Stamp Anniething Theme Week Challenge #34

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a marvelous Monday!

Today we are starting a new Theme Week Challenge over at the Stamp Anniething FB group and its a sketch challenge!!! 

Here is a look at the sketch we would like for you to use for inspiration:

Here is a look at the card that I created based on the above sketch:

I started out by covering my card base with some snowflake patterned paper. I stamped my Lucille - What A Deer stamp onto some Copic friendly white cardstock and colored her in. I used a stitched rectangle die from Jaded Blossom to cut her out. I popped her up onto my card base and cut a strip of plaid patterned paper and added that to the bottom. I stamped my greeting, backed it onto a Candy Charms from Jaded Blossom & layered it onto a piece of vellum. I finished my card by adding some doodling with a black pen and some Nuvo drops.

Today we are giving you a look at Santa Paws, Hoppy Holidays and the Handled Gift Box Die.

Here is what I created using the new Handled Gift Box Die along with the Hoppy Holidays stamp set:

I created my Handled Gift Box using some textured red cardstock and added some Holly patterned paper to the front. I colored that sweet little bunny from the Hoppy Holidays stamp set with my Copic markers and used my Scan N Cut 2 to cut her out. I popped her up onto my box with some foam tape for a little dimension. I stamped my greeting, also from Hoppy Holidays, and popped that up with more foam tape. I added a cute little bow from the Bow Dies to the handle and added a bit of holly from the Christmas Banner Dies to the center. So incredibly cute!!!

Got Candy???

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing a fun little Halloween treat box that I made using a file that you can find in the SVG Cutting Files store. 

I used the Angled Side High Box and decorated it with some fun and bright papers from Doodlebug. I also added that cute little Chibi girl, Kelly - You're Purrfect from Stamp Anniething to the front.

The greeting came from the Doodlebug paper stack, I simply trimmed it down a bit. I used the Bow Dies from Jaded Blossom for my bow and finished my box with some enamel dots. 

This box is a pretty good size. Look at how much candy I was able to fit in there!!

Jaded Blossom's October Challenge

Hi everyone!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom blog!!

Can you believe it's October already??

For the month of October we would like for you to create a project based on a sketch. Here's a look at the sketch: 

Here is a look at what I created based on the sketch:

I used the Card Mat Dies and cut out some bright green and orange patterned paper. I layered the orange on top of a black card base and trimmed the green to match the sketch. I added a strip of purple cardstock to the back of the green and a piece of star patterned paper that I cut out using the Card Layer Dies 1 and adhered it to my orange panel. I added a a strip of black and white striped paper along the green and added a scallop circle from the Scallop Circle Dies. I stamped my greeting from the Bewitchy stamp set and used a Stitched Circle Die to cut it out, popping it up with some foam tape. I added some enamel dots and a couple drops of Purple Rain Glitter Nuvo drops and my card was done!! So super easy and the sketch made it even easier!! I love sketches!!

Card Swap With Kimberly!

Happy World Cardmaking Day!!

Today I have a quick post to share a card that I made for a swap with 

Kimberly of  Kimberly's Crafty Spot.

We thought it would be fun to use the same sketch and the same stamp company and see how alike or different our cards ended up being. The stamp company we picked was Gerda Steiner and we picked an older sketch from My Favorite Things #162.

Here is a look at the card I created to send to Kimberly:

I picked the Happy Fall stamp set from Gerda Steiner for my card. I just love the little squirrels in this set! I did a bit of masking to create my little scene and added a sky and grass using some Distress Oxide inks. I colored my squirrel and leaves with my Copic markers and cut it out using a Stitched Circle Die from Jaded Blossom. I set that aside and started layering my card. I started with a Kraft card base and layered some brown patterned paper on top. I used the Scallop Square Dies from Jaded Blossom and cut it from some Kraft card stock. I added a little bit of doodling with a brown pen. I cut some strips of patterned paper, notched the ends and wrapped some hemp cord around the top. I popped that up onto my card and added my little circle with my scene and my card was done. So super cute!!
