Holiday Cheer

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

It's my day to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog
and I created a fun and adorable Christmas card to share with you today.

Super cute right?

Here's how I made it:
I started by creating a scallop rectangle from some white cardstock and the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 and adhering it to an A2 card base. I used the Rectangle Dies 2 to cut out a piece of patterned paper to place inside my scallop piece & the Stitched Oval Dies to cut a oval. I used a dotted embossing folder to emboss my oval before adhering it. I built my little elf by using the following stamps and dies: Girl Gnome Dies, Gnome Dies: Girl Gnome Face Add Ons, Gnome Faces, Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 2 and the Gnome Dies: Hot Cocoa Add Ons and then glued her to my oval. I stamped my sentiment using the Gingerbread Brewed stamp set, cut it out using the Mini Tag Dies 3 and popped it up with foam tape under my little Elf. I added some snowflakes from the Winter Banner Dies, along with a few snowflake sequins and white Nuvo Drops to complete my card.

I think this came out so cute!!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Jaded Blossom's November Release Blog Hop!

Hey Everyone!
I'm the first stop, so if you're here from the Jaded Blossom Blog you're in the right place. If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.  I will also have the complete line up at the bottom.

Here is what I made:

I love to make small little gifts to have on hand during the holidays so I could not resist to make a fun little goody using these new stamps and dies!

I started by using the Gable Box Die and some red cardstock to create my box. I cut off the handle from the front side so that I could have the back larger for my sentiment. I added a piece of dotted patterned paper to the front and added my little ginger girl that I created using the Gnome Friends: Gingerbread Die, Gingerbread Faces & the Gnome Dies: Hot Cocoa Add Ons (candy cane). I used the Border Dies to cut out some scallops from white cardstock and added them to the 3 open sides of the box. I stamped my sentiment using the Gingerbread Brewed stamp set and cut it out using the Label Shape Dies 1. I added that to the front of my box and then die cut another matching shape to adhere to the back to finish covering the hole. I created a double bow using the Bow Dies and added a little gingerbread from the Gingerbread Embellishment Cluster  to the center.

I think this is so cute and I love all the dimension!

I added a gingerbread cookie and some chocolate kisses to the inside. I think this will be a cute little gift to give to a mail carrier, nail tech, hair stylist, etc.

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

To create my card, I cut a piece of white cardstock out using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 and layered a piece of blue patterned paper on top that I cut out using the Rectangle Dies 2. I then popped that up onto a white A2 cardbase with foam tape and started building my gingerbread house. I used the Gingerbread House Die to build my house, popping up some of the pieces with foam tape for dimension & adding some glitter onto the gumdrops for a little sparkle. I stamped my sentiment from the Gingerbread Brewed stamp set onto a piece of white cardstock and then cut it out using the Mini Tag Dies 3. I popped up the sentiment with foam tape under my house and added some little red enamel hearts to complete my card.

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

To make my card, I die cut some dotted patterned paper out using the Card Mat Dies. I used the Card Mat Dies again to cut out a piece of striped patterned paper. Once I had the striped paper cut out, I used the Border Dies to create a scallop edge along one side. I added that to my dotted paper, wrapped some cording around and popped it all up onto a red A2 card base with foam tape. I used the Gingerbread Mug Die and the Gingerbread Faces to create that adorable little mug, adding him to the front of my card. I stamped my sentiment using the Gingerbread Brewed stamp set, cut it out using the coordinating dies and popped it up with foam tape underneath my mug. I created some little gumdrops by using the Gingerbread Embellishment Cluster & adding some glitter to the tops. I placed them on each side of my mug and my card was done!

Simple but oh so cute!!

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

Aren't these little gingerbreads the cutest??
Here's how I made my card:
I started by covering a white A2 card base with some pink patterned paper. I added a strip of white cardstock down the center and then layered a piece of red patterned paper, cut out using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2, on top. I built my Gingerbreads using the Gnome Friends: Gingerbread Die and added them to the front of my card. I stamped my sentiment from the Gingerbread Brewed Stamp set, cut it out using the coordinating Gingerbread Brewed Outline Dies and popped it up with some foam tape. I finished my card with some glittered hearts cut out using the Banner Dies & Embellishment Clusters Die, along with a few white Nuvo drops.

So cute!
I wish I could have captured all the sparkle on the hearts. I love sparkle! lol!

Gobble Gobble

Hi everyone & happy November!!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom blog!!
This month is Anything Goes!!
We would love to see your projects that use some of those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps/dies!

Challenge Guidelines:
1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back linking
2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp, die, or stencil somewhere on it.
3) Only one entry per person

Here is a look at the card that I created for the challenge:

I created a Thanksgiving themed card to send to my mom.
I started by creating an A2 card using some Kraft cardstock and layered some white cardstock and green patterned paper on top. I added a little bit of doodling and then got to work creating my Tom the Turkey. I used the Octagon Dies: Turkey Add Ons and created the turkey using some Kraft cardstock, some Doodlebug Designs patterned papers and a couple of black enamel dots. Once I had him built, I added a little crochet thread bow and glued him to my card. I thought it would be cute if he was holding a sign, so I stamped my sentiment from the Gobble Gobble stamp set and used the Fall Dies to cut it out. The Gobble Gobble stamp set is currently sold out, but be sure to sign up to be notified when it gets restocked if it is something you are interested in. Once I had my sign built, I popped it up with foam tape and then cut out another one of the Turkey wings so that I could trim off a small corner and adhere it so that looked like his hand was holding the sign. I finished my card by adding some leaves and a pumpkin from the Fall Dies and a few white Nuvo Drops.

I think this turned out so fun! I think my mom will get a kick out of it when she sees it :)

Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom blog to see what the rest of the DT made, they never disappoint!
I hope you will play along, I would love to see what you make!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!
