Fun Card Folds Birthday Blog Hop!

Happy Saturday!
Welcome to the Fun Card Folds Birthday Blog Hop!

I'm so glad you could join us today!
If you arrived here from Joy's blog
then you are in the right spot.
If you just happened to stumble across the hop today on my blog and would like to start at the beginning, then just hop on over and see Joy at Joy's Life

For my project, I decided to make a "Z" Fold card:

This was my first time making this type of card and I had so much fun making it!
You can find the tutorial that I used to make my card HERE

For the front of my card, I used my Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge and cut out the beehive at 2.5". I then used my drippy goo border punch and punched out a few strips and tucked them under some of the openings in my hive to mimic honey dripping out of the hive. I also added some yellow stickles to them.

Here is a picture of the card opened:

I cut my bee out of the Create A Critter cricut cartridge also. My bee is sized at 3.5". I also popped him up on some foam adhesive. I drew a flight pattern from the hive all the way to the bee.

For my sentiment, I used this super cute greeting that can be found on the
Punny Animals stamp set by Joy's Life:

I thought it was perfect for my cute bee card
and Joy's Stamps always leave such a great clean impression!
You can see all of Joy's Stamps by checking out her store HERE

My card is going to a dear friend for her upcoming birthday so I also decided to make a  little coordinating box with a few candies for her:

I found my 3D Honeycomb Box (#37192) at the Silhouette Online Store. I attached a little bee to the front and drew a flight pattern all the way around the entire box. I wrapped a few nugget candies with coordinating papers and put those inside the box and closed it shut with some white satin ribbon.

Here is a picture of the card and the box together:

What's a blog hop without a little candy?
I am going to give the following prize away to a follower of my blog:
