Our Chemistry Is Explosive!

Hi everyone and happy happy Friday!!
I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend :)
I wanted to stop in real quick today and share a card with you that I made for a couple of challenges.

The challenges that I am playing along with are:
&

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I started with a white card base and covered it with some green patterned paper from MFT, adding a small strip of black cardstock for a little interest. I colored up that sweet little girl from the Cute Chemists stamp set by MFT and popped her up onto my card with some foam tape. I heat embossed my greeting in white onto some black cardstock and added it to the card, tucking it under her feet just a bit. I completed my card with some enamel hearts and Nuvo drops.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I appreciate it so very much!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Birthdays Blow!

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday!
Today is my day to post over at the Jaded Blossom blog and I decided to make a fun little birthday card that showcases the Monthly Spotlight stamp set for January....I Puff You!

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I created a square card by folding a piece of 5"x 10" white cardstock in half to form a top folding card that measures 5" square. I used the Scallop Square Dies to die cut my orange patterned paper and layered that on top of my card base. Next I used the Triangle Square Mat Die and cut it out twice, once from white cardstock and then again from some wave print patterned paper. I adhered that onto my card base and moved on to that adorable Puffer fish!! I stamped that fish from the I Puff You stamp set onto a piece of white cardstock and did some Copic coloring. I used the Stitched Circle Dies to cut it out and then I very carefully cut along one of his fins. I popped up my image piece with some foam tape and die cut a balloon from the Balloon Dies. I added some string to my balloon and made sure to place it under his fin to give the appearance of him holding it. So cute! I heat embossed my greeting and added some white Nuvo drops to complete my card.

How fun!!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today!
I appreciate it so much!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Messy Hair

Hi everyone and happy happy Monday!
Today starts a new challenge over at the Bitten By The Bug 2 Challenge Blog!
The theme for this challenge is...

Something New!
It can be a new to you technique, product, cut file, etc.

Here is a look at what I created to share with you today:

I have a bin of items that I keep in my craft room of things that I may want to alter when an idea hits me and when I saw this challenge, I knew it would be perfect timing to alter this hat. I bought this hat a couple of months ago (still has the tags on it) on clearance because I loved the soft purple color.  This big wall decal was in the suggested projects list (Messy Hair, Don't Care Decal) when I did a search in Cricut Design Space and I just sized it down to fit a hat, versus a wall lol! I cut it from some white glitter HTV and used the new Easy Press Mini that my hubby got me for Christmas (first time using it...Yay!!). The mini heat press really made this process so easy! I decided to use the shape tool feature to also add a little heart to the brim to complete my hat.

I love it and it is ready to go once the temps get a bit warmer lol!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!!
Be sure to stop by the Bitten By The Bug 2 Challenge Blog to see the creations my DT sisters  created and I hope you will create a project and join us! I would love to see what you create!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Jaded Blossom's January 2020 Release Blog Hop!

Hey Everyone!
Now if you're here from Lareyln's Blog, you're in the right place. If you're just passing through, be sure to start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

Here is a look at what I made to share with you today:

When I saw the Triangle Square Mat Die, I thought it would be neat to try and make a card that had a "quilt" look to it. My great grandmother used to make quilts and I remember how I just loved looking at all the patterns and thought they were the prettiest blankies ever.

I used the Triangle Square Mat Die to cut out my frame from some white cardstock and then I used two different patterned papers to do a little inlay diecutting I stamped my greeting from the Clear Jar stamp set and cut it out using the Label Shape Dies. I popped it up with some foam tape and added a flower and some greenery using the Tropical Flower Dies. I added a little Enamel dot to the center of my flower and added some white Nuvo drops to complete my card.

While I had everything out and was having fun, I decided to go ahead and also make a Thank You card using the same items.

I love how it has a completely different look just by simply using some different patterns, yet they still coordinate since they are from the same paper pack! I love how these turned out!!

While I had the Clear Jar stamp set out, I kept looking at the sentiment that reads, Filled With Love. I thought it would be perfect to make my hubby a little gift and have it sitting at his computer desk when he got home from work as a little surprise. I love doing that!

I used a SVG file from My Scrap Chick to create my little bag. I decorated the front of it with some more fun papers from Doodlebug and stamped my greeting onto a white tag that I cut out using the Treat Tag Die. I doodled a little around the edges with a black sharpie and adhered it to my bag with a bit of foam tape. I added some hearts from the Banner Dies, as well as a couple of enamel hearts and some Nuvo drops. I used the Bow Dies, created a double bow from some plaid paper and glued that to the top of my tag.

I filled up a little jar with some heart shaped candy and my little surprise was done!
He loved it!

Here is a look at the project that I created to share with you today:

I can never have enough birthday cards, especially birthday cards for guys. I seem to struggle with them quite a bit actually but these little mugs of beer screamed manly card to me so I jumped at the chance to make one for my stash. I tried to keep my card pretty simple. I made an A2 card base from some white cardstock and added some patterned paper across the top. I colored my little beer mugs from the Kawaii Foods stamp set with my Copic markers and added a little face to each using the Foodie Faces stamp set. I cut them out and popped them up onto my card front with some foam tape. I stamped my greeting from the Franks A Lot stamp set and used the Mini Tag Dies 3 to cut it out. So super simple but I love it!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Jaded Blossom's January 2020 Release: Day 4!

Hey crafty friends!!
It's day 4 of the Jaded Blossom January Release and we are showing you a really cute stamp set called,

Here is a look at what I created to share with you today:

I created this fun little gift by using the Gable Box Die and cutting it from some Kraft cardstock. I cut off the top flap on the front side to give it a bit of different look. I stamped that fun image from the We're Better Together stamp set, colored it with my Copics and popped it up with some foam tape onto the front of my box. I added a fun little red checked bow by using the Bow Dies and a little button for the center. I added it to the top and my gift was done. So simple and easy to do!!

I added some crinkle paper and some gummy candy that coordinated to the inside of my little treat box.

Here is a closer look at the set being showcased today:

Today we are giving you a peek at a couple of fun stamp sets titled,
Clear Jar & Clear Jar: Valentine Add Ons.

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

I started my card with a white card base and added a bit of pink gingham patterned paper along the bottom, using the Border Dies to create a stitched line first. I stamped the jar from the Clear Jar stamp set onto a piece of white cardstock, did a bit of coloring with my Copic markers and fussy cut it out. I then stamped it again onto a piece of vellum, heat embossed it and fussy cut that out. I added glue around the perimeter on the vellum, behind the black lines, and layered that on top of my white cardstock jar. This gave me a bit of a muted look, kinda like glass.  I added some crochet thread and adhered my jar to my card front. I free hand cut a stem and slipped it into my jar between the layers. I added a pink flower that I created using the Tropical Flower Dies and a leaf from the Small Poinsettia Die. I stamped my greeting from the Clear Jar stamp set, added a few clear Nuvo drops and a little enamel heart for the flower center.

I think this is so simple yet pretty!

Here is a look at what I created using some of the new products to share with you today:

As soon as I saw this fun sentiment in the NEW Soulmates stamp set, my mind went to socks.  Might have to do with the fact that my daughter has a slight obsession with fun socks haha! I thought this would be a cute way to create a little gift for her. I created my tag by using some gray and white cardstock and the Rounded Tag Die. I inked up the white layer with two shades of pink distress oxide ink and the Falling Hearts Stencil. I used more of the ink to color a section of white cardstock and then used the Heart Dies 2 to cut it out. I love when I can get everything to match up perfectly ;) I layered my heart onto another heart that I cut out using some gray cardstock and the Heart Dies 1. I stamped my sentiment from the Soulmates stamp set and used the Mini Tag Dies 3 to cut it out. I  added a couple of enamel hearts and tied the tag onto some fun socks using some pretty ribbon.

Adorable!
