Have A Wild Birthday!

 Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous day so far!
We are having a bit of Spring like weather in my area but I'm sure it will be short lived lol!

I was able to do a bit of crafting and I created a card with some challenges in mind.
The challenges that I will be entering are:

&

Here is a look at the fun birthday card that I created:

I started by creating my card base from some Kraft cardstock and layering a piece of orange plaid patterned paper on top. Next I die cut some white squares, masked along the edges and stamped my critters. I did some simple coloring with my Copic markers and then popped them up onto my card front with some foam tape. I heat embossed my greeting with some white embossing powder onto a piece of Kraft cardstock and then popped that up with more foam tape. I used a white gel pen to add a few accents to the critters and a black pen to add some doodles around the perimeter of my card. I completed my card with a little balloon, a party hat and some yellow stickles on the butterfly.

So incredibly simple but I think it turned out so adorable! I just love those little critters!

A Winter Hi!

Hi everyone! I hope your day is off to a fabulous start!
I wanted to pop on here real quick and share a really simple winter card that I created.

It is still pretty cold in my area, so I am still feeling the winter vibe a bit. I started by stamping that adorable little Marci with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored her with my Copic markers. Once I had her colored in, I fussy cut her out and set her aside while I worked on my scene. I inked around the edges of some blue patterned paper with some blue ink and cut it down to fit inside my white scalloped layer. I die cut 2 snowy hills from some white cardstock using some Snow Bank Dies. I adhered the back snow bank flat against the blue layer and then stamped my greeting onto the front snow bank before popping it up with some tape. I added Marci to the front and then used a bit of white acrylic paint and a paintbrush to flick some "falling snow" onto my scene. Once everything was dry, I adhered my scene to my cardbase and added a few snowflake sequins and Nuvo Drops to complete it. Super simple but I love how it turned out! I think she is so cute!!!

Let It Snow

 Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are all having a fabulous day!
Today I have a sweet little MemoryDex style card to share with you that I made for a crafty friend.

I started by creating my Dex card from some Bristol Smooth cardstock using a metal die from Heidi Swapp. I used some distress inks to create my night sky along with some water droplets. Next I created the snowy hills by using the same Dex die and then the stitched hillside borders from Lawn Fawn. I added a bit of glitter to the top edges and adhered them to my card. I die cut that adorable little cabin and some trees from the Shadow Box Moutain Add On set from Lawn Fawn and tucked them behind my top hill.  I stamped that adorable snowman along with a couple of those sweet little birds and colored them with my Copic markers. I used my Scan N Cut to cut them out and added them to my card front with some foam tape, after I stamped my greeting. I completed my scene by adding a bit more snow by using some snowflake sequins, Nuvo Drops and a white gel pen to get some different textures and interest. I also added a bit more glitter to the snowman's hat and some glossy accents to his little coal buttons.

Copic Colors Used
--Birds: B41, B21, B23, W5--
--Snowman: B0000, B000, YR04, YR02, C7, C5, R20, R00--

Colorful Day!

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful day!
I was able to do a bit of crafting and created a card for a few challenges. Yay!

The challenges that I am entering are:
&

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I started my card by creating my focal piece from some light blue patterned paper. I die cut some clouds, once in vellum and again in white, added some chunky glitter and popped them up onto my light blue piece with some foam tape. Next I die cut that sweet stitched Rainbow and tucked it behind my clouds, making sure to add foam tape so it was even with the clouds. Side Note: I purchased this Rainbow Die back when it came out in Summer 2020 and I was so happy to actually pull it out and use it for the first time!! I created my cardbase from some light yellow cardstock and added some rainbow inspired patterned papers on top. I wrapped some crochet thread around my clouds and added my sentiment before adhering my image panel to the card. I completed my card by adding some small little hearts along with some Nuvo drops. So incredibly simple but I am really happy with how it turned out! 🌈
