Jaded Blossom's December Release Hop!

Hey Everyone!
If you're here from Cynthia's Blog , you're in the right place.
If you're just passing through, be sure to start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.
I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

Here is what I made:

I chuckled every time I read that sentiment in the Penguin Kisses stamp set so I kinda centered my project around that :) I thought a goody bag would be cute so I used the Goody Bag Die and some white cardstock to build my little bag and set it aside to build my scene. I used the layering piece that comes with the Goody Bag Die to cut out a piece of patterned paper to build my scene on. For my hill, I used the Border Dies 2 and some white glitter cardstock. I created my penguin using the Gnome Friends: Penguin Die, Penguin Faces and the Gnome Dies: Birthday Add Ons for the balloon. Once I had my scene built, I adhered it to the front of my Goody Bag. I added some snowflakes from the Winter Embellishment Cluster Die along with a few white Nuvo Drops. I stamped my sentiment from the Penguin Kisses, used the coordinating Penguin Kisses Outline Dies to cut it out and popped it up under my penguin. I punched a hole on each side of the bag and used some wired tinsel to create the handle.

Inside I placed some paper shred, a gift card and some chocolates that I decorated using the Candy Wrap Dies and Winter Embellishment Cluster Die.

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

I just can't get enough of these adorable penguins!
To make my card, I actually started with the Winter Sparkle Stencil. I used the stencil and some white embossing paste to create my background onto a piece of light blue cardstock. While the embossing paste was wet, I sprinkled a light dusting of glitter on the top so that it could dry onto the embossing paste and not come off so easily. I set that aside to dry and started building my little penguin, using the following products: Gnome Friends: Penguin Die, Penguin Faces and the heart from the Banner Dies. Once my background was dry, I cut it down and placed it onto a white A2 cardbase. I built some little snow hills using the Border Dies 2 and some white glitter cardstock. I built my lamp using the Street Lamp Die and the Street Lamp Die: Winter Add Ons, tucking it between the snowy hills. I added a frame from the Rectangle Internal Scallops and added my little penguin to the card. I stamped my greeting from the Penguin Kisses & used the Penguin Kisses Outline Dies to cut it out and popped it up with some foam tape. So cute!

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today...

Penguins!!! Oh my stars!!

I started my card by creating my A2 cardbase using some red cardstock. I cut out a piece of white cardstock using the Rectangle Dies 2, did some doodling around the perimeter and adhered it to my base. I placed my card into my Misti & stamped my sentiment using the Penguin Kisses stamp set with Versafine ink. I built my little penguin using the Gnome Friends: Penguin Die, along with a puffy sticker for the gift, and added him below my sentiment. I layered some patterned papers together and used the Border Dies to create a scallop along one edge, wrapped some twine around and adhered that strip to the left side of my card. I finished my card with a few dot and star puffy stickers.

From Our Gnome to Yours...

Hi everyone & happy December!!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom blog!!
This month is all about Shaker Cards!!
We would love to see your project that uses some of those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps/dies!

Challenge Guidelines:
1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back linking
2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp, die, or stencil somewhere on it.
3) Only one entry per person

Here is a look at the card that I created for the challenge:

I'm still in need of Christmas cards (eek!!) so this was the perfect time to create a fun and festive shaker!
I started by covering an A2 cardbase with some green patterned paper. I cut out a few scallop frames using the Rectangle Internal Scallops, stacking them together for a little stability and depth. I added a sheet of acetate and added another scallop frame using some white glitter cardstock. I flipped it over, filled it with some sequins and clay bits before adding a piece of patterned paper to the back to seal it up. I adhered it to the front of my card and built my little tag by using the Treat Tag Die, Gnome For Christmas Stamp Set and the Bow Dies. I glued that to the center of my shaker window and Voila!

I think shaker cards are so fun!
