Shopping Our Stash #263: Silhouettes

Hey everyone and happy Tuesday!!
It's time for a new challenge over at

This week, challenge #263 is....
Silhouettes
Let's see some projects that showcase silhouettes in some way.

Here is the project that I created for this challenge:

I used a scalloped oval die to create a shaped card out of some purple cardstock that I have had for quite a while now. Once I had my card base created, I stamped a floral silhouette from an older SU stamp with a ombre ink pad. The stamp set I have had for about 2 years. The ink pad, just a few months, but I just used it for the first time for this challenge. I stamped my greeting and then used another oval die to cut it out, as well as my vellum layer. I adhered them together and then used some foam tape to pop it up onto my card base. I finished off my card with some sequins and a white satin bow.

Be sure to head over to the Shopping Our Stash Challenge Blog to see what my design team sisters created. I hope you will decide to make a project and join us, I would love to see what you create!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

  3. Hello Stacey: What a lovely card, the scalloped oval shape makes it look like a cameo, just beautiful!! Done in my favorite purple colors, love the sequence details, I too never know where to add sequences but they always look beautiful.
    Hugs,
    Maria.
