Happiest of Holidays

Hi everyone!
It's Friday!! Yay!! Any fun plans for the weekend? We are going to be extremely hot in my area so I think we are hunkering down in the AC lol!

I have a card to share with you today that I made for a couple of challenges.
The challenges I will be entering my card into are:

&

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I created an A2 cardbase from white cardstock and covered it with some pretty bright green glitter paper. I stamped that adorable Elf image and colored it with my Copic markers. Once I had it colored in, I used a scalloped die from MFT to cut out my image panel. I stamped my greeting onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder, cut it out and popped it up with foam tape. I added a bit of sparkle by adding some Clear Wink Of Stella to the ornament and the little jingle bell on the hat. I love how this card came out! So simple but I think it makes such a great impact and will be perfect to mail!! Gotta love that!!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!!
I hope you have a great crafty day!!

Clean and Simple Birthday Card

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous day so far! I was able to get in my craft room and play a little bit and I made an adorable card (at least I think so) to play along with a few challenges.

Here is a look at the card that I created and how I created it:

I created my card base from some light pink cardstock and then layered some fun patterned paper strips onto the front. Great way to use up some scraps!! I stamped my greeting onto a piece of gray cardstock with Versamark ink, heat embossed it with some white embossing powder & layered it onto my card. I brought out an older stamp set from MFT to play with and colored that sweet little elephant with my Copic markers. I used a stitched circle die from Jaded Blossom to cut it out and adhered it to my card with some foam tape. I stamped and additional balloon, colored it and fussy cut it out so that it went outside of my die cut circle just a bit. I added a little bow to my elephant and some little sprinkles from Doodlebug to complete my card!

I just adore how this turned out!!!

The challenges I am entering my card into are:

A Tropical Hello

Hi everyone!
Today I have a fun tropical themed card to share with you that I created using those awesome

I created my A2 cardbase from some white cardstock and then used the Card Mat dies to cut out some yellow summer themed paper to layer on top. Before I adhered my yellow piece to my card base though, I used the Stitched Oval Dies to cut a large oval from the center so that I could do a little inlay diecutting. I also used the same Stitched Oval to cut out some Light blue, Darker blue and kraft cardstock so that I would have the stitching detail going around the edge of my scene. I used the Tropical Dies to create my ocean waves and sandy shore and placed them inside my oval area. I created my palm tree by using the Tropical Dies 2 and added a few little doodles with my white gel pen. I stamped my sentiment from the Aloha stamp set with some versafine ink and popped it up onto my card front. I completed my card by adding a few Nuvo drops and using a seashell and crab sticker from my stash.

I think it turned out so cute! My camera did not like that little shiny crab though lol!

I used the Gumball Machine Shaker Card file from SVGCuttingFiles to create my card. I cut the top layer out 6 times and layered them together to create my well for my shaker bits. I stamped my greeting using a stamp set from MFT and used some acetate confetti circles to act as the "gumballs".
I added a few doodles with my white gel pen to complete my card and in no time flat, it was complete and ready to go! Gotta love that!!

Happy Birthday Watercolor Card

Hi everyone!

The challenges that I am playing along with are:

and

(I didn't do the optional theme)

Fun right? Here is a look at the card that I created for the above challenges:

I love this little elephant stamp from Wild Rose Studio that I got a year or so ago and thought she would be perfect to pull out and play with again. I stamped my image onto some Bristol Smooth cardstock and used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to do my water coloring! I need a bit more practice with the watercoloring but it was so fun! I need to do it more often! Anywho, Once I had my image colored, I used a Scallop Rectangle die from Jaded Blossom to cut it out. I added my sentiment with some Onyx Black Versafine ink and a stamp set from Jaded Blossom. I created my card base from some Razzle Berry cardstock from MFT and layered it with some fun bright patterned papers from Doodlebug. I popped up my image panel with some foam tape and added a little crochet thread bow to my little elephant to complete my card. So super simple but I think it turned out so completely adorable!!

You're A Koalaty Friend

Hi everyone!
Today I have a super cute shaped card to share with you that I created using those awesome

I started by creating my card base from some gray cardstock and the Scallop Square Dies. Once I had that made, I put it aside and started working on my little scene. I inked up some clouds using a stencil and some distress oxide ink and then used the Stitched Square Dies to cut it out. I added a bit of grass by cutting some patterned paper out using the Spring Dies and adhering that the the bottom. I stamped my greeting from the G'Day Mate stamp set along the top and colored that sweet little koala with my Copic markers from the same set. I added a bit of thread, tied it off with a bow and then added my koala, which I fussy cut out, with some foam tape. I popped up my little scene with some more foam tape onto my card base and completed my card with a few Nuvo drops and some glossy accents on his little nose.

Adorable!

Jaded Blossom's June Challenge

Hi everyone!!
I hope you are all having a fabulous Sunday!
Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom Blog!!

For this month's challenge, we would like to see your Masculine projects that incorporate those awesome Jaded Blossom products.

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

I always seem to struggle with masculine cards so this was a challenge for me for sure lol! I think this little moose from the I Moose You stamp set was perfect though and I knew I would use him right away. I colored him with my Copic markers and fussy cut him out and set him aside while I worked on the rest of my card. I created a card base from some dark blue cardstock and used the Rectangle Dies 2 to cut out some striped patterned paper. I added that to my card base and cut another rectangle using the Rectangle Dies 2 again and some more dark blue cardstock. I adhered that and added a strip of kraft cardstock along the card front and stamped my greeting from the I Moose You stamp set with some black ink. I added my little Moose with some foam tape and completed my card with a few dark red enamel dots in the top left corner.

Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom blog to see what the rest of the DT made, they never disappoint!
I hope you will play along, I would love to see what you make!
