A Happy Hippo Birthday !

 Hi crafty friends!

I hope you are having a fabulous day!
I'm so excited today to be a guest designer for Digi Doodle Studios!

Digi Doodle Studios is a digi stamp company that has some of the cutest images!! They even have a monthly challenge blog that you can find HERE.  There is so much versatility with how big or small you want your image to be with digital stamps, not to mention the storage space saved in my shrinking craft room lol!

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

How cute is this little Hippo?? Seriously makes me smile!
My card was fairly simple to make. I started with a white A2 cardbase and covered it with some patterned papers from Echo Park. I die cut a white stitched scallop and added that on top of the patterned paper along with a thin strip of coordinating teal cardstock. Next, I cut a piece of white cardstock and embossed it using a polka dot embossing folder. I adhered it to a dark pink piece of cardstock before adding it to my card front. Next came that adorable image from Digi Doodle Studios called, Hadley Hippo's Happy Wishes! I printed it out onto a piece of Hammermill cardstock and used my COPIC markers to color her. I stamped my sentiment onto the banner before fussy cutting her out. I popped her onto my card front with foam tape for some added dimension. I completed my card with a little tiny pink bow. Super duper cute!!

Copic Colors Used:
--Hippo: T0, T2, T4, R20, R00--
--Shirt: R81, R83, R85--
--Yellow Balloon: Y11, Y13, Y15--
--Green Balloon: YG01, YG03, YG05--
--Blue Balloon: BG10, BG11, BG32--
--Banner: RV000, RV00--

Thinking Of You

Hi crafty friends and happy happy Friday!!!
Any fun plans this weekend?
I'm not quite sure what we are doing yet but I'm sure we will find something lol!

Today is NEW RELEASE day at Ink N Splatter!!!
Oh my goodness! All the new stamp sets in this release are so incredibly cute and the papers....😍
You can see the new release, in it's entirety, at the Ink N Splatter Store Website and examples from the team on the Ink N Splatter Blog.

Here is a look at the card that I created using one of the new clear stamp sets titled,

How sweet are those little bears???
I had so much fun creating this card! I started by creating a white A2 cardbase and covering it with some heart patterned paper from the new 6x6 paper pad, Painted Crush. Next, I cut out a postage stamp using a die and some light pink cardstock and popped it up onto my card base with foam tape. I used some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp out the bears and butterflies from the Beary Secret Crush stamp set and colored them in with my COPIC markers. I love the Gingham prints in the Pattern Crush 6x6 paper pad so I stamped the image again so that I could paper piece her sweet little dress and bow. Once I had everything colored the way I liked, I used the Beary Secret Crush Craft Dies and cut them all out. I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to fit inside my postage stamp, stamped my greeting and added some soft pink thread & adhered it to my card front. I popped up those sweet images with foam tape, added a bit of glossy accents to the noses and hearts and my card was complete!
Absolutely adorable!!

COPIC colors used:
**Girl Bear: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, R20, R00**
**Boy Bear: E31, E33, E35, E37, R20, R00, B41, B45**

Happy Birthday Gnomie!

Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having a fabulous day!

Today I am sharing a fun birthday themed card that I created using a clear stamp set from Ink N Splatter titled, Party Gnome Celebration.

Fun right? I started by creating my card base from some Cilantro green cardstock and adhered a piece of Blue Jay cardstock on top. I die cut a frame from some patterned paper using a metal die and placed it over my blue panel. I used my Cricut to cut out my sentiment and popped it up onto my card with some foam tape.  I colored that adorable little Party Gnome with my COPIC markers and used the coordinating die to cut him out & placed him on my card with more foam tape. I decided I wanted a few more balloons so I stamped the image again, used the dies and trimmed away the parts I didn't want with scissors and placed them on the opposite side of the card. I completed my card with a few sequins and Nuvo drops. Adorable!

Copics Used:
**Skin: E000, E00**
**Hair: T0, T2, T4, T6**
**Outfit: B21, B24, B26, C00**
**Boots: T4, T6**
**Balloons: B00, B000, YG01, YG00**

Warm Friendships

 Hi crafty friends!

I hope you are all doing well and staying nice and warm!

Today I am sharing a friendship themed card that I created using a new clear stamp set from Ink N Splatter titled, Winter Holiday Penguins.

For this card, I started with a white A2 cardbase and layered it with some plaid and some polka dot papers from the Winter Plaids & Patterns 6x6 Paper Pad. I die cut a circle from some white glitter cardstock & layered a white die cut circle on top. I cut off a piece to form a straight edge before adhering my circles to my card front. I colored those adorable penguins from the Winter Holidays Penguins stamp set with my Copic markers and used to coordinating dies to cut them out. I popped them up onto my circle with foam tape and added my sentiment underneath them with more foam tape. I die cut some large snowflakes from some of the white glitter cardstock and added some snowflake sequins and white Nuvo drops to finish my card. Aren't those little penguins the cutest? I think they are so adorable and my card is so sparkly in person. I'm sorry I couldn't capture that.

Copics Used:
--Penguins: C2, C4, C6, YR14, YR18, R20, C000, C0, C1--
--Purples: V000, V01, V12, V15--

If Kisses Were Snowflakes...

Hi friends!
 Happy February!
I hope you are all doing well!

Since it is the first of the month, it is time for a new challenge at

Here is a look at the photo inspiration for this month:

The picture is for inspirational purposes so if the picture doesn't strike your fancy, you can enter a WINTER themed project. The picture is purely optional.

Here is a look at the card that I created:

How cute is that little snowman! He just makes me smile so much! I was inspired by the pop of red against the snow in the inspiration photo and this card just fell into place. I started by using some glittery texture paste and a snowflake stencil to create some background paper. While that was drying, I stamped my little snowman and colored him with my Copic markers. I stamped my sentiment onto a smaller piece of cardstock and lightly inked around the perimeter with some Stormy Sky Distress Ink. I adhered it to a piece of red patterned paper, that I die cut out using a postage frame die. I wrapped some thread around, tying it off with a bow, and added it to my snowflake background. I did some more inking around the perimeter before adding the entire panel to a white card base. I completed my card by adding my little snowman along with some snowflake sequins and Nuvo drops. I think it turned out so cute!!

Copics Used:
--Snowman: B0000, B000, YR14, YR16, E35, R20, R00--
--Hat & Scarf: R56, R29, R27, R24, C00, C0, C2--
