MCT 30th Release Blog Hop!

Today I would like to show you a little home decor item that I made that features stamps from the new set titled, Bracket Sentiments

I'm not sure if I am dating myself here, but I was inspired by a picture frame. My mom used to have these picture frames that were in our house that were brass frames and trifolds. I got to thinking about it the other day and thought, I wonder if I can do that with paper? It was really pretty easy. I simply cut my cardstock to 8.5" x 10.5" and then scored at 3.5" & 7" along the vertical and then scored again at 5.5" along the horizontal. I folded the 5.5" score line up to create a flap and then proceeded to fold a trifold along the vertical score lines. Once I had that all folded, I put some score tape on the right and left edge of each flap. The middle pocket has no adhesive since the folds are there to hold the tags in.

I will be putting this on my bedroom dresser, so I thought it would be fun to give it a little mini album feel. I cut out some tags from the Stitched Round Tab, Arrow & Tag Dies set as well as the Tag Dies so that I could put some pictures of me and my hubby on them and then be able to journal on the smaller tags. 

To decorate the front, I used the Rolled Flower die to create the yellow rose. I then used the Curly Label die as well as the Stitched Curly Label Die and then Stamped "You + Me" from the NEW Bracket Sentiments stamp set. I popped it up with some foam adhesive so that I could place some stick pins behind it and finish it off with a bow. For my left panel, I used the largest Stitched Chevy Die and just trimmed off the point to give it a banner feel and then stamped "Funny" and "Silly", also from the Bracket Sentiments stamp set. For the right panel, I did pretty much the same thing, except I cut off the opposite end and stamped "Crazy" & "Fun". I used some hearts from the Stitched Heart Layering Dies as well as some hearts from the Stitched Sweetheart & XOXO Die set. Added some pearls & ribbons and Voila!

I love it and am so happy with how it turned out!

Today we are giving you a sneak peek of 

Fun Gift Pocket Sentiment & Tag Gift Pocket Die

I decided to make a fun little birthday gift:

To make my candy bar holder, I cut out 2 of the trifold cards from the Card Sentiments stamp set w/ 3x3 trifold card die. I cut the bottom panel off of one of the cards, that way the one that was going on the front was shorter. I then scored 1/4" down each side on both cards as well as 1/4" along the bottom of both. Once it was scored, I simply folded along the lines to form a sort of "box" to hold the candy bar. After I adhered it together, I started decorating. I used the NEW Tag Gift Pocket Die so that I could put a gift card onto the front of my box. Isn't that HB2U! the cutest?? That comes from the NEW Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments set!! The balloons and that cute little banner come from an oldie but goodie called, Stitched Party Dies.

Today we are giving you a sneak peek of

"Hello Chickie" & the "Stitched Grass Die"

Here is the card that I made:

I decided to make a Easter card. I'm so ready for spring and all it brings! Flowers blooming, green grass, pastel colors, all of it! I used the *NEW* Stitched Grass Die and cut out my grass 3 different times so that I could layer them for some extra dimension. I then simply tucked my Easter basket from the *New* Hello Chickie set behind the grass and added a couple of eggs. The chocolate bunny was cut out using the small bunny found in the All Around Holidays set. I stamped my sentiment, also from the *NEW* Hello Chickie set,  and then heat embossed it with some pink embossing powder. I cut my cute little bow out of some fun foam using the Small Stitched Scalloped Bow Die.

Here is what I made:

With St. Patrick's Day right around the corner, this set is perfect!!

I decided to make a little Pot Of Gold with some Rolo candies acting as the gold hehe!

I cut my little pot out from a file that I found in the silhouette online store then set to work on embellishing it using those fabulous My Creative Time Products!

I think it came out adorable and I have one St. Patty's Day gift ready to give.

I have a feeling that since it is filled to the brim with candy, my hubby will be calling "dibs" on this one too! lol!

Welcome to Day 1 of the My Creative Time Sneak Peeks for February!!

I'm so glad you stopped by, this release is awesome!!

Today I will be showing you a sneak peek of the

 NEW "Bracket Sentiments" and the NEW "Bracket Dies"

I decided to make some project life sized cards. I have yet to start project life but I am thinking about it lol! I think the size of these cards is not only perfect for project life but also as journaling spots for a mini album, a scrapbook layout or even as an embellishment for a card front. 

I love the fun sayings on the NEW "Bracket Sentiments" stamp set and the brackets from the NEW "Bracket Dies" are super fun!!

For this card, I also wanted to include that adorable little Fun Paper Airplane Die that was released last month.

For this card, I thought it would be cute to add that the little Stitched Camera Die, with a little heart added from the Stitched Sweetheart & XOXO die set.

Now, I have a matching set of journaling spots for when I need them and My Creative Time products made them so easy and so adorable!!
