Rain Or Shine

Hi everyone and happy happy Friday!!
Any fun plans this weekend? I hope to be able to get outside and get some plants in the ground. I'm ready for some pretty colors in the form of flowers outside lol!

I was able to get a card made today that I will be entering into a few challenges.
Here is a look at my card:

I started by using a sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches (sketch and link below) to create my cardbase. I love using sketches to get the creative sparks flying! Anywho, I chose some coordinating papers and then colored those sweet bears from Penny Black with my Copic Markers to match. Once I had them colored, I used my Scan N Cut to cut it out and popped it up onto my card with some foam tape. I stamped my sentiment, flagged one end and used more foam tape to pop it up. I completed my card with a little bow in the girl bears hair and some glossy accents on the umbrella handle. This card is going to my hubby so I kept it fairly simple and didn't add a lot of bling or embellishments.

I love making cards for my hubby, no occasion needed, and sneaking them into his lunchbox or truck for him to find.

Happy Mother's Day

 Hi everyone!
I hope your Wednesday is off to a fabulous start!
I was able to get a bit of crafting done today and made a card for my mom for
 Mother's Day.

I kept my card pretty simple. I started by creating my card base from some heavy white cardstock. I stamped my image from Simon Says Stamp and colored it in with my Copic markers. Once I had it colored, I used my Scan N Cut to cut it out and set it to the side while I worked on the front of my card. I added a patterned paper border to one side as well as a simple stitched scallop. I separated the two with a piece of pink crochet thread tied into a bow. I stamped my sentiment along the bottom of my card and popped up my image with some foam tape. I completed my card with some Nuvo Drops, stickles and doodles with a white gel pen.

Copic Colors Used:
--Skin: E50, E51, E21--
--Dress: BG11, BG32, BG34--
--Shoes: C3--

Whimsical Wishes

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous weekend!
Today I have a sweet slimline card to share with you that I created using some dies from Hello Bluebird along with a stamp from Whimsy Stamps.

I had so much fun making this! I started by using the Fairy Glade Scene Vertical Die from Hello Bluebird and cutting it out multiple times, using different colors of scrap cardstock. Once I had my pieces cut out, I inked along some of the edges for a bit of dimension and then layered them onto my card front. Once I had my scene set, I stamped that adorable little fairy from Whimsy stamps called Fairy Dreams and colored her with my Copic markers. Once I had her colored in, I fussy cut her out and added some sparkles to her dress with a white gel pen. I used some liquid glue to adhere the bottom half of her to the top of the mushroom and added some foam tape to her wings so that they popped out just a bit. I added some white doodles with a white gel pen, white Nuvo drops to the mushroom and some glitter accents to the flowers and grass. I completed my card by stamping my greeting with black ink, using a banner die to cut it out, and adhering it to the bottom with foam tape.  Really quite simple even though it doesn't look like it. Gotta love that!

Copic Colors Used:
--Skin: E50, E51, E21, R20, R00--
--Hair: E31, E34, E35, E37, YG03--

Smoking Hot Birthday!

Hi everyone!
I hope your week is going fabulously so far! At least the weekend isn't too far off  :)

I was able to create a super fun card to add to my birthday stash.
I am always in need to stocking that up. Are you able to keep your birthday stash stocked?
Here is a look at what I created:

Isn't that little Viking adorable? I think she and her little Dragon sidekick are too cute for words!!
I printed out my image onto some Hammermill Digital Copy paper and colored everything with my Copic markers. Once I had everything colored the way I liked it, I used a circle die to cut it out. I built my card front by adding some coordinating patterned paper, along with a couple strips of cardstock, at an angle onto my Kraft cardbase. I then popped up my image onto my card with some foam tape and trimmed off the left edge so that it was flush with my card front. I added my sentiment onto a piece of green cardstock, flagged the bottom edge, tied a black bow and added it with foam tape to the top right corner. I completed my card with some doodles, along with some stickles and glossy accents.

So cute!

Floral Happy Birthday

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday!
Today I would like to share a pretty birthday card that I made.
I love all things cute-sy but sometimes I just want to make something pretty and feminine and the Pretty Postage stamp from Honey Bee Stamps was perfect for just that!

Here is a look at the simple card that I made:

I started by stamping my image onto a piece of white Neenah cardstock and coloring it with my Copic markers. I added a bit of stitched doodling around the perimeter with a black Micron Pen before adding a strip of black and white striped paper to the left side. I added a yellow twine bow and then adhered my panel onto a white card base. I added a sentiment using one of the sentiments from the Send Happiness strips from SSS and popped it up with a little foam tape. I completed my card with some sequins & Nuvo drops.

Super easy to make but I absolutely love how this turned out!

Copic Colors Used:
**Envelope: C00, C0**

**Hearts: RV55, RV17**

Happy Birthday!

Hello everyone!
I hope your day is off to an amazing start!
I wanted to pop in real quick and share the card that I made for my daughter's birthday. We won't get into how old she is cause then I just feel way too old lol! I will say that she has turned into a remarkable young lady that we are extremely proud of. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Anywho, onto the card! When I saw these mice that MFT release recently, I knew I needed them in my life!
I mean, look at how cute they are!

I have been wanting to create a mini slimline card and the little scene I wanted to create was the perfect time to give a mini slimline a try! I started by creating my card base (3" x 6.5"once folded) from some white cardstock, inked up the bottom portion for the floor and used a brick stencil and some light ink to create my wall. I colored all my mice, banners, cupcake and the crates with my Copic markers and then cut out the images with my Scan N Cut. I layered all the pieces onto my card front, adding some with foam tape for a bit of dimension. I stamped my greeting and used a word die to cut it out, tucking it slightly behind my little mouse. I completed my card with some stickles and some white gel pen details. I placed my card into a regular slimline envelope, so that the pieces that were hanging off weren't an issue, and hand delivered it 🥳

Copic Markers Used:
**Mice: W0, W1, W3, R000, R00, 110**
**Hats/Bow Ties/ Balloon: R81, R83, BG10, BG11**
**Crate: E33, E35, E37**
**Banner: R81, R83, YG17, YG05, BG11, BG10**
**Cupcake & Stand: B0000, B000, R81, E40, E50, YR30, Y000**
