circle die cut to cut her out. I popped her up with some foam tape and added a bit of clear wink of stella to her bow and banner. I finished off the card with some enamel dots and some faux white stitching. The inside reads, Happy Happy Birthday. I love the simplicity of this card and it will be super easy to mail :)

Easter Banner

Hey crafty friends!
Happy Hump Day!

Today I would like to show you the banner that I made for my March banner.
I'm going to try and make a banner every month this year!
For this month, I decided to make a Easter banner for my home decor.

This was really simple and quick! I used some chipboard coasters that I purchased over a year ago from PTI. Never quite knew what to do with them so they just sat. Then I saw them when I was rummaging through one of my bins and had a lightbulb moment lol! I covered each coaster with some patterned paper from an older 6x6 stack that I have also had for over a year then added a paper doily to each square. I added some circles to the centers of each doily and began decorating.

I added a little Easter basket full of eggs and a chocolate bunny to the left end. Some of the letter panels have some older paper flowers I've been hoarding and some have some Easter eggs that I die cut from the scraps left over from covering the chipboard.

To the Right end, I added a little Chickie that just hatched. I punched some holes and attached each piece with some white satin ribbon.

Here is a look at the entire banner. I absolutely love how it turned out! The best part is it took me less than an hour!! lol

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Chirpy Chirp Chirp Easter Card

Hey everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous Tuesday!

Today I wanted to share with you a card that I made for a few challenges.

1. CardMaps/Scrapbook.com Card Challenge for March, using the following sketch:

Here is the card that I made for the above challenges:

I've had the Chirpy-Chirp-Chirp stamp set from Lawn Fawn for a couple of weeks now but haven't used it until today. I was so excited to finally pull it out and play with these cute images for these challenges. After I had my images colored in, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also used a grass die from MCT. I heat embossed the greeting using some pale blue embossing powder that ended up being a pretty good match to my blue cardstock. I added some white faux stitching with my gel pen to the tag and some clear Wink Of Stella to the egg and paint. I finished off my card with some iridescent sequins. The inside reads,
(Translation: Happy Easter).

Birthday Wishes

Happy Sunday!
I hope your weekend was fabulous and fun :)

Tonight I would like to show you a card that I made for a few different challenges.
1: The sketch challenge over at Scrapbook.com.

2: The challenge at Seize The Birthday (no topping).

Here is the card that I created for the challenges:

When I saw the above sketch, the first thought that went through my brain was balloons. I decided to flip the sketch upside down so that I could make that happen. I cut out my balloons using some paper scraps (gotta love that!) and attached them to my card. I drew the strings with my Copic Multiliner line. The birthday greeting as well as the bows on the balloons came from the Birthday Bits stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!

Life With You Is A Picnic

For my Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Guest Designer post, please click HERE

Happy Friday everyone!

BlogButton

Today I am back with a card that shows you one of the new stamps from Pink & Main called,

I love the cute little ants that are in this Picnic set and couldn't wait to make a card with one of them. After I had him all colored him, I stamped another ant (the smaller one) over the top and added a bit of grass.  I used some circle dies to cut out my image. The greeting is also in the Picnic set. I simply curved it slightly on my stamp block so that it would fit a little better onto my circle. I cut a strip of black cardstock, notched the ends and used my paper piercer to go along the edges to poke some holes so that my banner matched the circles. I added a bit of crochet ribbon to finish off my card.

Guest Designer for Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons

Hey everyone and happy Friday!!
I hope you are having a good one!

Today I am pretty excited to be a guest designer over at
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons

They have some really great SVG files. So many in fact, that it was hard for me to chose which ones I wanted to use for my projects lol. I decided on three for today's projects.

The first one I chose was this awesome Vintage Arcade Game file.

I am always in need of birthday cards but always seem to struggle with making masculine cards so when I saw the Vintage Arcade Game file, I thought it would be perfect to make a birthday card for a guy to have in my stash. I cut everything out using my Cricut Explore and adhered all the layers together. I popped it up with some foam tape at a slight angle onto my card front. I stamped the "Level Up" and "You're So Old...You're Retro" greetings using the Game On stamp set from Pretty Cute Stamps. So fun! I used to love going to the game room when I was growing up and spent many quarters there lol!

The next 2 files I chose to use were the

Easter is approaching rather quickly (Didn't we just have Christmas???) so I thought it would be cute to make a little treat bag for some Easter candy. I loaded up the Oval Window Treat Bag and Happy Bunny onto my mat in the Cricut Landing Page and sized that adorable bunny to fit just how I wanted him. Everything was so simple and easy to put together and these could easily be mass produced. Once I had my bag complete, I stamped my Happy Easter greeting and heat embossed it with some pink embossing powder. I notched one end, gave it a little curl and adhered it to my bag. I finished it off with some yellow ribbon, a double bow and a button.

A big thank you to Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons for allowing me to be a guest designer!!
I had a lot of fun!!

I hope you enjoyed my post today!
Thank you for stopping by! I appreciate it so very much!!

Paper Play Sketches #3

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing the new sketch challenge that has started at

This week's Sketch:

My Design Team project based on the above sketch:

When I saw the banners on the sketch, I immediately thought of birthday, so I made another birthday card for my stash lol! The patterned papers that I used are from a old 6x6 paper stack from Making Memories that I have had for at least 5 years!! I was so happy to use it again, I love the soft purple and the green color combo in that stack!

Sunny Day Crafting is a new bi-weekly photo inspired challenge blog! Fun right?

For challenge #2 the photo we are using for inspiration is:

(Photo from Google Images)
How cute is that little piggie?? This image makes my heart melt :)

Here is the card that I created based on the above photo:

For my card, I decided to use my silhouette and cut out this cute little pig from the silhouette store (design 45120). After I had him all put together, I stamped a cute little face onto him from the Black Eyed Critters Face Asst. stamp set from Peachy Keen. I placed him onto a scalloped circle from the Bunch Of Fun Circles dies from MCT and adhered that to my card front. I finished off my card with some pink satin ribbon, sequins and some white doodling.

I hope you will head over to Sunny Day Crafting and check out the details for challenge #2 and play along! I would love to see what you create and how the photo inspired you :)

Easter hand Sanitizer Holder

Hey everyone! I hope you are having a fabulous Friday and have lots of fun things planned for the upcoming weekend :)

BlogButton

Today I am back to share with you a fun little project that I created using some stamps and dies from Pink & Main.

For my project, I wanted to make a little hand sanitizer box to give as a gift. I stamped that adorable little chick from the Easter Peeps stamp set from Pink & Main and colored her in with my Copic markers. I used the coordinating Easter Peeps dies to cut her out. For my greeting, I used a speech bubble from MCT and stamped the "Peep Peep" from Pink & Main inside the bubble.

This is what you see when you open up the box. The Happy Easter, also came from the Easter Peeps stamp set. The box is held shut with some repositional glue dots.

I popped up the speech bubble with some foam tape and put the little chick on a Action Wobble. I thought that added a little bit of fun :) I think this would make such a cute little gift to give to someone for a little Easter treat.
