Messy Hair

Hi everyone and happy happy Monday!
Today starts a new challenge over at the Bitten By The Bug 2 Challenge Blog!
The theme for this challenge is...

Something New!
It can be a new to you technique, product, cut file, etc.

Here is a look at what I created to share with you today:

I have a bin of items that I keep in my craft room of things that I may want to alter when an idea hits me and when I saw this challenge, I knew it would be perfect timing to alter this hat. I bought this hat a couple of months ago (still has the tags on it) on clearance because I loved the soft purple color.  This big wall decal was in the suggested projects list (Messy Hair, Don't Care Decal) when I did a search in Cricut Design Space and I just sized it down to fit a hat, versus a wall lol! I cut it from some white glitter HTV and used the new Easy Press Mini that my hubby got me for Christmas (first time using it...Yay!!). The mini heat press really made this process so easy! I decided to use the shape tool feature to also add a little heart to the brim to complete my hat.

I love it and it is ready to go once the temps get a bit warmer lol!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!!
Be sure to stop by the Bitten By The Bug 2 Challenge Blog to see the creations my DT sisters  created and I hope you will create a project and join us! I would love to see what you create!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

  3. That is totally adorable! Super cute hat! I don't own a Cricut anymore - gave it up years ago... otherwise, I would join the challenge over there... I guess I'll just get creative with my silhouette! :)

  7. boy, I would get a lot of use out of that hat (since I retired, I don't curl my hair daily anymore). Love the saying, and the little heart on the brim. Great new project!!!
