Black Cat Brewery

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

Today is my day to post over at the Jaded Blossom blog
and I have one last candy box for this Halloween season to share with you.

I used the Milk Carton Die and cut out my pieces using black cardstock. I cut out patterned paper strips and used the Border Dies to create a scallop border along the top and bottom edges and wrapped it around the middle portion of my milk carton. I stamped my image using the Black Cat Brewery stamp set onto a piece of white cardstock with black ink. Once it was dry, I used the layering pieces that come with the Milk Carton Die to cut it out, as well as another piece of patterned paper for the top section of the box. I adhered a few clay stars, some bats cut out using the Halloween Banner Dies & added some glossy accents to the remaining stars for some finishing touches. To close my box, I used some bright pink Tulle and tied it into a bow.

Fun and bright! I love it!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Ghostly Halloween

Hi everyone!
I hope your day is off to a great start!

I wanted to pop in real quick and share another Halloween card that I made.

I used this super cute stamp from Unity and stamped it onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and did some pretty simple Copic Coloring. I took a piece of striped patterned paper, trimmed it down, and used a circle die to create an opening in the bottom corner. I adhered it to my white cardstock, making sure the image showed in the opening. I die cut a piece of black glitter paper, nesting two circle dies together to create a frame, trimmed it down and added that between my patterned paper and my ghost.
I added some paper strips to the top, along with a crochet thread bow, and popped it up onto a black card base with foam tape. I added my sentiment, a few glittery die cut bats and some doodling to complete my card.

I think that little ghost is so incredibly cute!

Copic Colors Used:

Boo!

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

Today is my day to post over at the Jaded Blossom blog
and I have a spooky cute candy box to share with you.

I created my box by using some black cardstock and the Coffin Die. Once I had my box built, I die cut the orange layer by using the layering piece that comes with the Coffin Die, added some doodling and adhered that to the lid of my box. I used the Doily Dies to cut out a piece of black glitter cardstock and added a striped circle that I cut using the Stitched Circle Dies. I placed a tag that I cut out using the Mini Tag Dies 2 to the center, added the BOO from the Halloween Dies 2 and some black enamel dots. I added my doily piece to the lid and added two little ghost from the Halloween Banner Dies to complete my box.

I thought this would be a fun little surprise to sneak into my hubby's lunchbox for a little treat.
I added some chocolate peanut butter ghost candy to the inside.
Yum!

Jaded Blossom's October Release Blog Hop!!

Hey Everyone!  Welcome to Jaded Blossom's October Stamp Release Blog Hop!

If you're here from Cynthia's Blog you're in the right place! If you're just passing through, be sure to start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.  I will also have the complete line up at the bottom.

Here is what I made:

When my kiddos were small, we would sprinkle some Reindeer food on our lawn every Christmas Eve as the sun was setting. I loved that tradition! I recently became a Grandma, actually a Mimi, so I thought these little Reindeer that were just released were the perfect thing to make up some Reindeer food to give to my daughter so she could start the tradition with her little one.

Here's how I made it...
I started by building a little booth by using the Build A Booth Die and the Build A Booth: Treat Box Add Ons. I used the Reindeer Feed and stamped my greeting using some Versafine Black Ink and popped it up with foam tape at an angle. I used the Christmas Banner Dies for my holly string and the Street Lamp Die: Christmas Add Ons for my little red bows to decorate my box, as well as some small black enamel dots to act as my nail heads. Once my box was complete, I started building that sweet little reindeer. For him I used the Gnome Friends: Reindeer Die and the Reindeer Faces. I tied a little bell around his neck and attached him the the front of my booth.

Inside is a small bag of Reindeer feed (oatmeal and Christmas cupcake sprinkles).
I think this turned out so cute!!

For my second project, I decided to make a couple of Christmas tags.

I used the Reindeer Face Stencil and inked up the reindeer on a piece of white cardstock using the following distress oxide inks: Tea Dye, Vintage Photo and Black Soot. Once it was dry, I used the Rounded Tag die to cut it out and added it to a piece of gold glitter cardstock, also cut using the Rounded Tag Die. I stamped the To: and From: using the Gnome Peeking stamp set , cut it out using the Label Shape Dies 1 and popped it up with foam tape to the center of my tag. I added a little sprig of greenery under a bow that I created using the Bow Dies and glued that the the top of the tag. I threaded some white and gold twine through the hole, leaving the tails extra long since I'm not sure of the gift it will get attached to just yet.

For my second tag, I used the same sheet of Reindeer faces that I inked up earlier, only I cut them out using the scallop pieces that come with the Rounded Tag Die to decorate a white tag layer.
I think they are so pretty! I love lots of shimmer at the holidays!

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

My hubby is a HUGE Christmas Vacation fan so I thought it would be fun to create a card inspired by a certain cousin lol!

I created a top folding A2 card and added some papers to the front to mimic a floor and wall. I used the new Chair Die and cut it out using some red houndstooth patterned paper. I added that to the center of my card and got to work building my little gnome. I used the Gnome Dies and the Gnome Dies: Leg Add Ons to create my gnome base. For his hat and mug, I used the Gnome Dies: Winter Add Ons. I created a little "robe" by using the vest pieces from the Gnome Dies: Motorcycle Add Ons and his boots came from the Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 1. Once I had him built, I situated him in the chair and glued him down. I stamped my sentiment using the new Relax stamp set, cut it out using the coordinating dies and popped it up under my chair with foam tape. I used a corner rounder to round the top two corners and did a little doodling with a black Micron pen to complete my card.

I think this turned out so fun!

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

How cute is this little reindeer??
To create my card, I started with a top folding white A2 card base. I used the Card Mat Dies and cut out a piece of  patterned paper and a pice of white glitter cardstock. I adhered the patterned paper to my card base and used the Border Dies 2 to create some hills from my glitter cardstock before applying those to my card front. I used the Street Lamp Die, along with the wreath from the Street Lamp Die: Christmas Add Ons, to create my lamp, tucking it behind one of the hills. I used the Gnome Friends: Reindeer Die & Reindeer Faces to create my adorable little reindeer and added her to the snowy hill in front. I cut out a scarf from the Gnome Dies: Winter Add Ons and added that to her as well. I stamped my sentiment from the Winter Wishes (revamped) stamp set and cut it out using the Mini Tag Dies 2 and popped it up onto the top corner. I completed my card with some snowflake sequins and some white Nuvo drops.

So sweet!

Here is a look at the project that I made to share with you:

How cute right??
This little gift card is adorable and so simple to make.

Here's how I did it:
I used the Gnome Gift Card Slider Die to cut out some holly print patterned paper and adhered the two pieces together to create the sleeve. I created my bow by using the pieces that come with the Gnome Gift Card Slider Die and cutting it out using some red glitter cardstock. I die cut a piece of white cardstock, created the notches for the gift card and added my little elf to the top.

I created my elf by using the following dies: Girl Gnome DiesGirl Gnome Face Add Ons, Gnome Faces, Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 1 (for the holly on her hat). I added a little tag by using the Gnome Gift Card Slider Die along with the Gnome Peeking stamp set and tucking it under my bow.

This fits a gift card wonderfully!
