Gift Card and Candy Thank You Gift

Happy Friday!
Today I am back with another project that showcases some awesome stamps and dies from

BlogButton

I decided to make a 3D project today based off of a tutorial by
Dawn Griffith that can be found HERE.
I used the Hello Sweet & Florals stamp sets along with the Sweet Dies.

I followed the tutorial to make my box. I stamped flowers and leaves from the Florals set around the border of my image panel, making sure to go off of the edge for interest. I stamped the "You're So" from the Hello Sweet stamp set and then used the Sweet Die and added some white highlights with a gel pen. I finished it off with a seam binding bow. I think this makes such a sweet little Thank You gift!

Here is a look with the gift card out:

Sheer and Clear Class Day 1

Hey guys! I hope you are having a fabulous Wednesday!
Tonight I have a card that I would like to share with you that I made for my homework for Day 1 of the Sheer and Clear Online Card Class.

I absolutely fell in love with the example that was shown to us by Debby Hughes. Her card was so pretty and elegant and I immediately knew if I could create something similar, it would make the perfect card for my mom for Mother's Day.

Here is what I created:

I kept my card really close to Debby Hughes' card. I love how she attached the vellum with a mini clothes pin. For my card, I used some water color cardstock and put some color down and then misted it with some gold shimmer spray. I then die cut the "mom".  I heat embossed my circle and the "love you" with some white embossing powder and then placed the "mom" underneath. I used a punch to cut out my leaves and then attached everything with the clothes pin, I finished my card with some sequins, some butterflies and some crochet thread. I love how my card turned out!
A big thanks to Debby for the inspiration!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!

I hope you have a great crafty day!

I Woof You!

Happy Friday!
Today I am back with another card that showcases one of the adorable stamps from
 Pink & Main!

BlogButton

For my card, I used the Hot Dog stamp set.

I stamped that cute little doggie onto some white cardstock and then colored him in with my Copic markers. I used a circle die to cut it out, stamped my greeting and fussy cut the tennis ball out (also in the Hot Dog set) and adhered my image layer onto a larger circle cut from some Kraft cardstock. I cut a strip of plaid paper and notched the ends to form a banner and attached that to my card front and then placed my circle piece onto that. I finished off my card with a few enamel dots and some white doodling with my gel pen.

Card Harmony using Abby's Spring Showers

Happy Monday!
I hope you had a fabulous weekend!

Today Kimberly and I are back with another Card Harmony post.
Here is a link to my blog post that tells a little bit about what Card Harmony is all about.
We basically take turns purchasing stamps each month and then we both make a card using the same stamp set to see how alike or different our cards turn out. We add a little twist each month though to make it a little more challenging.

This month we are using the stamp set from Simon Says Stamp called,
Abby's Spring Showers.
No twist this month.

Here is the card that I created using the stamp set:

I stamped my image onto some white cardstock and then masked my image so that I could create the background. I used distress inks for the sky and grass. Once that was done, I removed the masks and used my Copics to color in my image. I added some little polka dots to her skirt and socks with my white gel pen. I finished my card by adding some trendy twine and popping up my image layer with some foam adhesive.

Be sure to check out Kimberly's blog, Kimberly's Crafty Spot to see what she made

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!!
I really appreciate it!!

I hope you have a great crafty day!!

I stamped that cute little image onto a piece of white cardstock and colored her in with my Copic markers. I did a little paper piecing for the suitcase and popped it up with some foam tape for a little added dimension. Greetings from the funny farm!

Happy Friday!
Today I am back with a card that uses two of the newer stamps from Pink & Main.

BlogButton

For my card, I used the Funny Farmer set & The Herd set:

To create my little scene, I needed to do quite a bit of masking. First I stamped the chick, masked her off and then stamped my farmer. I masked the farmer and then stamped the piggie and cow. I removed all of the masks and then colored in the images with my Copic markers. I added a bit of grass and stamped the greeting into the top right corner. I then used a stitched rectangle die to cut out my image layer and added some ribbon. I popped it up onto some burlap paper with foam tape. I love the cute images in both of these sets and they coordinate with each other perfectly!

Happy Birthday

Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having a fabulous Sunday!

Today I would like to share a card that I made for a couple of challenges.

Here is the card that I created for the above challenges:

I love the little elephants in the Adorable Elephants stamp set from MFT and was so happy that I was finally able to use them. I stamped him onto a piece of white cardstock and colored him in with my Copics. I paper pieced the balloon so that it matched my background paper. I used my Zig Zag Stitched Circles to cut him out, placed it on my card and then trimmed off the excess. I stamped my greeting with some versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder and popped it up with some foam adhesive.

A Sweet Hello

Happy Friday!
Today I am back with a card that uses one of the new stamps from
BlogButton

I used the Hummingbirds stamp set for my card.

I stamped the feeder onto a piece of white cardstock, colored it with my Copics and then used a die to cut it out. For that pretty little hummingbird, I decided to fussy cut her out so that I could pop her up with some foam tape for a bit of added dimension. I added my greeting, also from the Hummingbird set, along the bottom of my card and added some pearls to each corner. I finished off my card with some glossy accents in the bubbles in the feeder and some wink of stella on the Hummingbird.

Paper Play Sketches #5

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing the new sketch challenge that has started at

This Week's Sketch:

My Design Team project based on the above sketch:

I used the Blogging Buddies stamp set from Mama Elephant for the image on my card. The patterned papers are from Teresa Collins. I love the soft colors! I did not have any enamel dots that matched the soft mint colors in my patterned paper, so I used a circle punch and punched out some circles, put them on my card and added a bit of glossy accents to each one. I really like that they have the appearance of an enamel dot and they match perfectly!

Sunny Day Crafting Challenge #4

Hey everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing Sunday!

Today starts a new challenge over at Sunny Day Crafting.

For challenge #4, the photo we are using for inspiration is:

(photo from Google Images)

Here is the project that I made based on the above photo:

I came across this dimensional Tinkerbell sticker and knew it would be perfect for this challenge. I decided to make a shaker card, so that the shaker components could act as "fairy dust". :) I muted the look a little by using vellum instead of clear acetate. I added a bow with some seam binding and then added my shaker panel over it. So cute!

I hope you will head over to Sunny Day Crafting and check out the details for challenge #4 and play along! I would love to see what you create and how the photo inspired you :)

April Pink & Main Challenge

Hi everyone!
Happy April 1!!
I hope you don't get pranked too bad today!

Today marks the start of a new challenge over at

BlogButton

The theme for the April challenge is....
Aren't these colors pretty?
For the challenge you simply need to make a project that uses the above color palette for your inspiration, post it to your blog and enter by adding it to the inlinkz at the
Easy Peasy!!

Here is the card that I created based on the above colors:

To create my card, I stamped a whole bunch of the flowers from the Doodled Flowers set from Pink & Main onto some watercolor cardstock and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens to watercolor my flowers and leaves. After it was dry, I used a stitched rectangle die to cut it out, making sure some of the flowers went off the edge. I layered it on top of some silver glimmer cardstock and adhered it to my card base. I heat embossed the sentiment layer with some silver embossing powder and attached that panel to my card front with some foam tape. The greeting is also in the Doodled Flowers stamp set. I finished off my card with a few sequins.

I hope you will create a project and join us for the
I would love to see what you create!!
You can find all of the rules there (there aren't many) and don't forget that you do not have to use Pink & Main products on your project.
