Warm Hugs

 Hi everyone!

I hope your day is off to a great start!

Today I am sharing an super cute Winter themed card that I created using an adorable snowman image from Digi Doodle Studios called Cocoa's Snowballs For Sale.

This was really simple to make. I started by creating a card base from some white cardstock and then layering some patterned paper from Bo Bunny on top. I love this paper pack from Bo Bunny and have had it for a few years now. I'm down to just a couple of sheets left and it will be a sad day when I use it all. Please tell me that you can relate? lol! Anywho, back to the card,  I printed out my Cocoa's Snowballs For Sale onto a piece of Hammermill cardstock and colored in my image with my Copic markers. Once I had it colored, I used a Octagon Die to cut it out. I did a bit more coloring around the perimeter and stamped my greeting with black ink before popping my image panel up with foam tape onto my card front. I added some snowflake sequins along with some white Nuvo drops and a fun little paper bow to complete my card. So super cute!!

Jingle All The Way

 Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous day!
I would like to share with you a fun little Memory Dex style card that I made for my crafty friend, Kimberly.

I started by creating my card using a metal die from Heidi Swapp. I cut it out three times, once in white (for my base), once in patterned paper and then again in white (winter scene snowy hills). I layered everything together and stamped my sentiment with some black ink. I wrapped some crochet thread around my card, tying it off with a bow and some jingle bells. I colored that adorable little girl with my Copic markers, cut her out using my Scan N Cut and popped her up onto the front with some foam tape. I finished my card with a bit of Glossy accents on the nose, some snowflake sequins and some white Nuvo drops scattered about. It is really kind of simple but I think it is just so cute!! I hope Kimberly likes it as much as I do :)

Merry Little Christmas

Hi everyone!

I hope your day is off to a great start!

Today I am sharing an adorable Christmas card that I created using a cute image from

Isn't that little mouse just the cutest?

To create my card, I started with a white card base and covered it with some text patterned paper. I heat embossed my sentiment onto a piece of green cardstock and applied that to the bottom of my card. I colored Rattata's Gifts with my Copic markers and then cut him out with my Scan N Cut. I die cut a red frame using a Spellbinders die, placed a white oval inside and then trimmed off the bottom just a bit so that it would sit on top of my green panel. I wrapped some white satin ribbon around the seam and tied it off with a bow. I popped up Rattata's Gifts onto the front with some foam tape, added a bit of glitter to his hat and some glossy accents to the little berries. So super sweet!

Copic Colors Used:
--Mouse: E43, E42, E41, R01, R00, R000--
--Hat/Scarf. Holly: R89, R59, R29, R27, YG09, YG07, YG05, YG03--
--Gifts: R27, YG05, YG07, C00, C0, C1--

Cocoa Holder

Hi everyone and happy happy Monday!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Bitten By The Bug 2 Challenge Blog!
The theme for this challenge is a bit different as we are pairing up with the wonderful team over at
Double Trouble Challenge Blog.  We are encouraging you to create a project that is going to help you with your Holiday this year. That can be a Holiday card, Tag, ornament, gift box, gift bag, etc. There will be different ways to play along so be sure to read all the details about the challenge at either the Bitten By The Bug 2 Challenge Blog or the Double Trouble Challenge Blog .

Here is a look at the project that I created to share with you today:

I created a fun gift that included some yummy seasonal hot cocoa. This was really easy to do. I cut out my snowman using a cut from the Christmas Cafe SVG Kit from SVGCuts.com. Once I had my snowman assembled, I added a bit of decoration to his little top hat by cutting out some holly berries and holly leaves using a die from Jaded Blossom. I also added a fun little bow with some jingle bells. For his little hands, I used some twigs that my hubby picked out for me from our back yard. I think this is absolutely adorable! I will probably wrap some cellophane around it, tied off with a bow to present it for gifting.

This is my last post as a designer for the Bitten By The Bug 2 team. It has been a wonderful year and I would like to thank Alicia from Golden Goddess Designs for allowing me to be a part of it! Also, to my teamies, you have all been so inspiring and I look forward to seeing what you all create in the years to come. 💚

I will also be entering my project into the following challenges:

Merry

 Hi everyone!
I hope this finds you well!
I can not believe that it is already December!! It has been such a weird year!

I've been working on some Christmas cards and I would like to share my latest one.

I started by creating an A2 cardbase from some white cardstock and layering a bit of plaid patterned paper on top. Next I added a strip of green cardstock to one side and then doodled all around the perimeter with a black sharpie pen. I used a Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle Die to cut out my white layer and added a piece of vellum behind it before popping it up onto my card front with some foam tape. I die cut the MERRY from some red cardstock and glued that to my card. Once I had that glued down, I realized that I also wanted to incorporate the word Christmas but I already had my dimension going with my white layer being popped up on foam tape.  Thankfully I have a Misti Stamping Tool so I just slipped my card in there and stamped Christmas with some black ink, hoping for the best lol! Luck was on my side and the stamping came out perfectly! Once I had that done, I colored up that adorable little Penguin with some Copic markers and fussy cut him out. I adhered him to my card and added some glossy accents to his little feet and beak. I finished my card with a few star sequins/confetti pieces as well as some white Nuvo drops. I think it came out so cute and that little penguin wearing his little sweater just makes me smile!
