Get Well Wishes

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

It's my day to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog
and I have a Get Well Soon card to share with you today.

I don't know about your area, but there seems to be a lot of cold and flu cases in my area so I thought I better have a card to have on hand just in case.

I created an A2 cardbase from some white cardstock and covered the front with some dotted patterned paper. I added a strip of blue patterned paper along one side and doodled around the perimeter with a black Micron pen. I used the Stylized Rectangle Dies and cut out a piece of plaid patterned paper and layered it on top of a white Stylized Scallop Rectangle. I popped it up onto my card with some foam tape and started building my little bear. For my bear, I used the Gnome Friends: Bear Die, Bear Faces and the Gnome Dies: Medical Add Ons. Once I had my bear built, I popped her up onto the front of my card and added a little pink bow to her hair. I stamped my sentiment from the Speedy Recovery stamp set, used the Mini Tag Dies 3 to cut it out and tucked one end under my bear. I finished my card with a heart from the Banner Dies, some puffy stickers and a couple of white Nuvo drops.

I'm pretty sure that this cute little bear would make anyone feel better.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Be Mine

 Hi everyone and happy Thursday!!
I hope the day is treating you good so far!

Today I wanted to pop in and share a card that I made with a few challenge in mind.
I will be sure to link them below.

Here is a look at my card...

This is the card that I made to give to my hubby for Valentine's Day so I tried to keep it really simple. Masculine cards are always so hard for me but adding hearts and lovey dovey makes it that much harder haha!! I think he will love it though 💘

I started by creating an A2 card base using some white cardstock. I added some strips of patterned paper so that I had some color as well as somewhere to kind of ground my image. I colored that sweet little Be Mine Anya from The Greeting Farm with my Copic markers and used my Scan N Cut to cut her out. I popped her up onto my card using some foam tape and added a little glossy accents to her hair clip.
I die cut some hearts using the Banner Die & Embellishment Clusters Die from Jaded Blossom, popped them up with more foam tape and added a couple of white Nuvo Drops to finish my card.

Copic Colors Used:
Skin: E50, E51, E21, E04, R20, R00
Hair: E31, E33, E35, E37
Heart: R81, R83, RV00, RV000
Skirt: V01, V12, V15
Shoes: C2, C3, C6

The challenges I would like to play along with are...
A card with at least 1 hearts and a image from TGF

(I was inspired by the theme and the colors)

You've Been Struck....

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

It's my day to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog
and I created a fun little Valentine treat bag to share with you today.

I used some red cardstock and the Gable Box Die to create my box. I decided I wanted to add a bit more to the box itself so I cut some strips of patterned paper and adhered them around the box, making sure to bend the patterned paper as I adhered it. I assembled my box and set it aside while I worked on my image. I stamped the Cupid Gotcha stamp onto a piece of white cardstock and colored it in with my Copic markers. I wanted to add a little depth so I stamped the image again, fussy cut out three of the hearts and popped them up over the original image with some foam tape. I created a little double bow using the Bow Dies, added a heart to the center using the Embellishment Clusters Die and my little bag was done!

So cute!!

Copic Markers Used:
Skin Tone: E50, E51, E21, R00
Hair: E31, E35

Jaded Blossom's Feb Challenge

 Hi everyone & happy February!!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom blog!!
This month is.....Use A Stencil!
We would love to see your projects that use some of those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps/dies!

Challenge Guidelines:
1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back linking
2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp, die, or stencil somewhere on it.
3) Only one entry per person

Here is a look at the card that I created for the challenge:

Here's how I made my card...
I used the Random Hearts Stencil and some Fired Brick Distress Ink to ink up some hearts onto a piece of Kraft Cardstock. Once the ink was dry, I doodled around the perimeter and trimmed it down to fit on top of an A2 Kraft cardbase. I also added some white doodles with a gel pen to a few of the hearts. I used the Mushroom In My Heart stamp set and stamped my image onto a piece of white cardstock using some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I did some simple coloring with my Copic markers and then used the Rectangle Dies 2 to cut out my image. I used the Border Dies to create a little "ribbon" strip and added a bow on top using the Bow Dies. I added a bit more doodling to my white image panel to complete my card. So cute!!

This card was so super easy thanks to the stencil!
It took the need to pick out patterned paper, which seems to take me forever, out of the equation! lol!

Copic Colors Used:
Reds: R24, R27, R29, R39
Earth Tones: E40, E41, E42, E43

Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom blog to see what the rest of the DT made, they never disappoint!
I hope you will play along, I would love to see what you make!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!
