Lucky Vibes!

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

It's my day to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog
and I created a St. Patrick's Day themed card to share with you today.

To create my card, I started by creating a white A2 cardbase and adding a yellow layer that I cut out using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 on top. Next I used the Window Card Mat Die and cut it out of some white cardstock, as well as 2 different patterned papers. I added the white frame on top of my yellow scallop panel and filled in the windows with the patterned papers. I used the Octagon Dies to cut out a piece of Vellum and then heat embossed my sentiment, from the Lucky Vibes stamp set, with some black embossing powder. I built my pot of gold using the Gnome Dies: Pot Of Gold Add Ons and added it above my sentiment. I was able to hide some foam tape behind the pot so that my Vellum piece could be raised up off of my card front for a little dimension. I completed my card by adding a little four leaf clover that I cut out using the Build A Booth: Clover Add Ons and a little green enamel heart.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Jaded Blossom's March Challenge!

Hi everyone & happy March!!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom blog!!
This month is.....Anything Goes!
We would love to see your projects that use some of those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps/dies!

Challenge Guidelines:
1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back linking
2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp, die, or stencil somewhere on it.
3) Only one entry per person

For my project, I could not resist making a fun little bag to hold some yummy candy for the upcoming
St. Patrick's Day 🍀

Here is how I made it....
I used the Octagon Treat Box Die and cut out my pieces using some green patterned paper from Doodlebug. Once I had my box pieces cut out, I glued all the sides together to create the box and then set it aside while I worked on my face. I created my face by using the Octagon Treat Box Die (face base) & the Octagon Dies: Christmas Add Ons 1 (Beard, Mustache, Nose, Eyes, Hair and Ears) and then added a little bit of blush for the rosy cheeks. Once I had his little face created, I attached it to the front of my box. I then used the Octagon Dies: Christmas Add Ons 2 for his top hat, adding a buckle and four leaf clover from the Gnome Dies: St. Patrick's Day Add Ons.

I added some paper shred and candy to the inside and my little treat box is ready to go!
I think this turned out so cute!!

Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom blog to see what the rest of the DT made, they never disappoint!
I hope you will play along, I would love to see what you make!
