Happy Sunday!
I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend so far!
Today I have a card to share with you that I made for the Holiday Card Workshop
Day 4.
Day 4 was all about one layer cards. This was a hard day for me. I struggle so much with one layer cards. I always feel like I need to add patterned paper, bling, ribbon, etc. haha! I was so happy when Laura Bassen showed us how to make a pretty little scene. Even though this is a one layer card, I think it looks like it has so much dimension.
I didn't have any scene stencils so I made my own using some My Creative Time products. I cut out some hills using one of the edges from the Fun Stitched Edges dies onto a piece of acetate. I also used some acetate to create a stencil for my trees (Seasonal Greetings), and my heart and star (4x4 Journal Die + More). My sentiment came from the Mixed Holiday Sentiments. After I created my scene and stamped my sentiment, I spritzed the front of my card using some Perfect Pearls mist. I also added just a bit of glossy accents to my heart and stars.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog today!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!
