Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge!

Challenge #304-Patriotism
Make a project about patriotism in any country!

This Weeks Sponsor

Dreaming Tree SVG's

The winner will receive a $20 Gift Certificate!

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!

Here is my project-

I kept my card pretty simple so that awesome greeting could be the star of the show. I made an A2 card base from some dark blue cardstock. I layered a piece of white cardstock on top that I embossed with my Swiss dots embossing folder. I also wrapped it with ribbon before I adhered it to my card base. I cut out that awesome saying from the Independence Day - Freedom Cricut cartridge and sized it to where it covered the majority of my card front. I added a bow to my ribbon and the card was pretty much done. I love how it turned out! Being a military family, I love all things patriotic!

Be sure to stop by the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog to see the projects that my design team sisters created! I hope you will power up that Cricut and make a Patriotic project for the challenge! I would love to see what you create!

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!

I hope you have a great crafty day!!

  2. I love this card! It is perfectly patriotic! Thanks for the suggestion of wrapping the ribbon around the cardstock before placing it on the card. I never know what to do with the ribbon ends, but this makes perfect sense.
Having lived around military bases all of my life I know that the family of a member of the military serves our country as well. Thanks to you and your service member for all you do for the US!
    Happy Fourth of July!
