Life Is Better With A Good Friend!

Hi friends!
I hope you are all having a fabulous day!

I have some pretty exciting news to share...
I'm so happy to announce that I will be joining the Ink N' Splatter Design Team!
I just adore their images and am looking forward to getting creative & being a part of the team!

Here is a look at today's card:

These little frogs...seriously make me smile every time I look at them lol!

To create my card, I started with a Kraft card base in A2 size & layered some patterned paper from the On The Pond paper pack onto the front. I cut a strip of patterned paper, added some twine and notched one end before adding the strip to my card front. I stamped out those adorable frogs, the fly and cattails from the Pond Life Pairables stamp set and colored them with my Copic markers. Once I had them colored in, I cut them out and layered them onto a die cut circle. I stamped my greeting onto a strip of Kraft cardstock, die cut it out and adhered that under my little frogs before popping up my scene piece with foam tape onto the front of my card. I added a bit of shimmer with a Wink Of Stella Clear pen to the wings of the fly and the frog's bow to complete my card.

--Bow: BG10, BG11, BG13--

Feel Better Soon

  Hi friends!
I hope are having a fabulous day!

Today starts a new challenge over at the

Use Die Cuts, Stencils or Both!

Here is a look at the card that I created:

First, I need to apologize for my picture. There is a lot of shimmer, along with the foiling on the sentiment, but I could not capture that no matter how many times I tried, but believe me, it's there :)

Ok, back to the card. I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock to the same size as my card front, 4.25"x5.5". I taped off the edges so that I could center my stenciling and then placed another piece of tape going across so that I could separate the wall and the counter. Once everything was taped off, I used a brick stencil and some Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink and created my wall. Once I had that done, I removed the tape going across to fill in the space to create my countertop. I removed the tape from the sides and adhered it to my card base once it was dry. I used some scraps and a die that I have had for awhile from MFT called Freshly Picked (I think it is retired) to create my flowers and pitcher and adhered it to the front of my card with some foam tape. I foiled my sentiment using some silver foil onto a piece of bright pink cardstock, used a fishtail die to cut it out & popped that up with more foam tape. To finish my card, I punched out a little heart and added it to the pitcher, added some white Nuvo drops to some of the flowers and some wink of stella glimmer pen to the center of the white flower.
 So super simple!

I hope you will stop by the Addicted To Stamps & More challenge blog to see the fabulous cards the team made as well as joining us and playing along! I would love to see what you create!

Hello Friend!

Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous day so far!
It is very hot in my area so staying inside with the AC and doing a bit of crafting was how I spent my day. Perfection! lol!
I created a mini slimline card (love the mini's!) for a few different challenges.
The challenges that I will be playing along with are:

&
(sentiment, heart, ribbon, pink)

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I started by creating my mini slimline card base from some white card stock and then covering it with some multi colored striped patterned paper. I then cut a piece of white paper and lightly inked the background using some distress ink and a cloud stencil. Next, I stamped out my images, colored them with my Copic markers and fussy cut them out. I popped them up with some foam tape to give a little dimension and added an enamel heart to the front of my birdhouse. I stamped my greeting with black ink and used a die to cut it out. I tied a little bow around the edge of my greeting before popping it onto my card with more foam tape. I finished my card with some white gel pen accents on the leaves.

Copic Colors Used:
--Tree: E21, E23, E25, E29, YG17, YG03--
--Blue Bird: B0000, B000, B00, R20, E23--
--Lavender Bird: V000, V01, R00, E23--
--Bird House: Y15, Y13, Y11, Y00, E23, E25--

Dropping You A Line

 Hi friends!
I hope are having a fabulous day!

Today starts a new challenge over at the

Here is a look at the card that I created:

My daughter recently purchased this stamp set for me as a gift and I couldn't wait to get it inky. This challenge was the perfect time! Here is how I created my card. I started with a white A2 card base and covered it with some polka dotted and stripped patterned papers. Once I had those layers adhered, I rounded both of the top corners with a corner rounder. Next, I cut out some waves using a die from MFT and heat embossed my greeting onto the front wave. I added a sky background that I created by using some distress ink and a cloud stencil and adhered my pieces together, popping up the front wave with foam tape. I die cut a frame and added that to my waves and sky, carefully cutting away any excess background that was showing before adding it to my card front. I colored those adorable little images from MFT with my Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I positioned them where I wanted and used a bit of liquid glue to hold them in place. I completed my card with a few die cut clouds and some glossy accents for a little interest to mimic the wet water.

Copic Colors Used:
**Bunny: E40, E41, E42, R30, R00**
**Seagull: C0, YR21, YR24, R30**
**Bathing Suits: R24, R27, R39, C0**
**Boat: E33, E35, E37, B21, B23**

Soak Up Some Fun

Hi everyone and happy Saturday!
I hope your weekend is a great one so far!
Today I have a super quick post to share my most recent card that I made with a few challenges in mind.

The challenges that I would like to enter are:
&

Here is a look at my card:

I started by creating my A2 card base from some light blue cardstock. I followed the sketch for my patterned paper placement and then doodled around the perimeters. I colored my images with my Copic markers and die cut them out with the coordinating dies. I stamped the water and then used a circle die to cut it out. I lightly colored a layer of sand before adhering my die cuts to create my scene. After I adhered my circle piece to my card front, I used a bit of white paint and a stiff paint brush to pounce on some paint to act as my sea foam. I added my greeting and finished my card with some sequins and Nuvo drops. That frog sure does look relaxed doesn't he? lol!

Copic Colors Used:
--Tree: E21, E23, YG01, YG03, YG05--
--Water: B000, B00, BG11--
--Sand/Rock: E43, E41, E40--
--Frog: YG03--
--Bird: B000, B00, YR24--
