Hey everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Monday!
Tonight I have a card that I would like to share with you that I made for my homework for Day 1 of the Heat Wave Online Card Class.
I recently purchased a magazine that had some Altenew rose stamps included with it. I thought today would be the perfect day to break them out so that I could emboss one of the layers with some gold embossing powder.
After I had my rose all inked up and embossed, I put it aside and worked on the rest of my card. I embossed the "thanks" with some gold embossing powder and then used my Swiss Dots embossing folder to emboss the top part of my card layer. I also added some gold embossing all around the edges. I popped up my embossed layer with some foam tape and then also added some foam tape to my rose. I finished off my card with some sequins.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Beautiful!!
Beautiful card. The gold embossing on really does add the perfect touch. I'm trying this technique today.
I remember the days when magazines included stamp goodies.
Very Pretty, that folder is always a success no matter what type of card you make. love the gold around the edges and a perfect number of sequins really tops it off.
Beautiful card.
Gorgeous!! I love that pink and gold combo! I would've never thought to add the gold like that! Beautiful card!! <3
Your card is lovely, and I really want to get some layering stamps after seeing how beautifully your rose turned out!
Great combination of the different embossing-techniques and -tips of Day-1.
Greetings from Wiebke (KomMa-designed).
