Bee Kind

 Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

It's my day to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog 

and I created a card that would be great for a notecard...no occasion needed.

It's always a good day when the mail has something other than bills or junk mail right?

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I can't get enough of those adorable little bees that were released earlier this month!

 Not to mention, the sentiment from the Bee Kind Stamp set was perfect for the notecard that I wanted to create also! Win Win!

Here's how I made my card....I started with an A2 white cardbase and used the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 to cut out a piece of patterned paper to layer onto the front. I took a piece of notebook themed paper, from the same patterned paper stack, and trimmed it down so that only the stripes were showing and added that to my card over my scallop panel. Next I used the Stitched Arch Dies to cut out a piece of Vellum and some blue patterned paper, adhered them together and glued that to the front of my card. I created some flowers using the Flower Dies and attached them to the bottom left hand corner of my Stitched Arch. I stamped my sentiment from the Bee Kind stamp set and used the coordinating Bee Kind Outline Dies to cut it out, popping it up with some foam tape onto my card front. I completed my card by adding 3 little bees from the Gnome Dies: Beekeeper Add Ons.

I think this turned out so sweet and cute!!

I wanted to pop in real quick and share a card that I created to play along with a couple of challenges.

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I thought this sketch was so neat and could not wait to give it a try. I started by creating my cardbase from some red cardstock and then layering a piece of Kraft cardstock on top. I took some scrap pieces of patterned paper that I had leftover from a patterned paper pad and cut them down to the small squares and layered them onto my Kraft piece, lining them up as straight and evenly as possible.  This adorable little deer from Unity Stamps was the perfect fit! I stamped her onto a piece of white cardstock and colored the image with my Copic markers. I added some doodling around all my squares, and my kraft layer and then added a small little red bow to her antler. I finished my card by adding my sentiment, trimming it down to size and popping it up with some foam tape. 

I think this turned out so cute!!

Jaded Blossom's May Release Blog Hop!

Here is what I made:

I decided to make a fun little goody bag to hold some little treats.

I started by creating my box by using the Handled Gift Box Die and some white cardstock. I layered some patterned papers on top and then assembled my box. I built my little bee by using the Gnome Friends: Honey Bee Die and the Bee Faces and popped her up onto my box with foam tape. I die cut the little honey pot using the Gnome Dies: Beekeeper Add Ons and placed that onto my box as well. I stamped my sentiment using the Bee Kind Stamp set, cut it out using the Label Shape Dies 2 and placed it in between my bee and honey pot with foam tape. I used the Bow Dies to create a fun double bow and added that to my handle. I add a little yellow enamel heart to both the sentiment and the bow to complete my box. 

I added a bit of velcro to the inside of the handle for easy opening and closing of the box. 

I am in love with this release, everything is just so cute!

Beekeepers!! How fun!!

I started by covering my cardbase with some yellow Buffalo check patterned paper, along with a strip of black patterned paper in the middle. I used the Scallop Slider & Topper Die to cut out a piece of yellow patterned paper to act as my focal point for my cute little beekeeper and stamped my sentiment from the Bee Kind stamp set along the bottom. I used the Girl Gnome Dies & the Gnome Dies: Beekeeper Add Ons to create my beekeeper and added her above my sentiment. I added a little bee from the Gnome Dies: Beekeeper Add Ons along with some hearts from the Banner Dies and Embellishment Clusters Die. I finished my card by adding a small little enamel heart to her hat and some glossy accents to the bee hive.

How cool is this Tree Swing??

I created my card by first creating my A2 cardbase from white cardstock and layering a piece of pink patterned paper that I cut out using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 on top. I cut out some cloud patterned paper using the Rectangle Dies 2 & added that to my card. I built my little girl by using the following dies: Girl Gnome Dies, Gnome Dies: Girl Gnome Face Add Ons, Gnome Faces, Gnome Dies: Leg Add Ons, Gnome Dies: Motorcycle Add Ons (arms), and the Gnome Dies: Spring Add Ons (hat). Once I had her built, I placed her onto my swing created with the Tree Swing Die and added it to my card front. I die cut the word Hello using the Hello Gnomie Word Die a few times, stacking them together to get some dimension, and glued it to my card to finish it off. 

I think this turned out so cute!!

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today...

Isn't this little bee just the cutest?? You might even say she is the Bee's Knees lol!!

Anywho, here is how I created this super cute card...

I started by creating a top folding card from some white cardstock and doodled around the entire perimeter with a black Micron pen. I cut a strip of patterned paper, adhered it to the middle and added some yellow scallops that I cut out using the Border Dies to each side. Next, I cut out a Hexagon using the Stitched Hexagons and popped it up onto my card with some foam tape. I built my little bee using the Gnome Friends: Honey Bee Die & the Bee Faces and glued her to my hexagon. I die cut some flowers using the Spring Dies and added them to my card as well. I stamped my sentiment using the Bee Kind stamp set and some Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I cut it out using the Bee Kind Outline Dies and popped it up onto my card front with more foam tape. I completed my card with some Nuvo drops, a little gem in the big floral center and a cute little bow on her head. 

Cute as can Bee!!
