Just Saying Hello with CANDi

Hi everyone!

Happy Thursday!

Today I get to show you another project using that awesome CANDi.

I decided to make a just because card to add to my stash of cards that are ready to go when I need them. I love sending someone a card for no occasion so they know I am thinking of them. :) 

For my card, I simply stamped some flowers onto some white squares. After I colored them, I layered them on top of some pink squares and adhered them to my card base. I then took some Icing Sugar CANDi and colored them yellow to match my ribbon and ahered them with some CANDi Fix to the center of each of my flowers. Icing Sugar CANDi are a must have, in my opinion. You can color them any color you want, if you don't want them white, and coordinate them to match your project perfectly!

Die Cuttin Diva Guest Designer!

I am so excited! I was asked to be a guest designer for 

Die Cuttin' Diva's!!

This week's challenge also just happens to be a sketch challenge, I love those!!

Here is the fabulous sketch:

As you can see, I decided to flip the sketch for my card.

That pretty patterned paper is from the Summer Fresh 6x6 pad by Simple Stories. After I had my white layer and patterned paper adhered onto my card base, I cut my Hello Kitty image out of the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut Cartridge at 2.5". I then adhered her to a mat that I cut out of the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge at 3.5". My mat was then popped up on my card with some foam adhesive. I added a few pearls in the bottom left and top right corners as well as one for both flower centers.

Here is the card that I created that incorporates both challenges:

I cut my soda cup out of the Carousel Cricut Lite cartridge. Before I cut it out, I hid the word "SODA" on the front using CCR so that I would be able to stamp my pun directly onto my die cut. I popped it up with some foam adhesive to give it a little bit more dimension. I added some of The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Jewels (dew drops) in Red in each corner. Pretty simple card but I love how it turned out!

Hi there!
I hope your weekend is off to a fabulous start!

Today I have a card to show you that I made using those fabulous CTMH products
for Dr. Phil Scraps!

For my card, I used some of those fabulous papers from the Chantilly Paper Packet (X7163B) and also some of that gorgeous Black & Grey Glitter Paper (Z1829).

I love the sparkle of that glitter paper!

The little flower came from the Happy Thoughts (C1536) set as well as that super cute banner sentiment!

After I stamped my flower, I ran it through my cuttlebug using a die from spellbinders for my scallop rectangle and layered it on top a glitter rectangle, also cut from the same die set. 

I stamped my flower a second time using a different color ink and hand cut just the top out so I could  layer it on top of the green flower. Then I added a little Pink Glitter Gem (Z1807).

For the sentiment banner, I simply stamped it and then cut it out and popped it up with some foam adhesive.
