Welcome Little One

Hi everyone!!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Di's Digi Designs Challenge Blog! Yay!
You don't need to use a Di's Digi image or even a digital stamp to enter the challenge though, as long as you follow the theme. You can find more about the rules and requirements on the challenge blog.

The challenge that started today is....
"Anything New"

Here is a look at the project that I created:

Some friends of ours are having a baby this year so as soon as I saw the challenge theme, I immediately thought of their new addition. It's the perfect time to get a card ready to go for when he or she arrives.

I started by creating an A2 card base from white cardstock and die cutting a scallop rectangle using some light green patterned paper. I printed out the "Little Mouse On The Moon" image* from Di's Digital Stamps onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored it with my Copic markers. I printed the image a second time onto a piece of patterned paper so that I could do a little paper piecing on the blanket. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out my image, leaving space at the bottom for my greeting. I wrapped some crochet thread around, tied a little bow and popped up my image panel with foam tape. I added a little sparkle to some of the stars using a clear Wink of Stella pen to complete my card.

I think this turned out so incredibly sweet!

Copic Colors used:
--Mouse: C0, C1, C2, C3, R00, R20--
--Moon/Stars: Y000, Y00, Y11--
--BG000 to outline images--

Rearrange the alphabet...

Hi everyone and happy happy Fri-Yay!!
I hope you are all doing well!

Today I have a super cute (at least I think so) card to share with you that I made to give to
 my hubby for Valentine's Day.

I couldn't resist pairing up this little girl gnome die and sentiment.
I started with an A2 cardbase that I created using white cardstock and doodling around the perimeter. Next, I cut a piece of patterned paper, added more doodling and placed it onto my card front at an angle, cutting off the overhang. I used a scallop die from Jaded Blossom to create my white scallop rectangle and matted a piece of graph patterned paper from Doodlebug on top, with of course more doodling lol! I die cut my little girl gnome from various papers and assembled her popping up her nose with foam tape. I die cut the "U" & "I" using the alphabet dies from JB, attached them to her little hands and popped them up with more foam tape. I stamped my greeting and used a word bubble die to cut it out and placed it onto my card with more foam tape. I completed my card with some enamel shapes from Doodlebug onto the word bubble and hat.
I think this turned out so incredibly cute! I will probably end up giving this to him on a whim, it's too cute to hold onto it until Valentine's day lol!

Sending Love Galentine

Hi everyone!
I hope your day is off to a wonderful start!
It's a bit chilly in my area, so I'm hunkered down in my home crafting.
Sounds like a good day to me :)

Today I am popping in to share a Galentine card that I made.

I created my card based off of an older MFT sketch (posted below). I started by creating my A2 cardbase using white cardstock and covering it with some pretty floral paper from Crate Paper. I trimmed down another piece of the patterned paper in the collection to create my tag shape and added a little hole protector using a small scrap. I popped it up onto my card with foam tape and added some black crochet thread, tying it into a bow. I stamped one of the penguin images from Sunny Studio's Passionate Penguins stamp set, and colored it with my Copic markers. I fussy cut it out and popped it up onto my card with more foam tape. I added little bows to each penguin and placed the sentiment underneath the envelope. I finished off my card with some hearts and doodling.
I think this turned out so adorable, I just adore these little penguins!

Copic Colors Used:
--Envelope: C00, C0--
--Penguins: C0, C1, C3, C4, C5, C6, YR24, R20, R00, R81, R85--

Coldest of Days

 Hi everyone!!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!

Celebrate Winter

Here is a look at the project that I created:

To create my card, I started with an A2 cardbase that I created using white cardstock. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out some patterned paper and adhered that to the card front. I die cut my snowy background paper using a scalloped rectangle and adhered that as well. I printed out the Izzy's Snowy Day image from Di's Digi Stamps onto some white Hammermill cardstock and colored it with my Copic markers. I printed the image a second time so that I could do a bit of paper piecing on the umbrella for a little visual interest. I stamped my sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock and added that to my card towards the bottom. I fussy cut my image out and popped it up with some foam tape. I completed my card with a few snowflake sequins and white Nuvo drops.

Copic Colors Used:
--Skin: E50, E51, E21, R20, R00--
--Hair: E31, E33, E34--
--Coat/Tights/Mittens: C0, C1, V12, V000--
--Bear with Envelope: C0, C1, B21, B23, R20--
--Bear with Scarf: C1, C1, BG10, BG23, R20--
--Boots: E34, E37--
--Umbrella Handle: E87--
