Merry Christmas Deer

Hi crafty friends! Happy Monday!
Today I would like to share with you a Christmas card featuring the adorable stamp,

I started my card by making an A2 cardbase from some red card stock. I made a little scene with some hill die cuts and some snowflake patterned paper. I added my greeting, a bow and adhered some striped vellum behind my scene panel and popped it up onto my card base with foam tape. I colored that sweet little Lucille with my Copic markers, paper pieced her shirt and popped her up with more foam tape. I finished off my card with some snowflakes from Jaded Blossom and added some pearls to the centers. I think she is adorable!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Sketch N Scrap #143

Hey crafty friends!!
Happy Friday!
Today starts a new sketch challenge over at

Just in case you don't already know, Sketch N Scrap is a sketch challenge blog that offers layout and card sketches each month! Layout sketches are posted on the 1st and 15th of each month and card sketches are posted on the 5th and 20th of each month.

Here is a look at the second layout sketch of the month provided to us by Heather:

Here is my layout I created based on the sketch:

Last year my daughter and I got our picture taken with Santa on a whim. As soon as I saw the sketch, the idea for this picture being on a layout came to mind! I scanned the original picture so that I could manipulate it a bit for this layout. My daughter and I were both wearing bright colors that didn't really go with the red. so I turned the picture into a black and white and then turned everything that was red back to red. I love the way it turned out!! The app I used was called Color Pop. Once I had the picture the way I wanted it, I printed it out and matted it onto some white and red glitter cardstock. I added it to my gray striped paper, and added my die cut word, Believe, to the bottom of the layout. I die cut some stars and just started adding them and filling in some of the gaps with sequins and Nuvo drops. I added the date on a label and some doodling around the border and called it good lol! It is so incredibly glittery and sparkly in person, this picture definitely doesn't do it justice. I love how it turned out!

This is my last post as a deign team member for Sketch N Scrap. I have had so much fun being on this wonderful team with all these talented ladies!! Unfortunately, as my kids get older, the pictures I have to scrap are less and less. Thank you Lisa for allowing me to be a part of the Sketch N Scrap team!!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and take a look at my latest creation!
I appreciate it so much!
Don't forget to swing by the Sketch N Scrap blog and take a look at what my talented DT sisters made with the sketch. I hope you decide to play along, I would love to see what you create!

Holly Jolly Christmas

Hey there crafty friends!!
I hope you are all having a terrific Tuesday!!
Today I am taking over the Jaded Blossom blog as one of their December Guest Designers!! Woo Hoo!!

I decided to make a fun little treat box that would be perfect to give to a friend, neighbor, co-worker, postman, teacher, etc.

I created my box using the Scallop Caddy Die and decorated it with some fun patterned papers. I added a fun little holly border using the Christmas Banner Dies to the top of the front panel and added some glossy accents to the berries.  Next up was Santa!! I colored him from the Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set and added some liquid applique to the white parts of his suit and puffed it up with my heat gun for some dimension. He was added to the front of my box with some foam tape. I stamped out my greeting, also from Holly Jolly Christmas, onto a flag from the Card Layer Dies 1. I tucked it a little behind the Santa, making sure it hung off the edge of the box on the other side. I added a small bow from the Bow Dies and added some holly to the middle.

I think it turned out so cute!!

A big thanks to Michelle and Candace for allowing me to take over the blog today and be a guest designer!! I had so much fun making my project!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!
I hope you all have a great crafty day!

`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Here is a look at the card that I made with this super cute stamp, Maggie - Awareness Is Key

I created my card base from a file from SVGCuttingFiles called, Center Step Edged Open Scallop Card Base and used some patterned paper from Me & My Big Ideas to decorate it. I stamped out that sweet image and colored her with my Copic markers and paper pieced her dress. I popped her up with some foam tape onto a stitched oval die cut and added it to the front panel of my card base. I added my greeting by cutting out a tag from the Mini Tag 2 set from Jaded Blossom and adding the word "HOPE" by cutting out some letters from the Alphabet Dies 2 set, also from Jaded Blossom. I finished off my card with some pink ribbon and some pearls.

I can think of so many organizations that I would love to bring awareness to. I kept tossing so many different ones around in my head before deciding on Breast Cancer, so I'm sure you will be seeing me using this stamp again. Brewing Up Some Christmas Wishes

Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having a great Monday!
Today I would like to share a cute little gift card holder that features one of my favorite stamps

I made my card base from some deep red cardstock and layered it with some fun patterned papers. I added some thin ribbon and a little bow. I colored up Felicity with my Copic markers, making sure she was in the holiday spirit with some festive colored clothes ;) I stamped my greeting from the Happy Brew Year stamp set from Jaded Blossom and then popped Felicity up with some foam tape onto my card front. I finished off the card with some snowflakes from Jaded Blossom's Winter Banner Dies and some white and clear Nuvo drops.

Here is a look at the inside of my card:

On the left side, there is room for a message and there is a little pocket on the right side to hold a gift card. I thought a gift card to a coffee place worked so well with this stamp!!

Christmas Tags

Hi crafty friends!
Today I have a couple of tags to share with you that I made with the
Yup!! Jaded Blossom is bringing back the challenges!! WooHoo!!
For this month the theme is Tags and since it is about time for me to start wrapping up some gifts, I couldn't wait to play along and get some tags made so I could enter.

Here are a look at the tags I made:

I love how these turned out!! And making them was so super simple! I used the Treat Tag Die to create my tag base with some patterned papers.  I cut out some bows from the Bow Dies and added them to my tags. I stamped out the "Joy" and "Noel" from the Noel stamp set, did a little simple coloring with my Copics and then used one of the labels in the Label Shape Dies to cut them out. I added some glitter to the ornaments and all around the edge of the label die cut and popped it up with some foam tape. I finished off my tags with a little jingle bell in the bow center and some thread to tie it onto the package.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!!
I hope you have a great crafty day!!
