Birthday Fishes!

Hi everyone!
I hope your day is off to a great start!

Today I am sharing a fun summer birthday card that I created using a fabulous image from

Isn't she pretty?
I started by covering my card base with some bright patterned paper from Doodlebug. I used a scallop rectangle die to cut a piece of light purple cardstock, added a strip of patterned paper, added some twine and adhered that panel to my card base. I printed out Amatheia onto a piece of white Hammermill paper and colored it with my Copic markers. Once I had her colored, I used a stitched oval die to cut her out. I popped her up with foam tape and added some glossy accents to the bubbles. I finished my card by adding some little white pearls to the corners.

Copic Colors Used:
--Skin: E50, E51, E21, R20, R83--

Groovy Birthday

Hi everyone and happy happy Friday!
Almost the weekend! Yay!

Today I am sharing a card that I made with the one of the new images released this month from

For my card, I used the new image called, Festival Boy.
I wanted my card to have a 1970's color vibe so I covered a Kraft card base with some striped paper along with some orange rectangles. I printed my image out onto some white Hammermill paper and colored him in with my Copic markers. Once I had him colored, I trimmed out my image to fit inside a yellow rectangle. I wrapped some twine around and adhered it to my card front with some foam tape. I used the Carley font on my computer to generate my greeting, trimmed it out and added it to my card opposite the bow. I think he is so adorable and so very groovy! lol!

Coffee With My Gnomie

 Hi everyone!

I hope your day is off to a fabulous start!
Today I have a fun card to share with you that I made using some brand new products that are getting released today from Ink N Splatter!

July is all about some coffee loving Gnomes!

Here is a look at the card that I created:

This was a fun one to make! I started by creating my card base from some white cardstock and covering it with some striped paper from the new Mocha Latte 6x6 Paper Pad. I added a red strip of cardstock and some twine to one side. I cut a large mushroom out using my Cricut and added it to a piece of white cardstock. I stamped my greeting onto a piece of green cardstock, used a grass die to cut it out and added it to my mushroom. I stamped those adorable gnomes from the Gnome-A-Latte stamp set and colored them with my Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies and glued them to my mushroom panel. I popped my panel up with foam tape and added a few white Nuvo drops to my mushroom and my card was complete! Aren't those little gnomes the cutest?

Copic Colors Used:
--Skin: E50, E51, E21, R20--

How Lucky I Am...

Hi crafty friends and happy happy Friday!!
I have some exciting news to share!
I'm now a part of the All Dressed Up Design Team!!
Yay!!
I just adore all of the super cute images and am so excited to color up some of these sweeties and share them with you!

Today starts a new challenge over at the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog and they are always anything goes as long as you use a All Dressed Up image.

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

I wanted to play with the image called, 3 Little Summer Girls for my card. The image is actually a group of 3 little girls but you also get each girl individually so I paired two of them together to create my scene. Once I had the two girls how I wanted them, I printed them out onto some white hammermill cardstock and colored them in with my Copic markers. I added a very basic beach by coloring where I wanted the sand and the ocean to be, as well as some light clouds in the sky. I added some white paint with a stipple brush for the white caps on the ocean waves, but my camera did not pick those or the clouds up very well :(
Once I had my scene colored, I stamped my greeting and used a stitched oval die to cut my image out. I added some pretty papers and a sheer bow to a white card base and then popped up my image panel with foam tape. I completed my card with a few little pearls in the corners of my card and some little doodles with a white gel pen onto the pink outfit.

Copic Colors Used:
--Sand: E40, E41, E43, E33--
--Water: BG0000, BG000, BG01--
--Sky: BG0000--
Girl #1 (pink):
--Skin: E50, E51, E21, R20--

Thanks For Keeping Me Afloat!

 Hi everyone!
I hope your day is off to a great start!

Today I am sharing a fun card that I created using a new image from

How cute is this little guy on his shark floatie??
I wanted to create a little scene that appeared as if it was a photograph, kinda like a Polaroid© type of style. At least that was the idea in my head haha!
To create my card, I first started with a white A2 card base & adhered some striped patterned paper on top as well as a strip of orange. I printed Petey onto some white Hammermill Digital Copy paper and colored it in with my Copic markers. Once I had it colored in, I trimmed it out into a square. I outlined the edges with a black marker and then adhered it onto a white rectangle. I stamped my sentiment onto the bottom of my frame and tied some twine around before popping it onto my card with foam tape. I didn't have any enamel dots that matched so I just used a hole punch to punch out 3 circles and added them to the top corner of my card. Once I had them glued down, I simply added glossy accents to give them the appearance of being enamel. Super duper cute!

Copic Colors Used:
--Skin: E51, E11, E33, R20--
--Hair: E31, E34, E35, E37--
--Eyes: C8, G82, G94--
--Shark Float: C00, C0, C2, C4, C5--
--Swim Trunks: YR12, YR14, YR18--

You Are Beary Sweet

Hi everyone!
I hope your day is off to a wonderful start!
Have you heard the news? Ink N Splatter is now hosting monthly challenges in their FB group!!
Yay!!
This month is anything goes using Ink N Splatter stamps with the optional theme of a color challenge.

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I was so inspired by the colors and of course, that adorable little bear from the Sweet Honey Bears Stamp Set. I think she is just so sweet! My card was pretty simple to make. I started by creating a card base from some white cardstock. I layered some gingham paper from the Clucker Club 6x6 Paper Pad with some dark and light pink cardstock and adhered it down the middle of my card front. I die cut some pink circles and added a piece of white embossed cardstock on top. I colored that adorable bear with my Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut her out. I added her to my die cut circles and popped my circle piece up with foam tape. I stamped my sentiment with some Jet Black Lawn Fawn ink, die cut it out using a fishtail die and layered more pink papers behind it before adding that to my card with foam tape. I decided I wanted a little more dimension, so I colored another bow, fussy cut it out and popped it up using foam tape over her existing bow. I love the extra interest that gave to my card!

Copic Colors Used
--Bear: E40, E41, E43, E47, R20--
--Outfit: RV06, RV17, RV09, C00--
--Flower: Y21, Y00, YG03, C00, C0--
