Hippo Birthday!

Hi friends!
I hope are having a fabulous day!

Today starts a new challenge over at the

#408 Birthdays!

Can never have too many birthday cards right?
At least those are the cards that I seem to go through the fastest.

Here is a look at the card I created:

To create my card, I started by creating a A2 card base from some white cardstock. I used some stitched dies to cut out my patterned paper pieces and adhered them to my card base, making sure to add my twine before I glued everything down. I stamped my images with some black memento ink and did a bit of simple coloring with my Copic markers. I used a circle die to cut it out, along with the gray circle, and popped it up onto my card front with some foam tape. I added my sentiment and popped it up with more foam tape before finishing my card with a little bow. Easy Peasy!

Isn't that little hippo adorable?

Copic Colors Used:
**Hippo: N0, N1, N2, R11, R00**
**Bird: B0000, B00, B01, YR61**
**Hat/Balloon: Y11, Y13, YG05, YG03, RV55**
**Water/Grass: B00, B01, YG01, YG03, YG05**

Hello Sweet Friend!

 Hi everyone and happy Saturday!

Today marks the midway point in the challenge for the
The challenge theme for June is
Anything Goes with the option of Fussy & Fancy.

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I kept my card pretty simple since my stamp is on the larger side plus it is so adorable that I really wanted to keep the focus on the image. I used the Sweet Day stamp from Penny Black and colored in my image with Copic Markers. I added a very simple background by adding some grass and lightly coloring in the background to mimic a sky. I stamped my greeting into the bottom corner and then adhered my image panel to my card base. To finish my card, I used a couple of stitched rectangle dies to create a frame and cut them out many times in white and once in red patterned paper. I adhered them all together to add some dimension, added some thin red thread and glued it onto my card front.

So simple but I'm very pleased with it :)

Copic Colors Used:
**Skin: E50, E51, E21, E11, R20**
**Hair: E31, E33, E35, E37, E39**
**Shoes/Dress: C00, C0, R20, R32, R14**

Aloha!

Hi crafty friends!
I hope this is finding you well and enjoying your Summer!
We have had super hot and humid days so far in my area and it is only the beginning of June!
Warm weather really makes me think about beach days though so I decided to play around with some dies and make a card inspired by the beach.

Here is a look at what I created:

I started by creating my Sunrise panel by blending together some oxide inks in the colors, Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Worn Lipstick. I used the card Mat Dies from Jaded Blossom to cut it out so I would have some stitching around the perimeter. I used the card mat dies again to cut out my Kraft and Blue cardstock so everything would line up on the sides and then used the Tropical Dies (also from JB) for the top of the Sand and Waves. I adhered that panel to a white cardbase and started building my adorable Tiki Bar! I used the Tiki Hut Dies to build my bar and popped it up onto my card with foam tape. I decided some seagulls would be needed so I pulled out a stamp set from Lawn Fawn and stamped just a few for a little visual interest. I added my die cut greeting to the bar along with a tropical flower to the bottom and a few sequins to complete my card.

I love how this turned out and since the entire card (almost) was mainly die cutting, it actually came together rather quickly, gotta love that!

I will be entering my card into the following challenges:

Merry & Bright

Hi crafty friends and welcome to my blog!
I have some exciting news to share with you all today!
I have joined the Addicted To Stamps and More Design Team!

Addicted To Stamps and More is a fun biweekly challenge blog that I have enjoyed playing along with and I am so happy to be a part of the team! Yay!!

Today starts a new challenge and it is.....
#407 Christmas!

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I started by creating my sentiment first. I stamped my greeting from MFT and colored in the wording, trying to achieve a Ombre effect, and then framed it with a Square Scalloped Frame Die, also from MFT. I popped it up onto my square card front with foam tape, making sure to add my little bow first. Next, I colored that sweet little reindeer with my Copics and used the coordinating die to cut him out. I added him to the bottom right corner with more foam tape. I completed my card by adding some glossy accents to his little nose, hoofs, bell and the string of lights.

I just love these little Reindeer from Mama Elephant and try to use them as much as I can lol!
Since this card was so simple to make, it would be very easy to mass produce for the holidays. Gotta love that! Not to mention, it is just so cute!!!

Copic Colors Used:
**Sentiment: R27, R29, R59**
**Deer: E40, E41, E44, C6, C8, R29**
**Light: R27, B01, R83, YG05**

Sweet Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone and happy Saturday!
I'm so excited to be a guest designer for the

The theme for the month of June is:

"Anything Goes"
or
"Fussy & Fancy"

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I have had this stamp set called "Lolly" in my stash for a few months now and never used her until now! I finally got her inky...Yay!! I'm not sure why but she reminds me a tiny bit of those older Holly Hobbie characters so I thought it would be fun to try and make a card with a touch of country charm. I picked out some patterned papers that I thought would work and die cut them out with a Scallop Rectangle. I used a eyelet border punch for my Red paper and added that to my patterned paper piece. I added some hemp cording, inked around all the paper edges and popped up my panel with foam tape onto my blue cardbase. I colored that adorable image with my Copic markers & die cut her out using a stitched Oval die. I didn't have a scalloped Oval die that would line up properly so I used a circle hole punch. I punched out a bunch of circles from the blue cardstock and glued them to the backside of my oval piece to create a Scallop frame. I added some glitter to my lollipop and some little red adhesive pearls to the top corner. I stamped my sentiment, attached it to my twine with a big bow and called my card done! I think it turned out so cute!!

Copic Colors Used:
**Skin: E50, E51, E21, R20, R00**
**Hair: E42, E44, E47**
**Flower: YG61, YG63, YG67, Y18, R27, R4. R39**
**Lollipop: R27, R39, R59**
**Dress: B21, B34, B37, R24, R27**
**Shoes: C4, C6, C10**
