We can't wait to see your projects!
Ready to see what I made?
Ready to see what I made?
I decided to make a couple of projects to share with you today.
First up is the card I will be giving to my mom this Mother's Day.
To create my card, I used a piece of shimmery pink cardstock and layered that onto a white A2 cardbase. I used some foam tape and popped up some striped vellum. I placed my blue frame, cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge, to hide the foam tape. The Happy Mother's Day phrase and flowers came from the Mother's Day Phrases cartridge. I added a bit of dimension on my leaves with a green Copic marker and popped up the flowers with more foam tape. I added some pearls, a pretty white satin bow and some shimmer from my wink of stella pen to finish off the card.
I also decided to make a matching little gift bag. I'm not quite sure what I am giving her yet (I still need to go shopping) but I'm sure I can find a little something to go along with her gift to fit in this bag. Maybe some of her favorite candies.
I cut my bag from the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cartridge. I pretty much used the same cuts (Elegant Edges and Mother's Day Phrases) on my bag that I used on my card. The exception is that I only cut out the frame, flowers and the word Mother and a second "M" so that I could put MOM on the front.
Here is a look at both of my projects together:
I think they turned out super pretty and I hope my mom likes them :)
I am also offering up a bit of blog candy of my own.
I would like to give the following to one lucky person who comments on this post.
(DIY Project Stack Favor Boxes, Gold Alphabet Stickers, Ad Tech Adhesive, Gem sheet & baggie of gold sequins)
I will pick a winner from the comments and post the winner here on my blog on May 10, 2017 so be sure to check back to see if you are the winner and claim the prize.
