Hi crafty friends & happy Thursday!
Today over at the My Creative Time blog, it is
Thrifty Thursday!
This is the day where we show you projects made with scraps, leftovers or recycled items.
I have a container where I keep all of my scrap die cuts in. As I was going through it, I came across these balloons and thought they would be perfect for a quick and easy birthday card. You can never have too many of those right?
Everything I used (other than the sequins) was scraps, including my card base! I love when that happens!! I used one of the greetings from the Tag Die Layers and die cut that out of my white layer. I then cut it out again, using a piece of scrap pink cardstock, so that I could inlay the pink letters into the white. My balloon scraps came from the Stitched Party Dies set. I used some white embroidery thread that was left over from another project and just colored it black with a sharpie and then attached them to my balloons. I popped up my balloons with some foam adhesive and then added a few random sequins and voila! A super quick and cute birthday card!
