Today starts a new challenge over at the
Here is a peek at the cookie inspiration photo for this challenge:
I went with the shower aspect for the inspiration of my card and made an encouragement card.
I created my card base out of some light blue cardstock and placed my polka dot postage frame layer on top. I cut out another piece of the light blue cardstock and added my greeting and some grass. I cut out my clouds from some gray cardstock as well as some vellum, wrapped some crochet thread around it, tied a bow and popped it up with some foam tape. I colored and paper pieced my image, fussy cut it out and added it to my card. I finished it off with some glossy accents "raindrops" in a few spots.
