It's almost the weekend! Yay!!

It is also the 4th Thursday of the month and that means it's time for a new challenge over at the

 Seize The Birthday Challenge Blog!!

"Anything Goes" Birthday is perfectly fine!

Here is a look at the card that I created for the challenge...

I've had these adorable little hedgehog stamps in my stash for quite a few years and I honestly don't think that I have ever used them until now. I was flipping through my stamps to get inspiration for the challenge and as soon as I saw them, I knew they would be perfect to pair up with some fall colors!

Here's how I made my card...

I created an A2 top folding cardbase and covered it with some floral patterned papers from a fall themed 6x6 paper pad. I die cut my yellow plaid banner, tied a bow around the top and adhered that to my card front. I did a little masking so that my hedgies could sit close together on the log, stamping them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloring my image with Copic markers. Once I had it colored in, I fussy cut it out and added it to a piece of vellum that I cut out using a zig zag circle die. I used a die to cut a balloon, added some string and poked a little hole so that my little hedgehog could "hold" it. I added some white details to the cheeks and the balloon with a white paint pen & popped up my Vellum piece with foam tape onto the front of my card. I stamped my greeting onto a piece of Kraft cardstock using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder, placing it underneath my little critters.

I think this came out so incredibly cute!!

Trick Or Treat!

Hi everyone and happy Monday!

Today I am stopping by to share a project that I created using one of the newly released images from 

Digi Doodle Studios.

I used the super cute ghost, Ghostly Dilly Friendly Halloween Ghost for my project.

I thought she was so super cute holding her little trick or treat bucket, that it inspired me to create a little  candy bucket for my project.

To create my bucket, I used the Octagon Treat Box die from Jaded Blossom and cut it out in some orange cardstock. I embossed the top layering piece with a polka dot embossing folder for a little dimension. I printed out my Ghostly Dilly Friendly Halloween Ghost onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and did a little Copic coloring. I cut her out using my Scan N Cut and popped her up onto my bag using some foam adhesive. I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of black patterned paper with Versafine Ink and heat embossed it using white embossing powder. I cut the sentiment apart and layered them next to my little ghostly friend. I finished my little bag by adding some black confetti stars and filling it with some yummy little candies. 

 

So cute!!

I might make a few more of these! I think they are the perfect size to hand out this Spooky season to neighbors, Mail Carriers, Hair Dressers, etc.

Happy Halloween From All Of Us!

I hope you are all doing well!

Today I wanted to pop in and share a super fun and easy card that I made with a new stamp set that was recently released from Gerda Steiner Designs called The Boo Crew.

How cute are these ghosts?

Here is how I made my card...

I started by creating a top folding A2 cardbase using some bright pink cardstock. 

I die cut a piece of patterned paper using a Scallop Rectangle Die and popped that up onto my cardbase with foam tape. I stamped my ghosts using Versafine Ink onto a piece of white hammermill cardstock, heat embossed them with clear embossing powder and did some simple Copic coloring. Once I had it colored the way I wanted, I used my Scan N Cut to cut it out and added it to my card front. I heat embossed my greeting, also in the Boo Crew stamp set, onto a piece of pink patterned paper using some white embossing powder and added it right underneath my Boo Crew. I finished my card with some silver confetti stars, a little pink bow for one of my ghosts, glossy accents in the glasses and some white doodles. 

This image is so fun! I love all the cute little ghosts and their facial expressions!

Halloween Wishes!

 Hi everyone and happy Monday!

Today I am popping in to share a card that I created using one of the new images released from

 Digi Doodle Studios.

For my card, I used the super adorable image called Mimi Sue Lovable Witch.

To create my card, I started by covering a white top folding cardbase with some polka dotted patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs. I added a strip of black glitter cardstock down the middle and glued a piece of green patterned paper on top. I printed my Mimi Sue Lovable Witch image onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock, colored her in with my Copic markers and used my Scan N cut to cut her out. I popped her up onto a big die cut circle with foam tape and then adhered the circle to the front of my card. I placed my sentiment below her and added some glittery bats to complete my card.

Here is a look at the card that I created for the challenge...

I had so much fun making this card and it was really pretty simple.

I started by using a Watercolor Wash Stencil and some Distress Inks to create a wonky backdrop for my scene. Once my Distress Inks were dry, I used a stitched rectangle die to cut it out & glued it to a Kraft A2 top folding card. I stamped my images from Pink & Main using some Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with my Copic markers. Once they were colored, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and arranged them onto my card to create a little scene. I popped up the cow and one of the clouds with some foam tape to add a little dimension. I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of Kraft cardstock and used a sentiment strip from an older set by MFT to cut it out. I placed my sentiment onto my card, also popping it up with foam tape.

I think this is so cute!

Here is a look at a card that I created using one of the new adorable images called, Sleeping Bat.

Look at his adorable little face and smile! I wonder what he is dreaming about?? lol!

Here is how I created my card...

I created a white A2 top folding card base and added two pieces of patterned paper on top that I cut out using a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die. I used a small border die to cut out a piece of black cardstock to add a little separation between the two layers. I printed out my Sleeping Bat image and colored it with Copic markers (I will list the markers used below). Once I had the image colored, I used my Scan N Cut to cut it out. I die cut a Photo Frame, added my bat and then backed the piece with some patterned paper that resembled a night sky. I added my sentiment & a little bow before popping up my image panel with foam tape. I finished my card by adhering some black confetti stars. 

So adorable!!

Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun!

 Hi everyone!

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying some nice weather :)

Today I wanted to pop in real quick and share a super fun card that I made with a stamp set that is going to be released soon from Gerda Steiner Designs called FABOOLOUS BIRTHDAY.

Fun right?

Here is how I made it...

I started by creating an A2 top folding cardbase using purple cardstock. 

Next I used a die to cut out my scallop rectangle and frame. I adhered both of those pieces onto a piece of white cardstock and doodled around the inside of the frame with a black Micron pen. I stamped my images from the FABOOLOUS BIRTHDAY stamp set using black Memento Ink, colored them in with COPIC markers and fussy cut them out. I popped them up onto my card with some foam tape and added some black confetti stars.

I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of purple cardstock and heat embossed it using some black embossing powder. I trimmed it down, flagged the ends and popped it up with foam tape also.

I decided to add a little bow on one of the "ghouls" and added a little sparkle to the Disco Ball with a sparkle pen.

Hey There Boo-tiful!

 Happy Augtober!! haha!

Anyone else getting excited about the Halloween season or is it just me??

I think Halloween is one of my favorite seasons to create for, with the exception of Christmas.

I love this sweet little ghost from Digi Doodle Studios, called Bubbles La Boo, and couldn't wait to get her printed out, colored up and put onto a card!

Here's how I made it.

I started by covering my A2 card base with some patterned paper and rounding one of the corners. I inked around the perimeter with some residual ink that was left on my blending brush. Next, I cut down a smaller piece of patterned paper from the same paper pad and added a little border on two of the sides. I created the border by die-cutting two border pieces using a smaller die from Recollections and just gluing them together on the back of my patterned paper, overlapping them at the bottom corner. Next up was that super cute ghost, Bubbles La Boo! I printed her out twice, once on white cardstock and once again on a piece of plaid patterned paper. I colored her, very simply, with my Copic markers and then fussy cut her out. I added her to my card and then started working on her bow. I fussy cut the bow that was printed on the patterned paper, added some Copic coloring to add just a little dimension and then popped it up with some foam tape. I used a sentiment strip for my greeting and added some puffy star stickers and some black doodling to complete my card.

I think she is so cute!!

 Hi friends and happy Monday!

I hope you had a great weekend and are ready to take on the week!

It is still so hot here so we took it easy and stayed home where it is nice and cool lol!

The up side to staying home is a little more crafty time!! Yay!!

With school starting soon, I decided to make a super cute gift card holder that is perfect for a teacher.

Isn't is so cute?? Here is how I made it...

I started by creating that little bird using a die from Jaded Blossom, Gnome Friends: Bird Die, adding some little glasses & an apple to hold. I die cut a piece of lined patterned paper and used a Binding Edge paper punch to cut one edge to resemble a piece of notebook paper and added it to my "paper bag" pocket. I die cut some letters and numbers & placed them in the top left corner. I added my little bird in the bottom right, adding some stars to fill the empty spaces. 

I trimmed down a piece of white cardstock to fit inside my pocket and used a gift card die to add the stitched lines and gift card notches. I created a double bow as act as the "handle" and added my gift card. 

I added some white doodles with a paint pen and some white Nuvo drops to complete my project.

So super cute!!

Christmas Gift Card Holder

 Hi everyone!

I hope you are all doing well!

Today I am popping in with one last (I think) Christmas project for the month of July.

My kiddos are older so buying gifts gets a little more challenging, especially when they prefer gift cards or cash. So I decided to make a cute little gift card holder so that it was a little more festive. This adorable little image from Digi Doodle Studios was perfect for what I had in mind.

I started by creating my fun pocket using an older die from Sizzix called, Pocket w/ Scallop Edge. I can't even remember the last time I used this die but I am glad I kept it cause it was the perfect size! I used some fun and bright green striped paper to create my pocket and set it aside while I worked on coloring the image. I printed out my image, Elf Gift Surprise, onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored it with my Copic markers. Once I had my image colored, I ran it through my Scan N Cut to cut it out. I trimmed down a piece of vellum to fit on top of my pocket and adhered my image to it. I hid some foam tape behind my image so that I could pop up my vellum piece to the front of my pocket. I added some white doodles with a paint pen and added some hemp cording and jingle bells to finish my project.

I added some clear Wink Of Stella to the ornaments and some gold Stickles to the Elf's clothes for a little extra Christmas sparkle!

On the back, I just added a simple little To & From.

Seaon Of Sweetness

I hope you had a fun weekend!

I was able to get a bit of crafting done and colored up this cutie to create another Christmas card for my stash...

I had so much fun coloring up this sweet little image! I don't know what it is but those images from The Greeting Farm just make me smile!

Here is how I created my card...

I started by creating a white top folding A2 card base and covering it with a piece of Holly printed patterned paper. I trimmed down a strip of green patterned paper and layered that onto my card at the bottom and added a piece of Ric Rak that I cut out using a die from Jaded Blossom to separate the two layers. I trimmed down a piece of red patterned paper, flagged the bottom end and added that to my card. I colored up the image from The Greeting Farm, Holiday Anya 7, and then used a oval die to cut her out. I popped that up onto my card with foam tape and added my sentiment, also popped up with foam tape. I doodled around the perimeter of my card with a black Micron pen.

I decided to stamp her again so that I could color just her hat again. I fussy cut it out and popped it up to give a little visual interest to my image. I love doing that! I added some gold Stickles to the stars on her hat as well as some glossy accents to the berries and gingerbread buttons to complete my card.

Belated Birthday

Hi everyone!

I hope your day is going smoothly so far!

I have a super cute card (at least it is to me lol) that I wanted to share with you today.

I loved the sketch over on the MFT card challenges blog and immediately knew I wanted to play along. 

 I went looking through my stamps, and came across this adorable sloth and knew I wanted to use him for this card. 

 I started with a white top folding A2 card and covered it with some blue striped patterned paper. I trimmed down a white panel, die cut a circle to create the opening and then embossed it with a polka dot embossing folder. I popped my white panel up onto my card front with some foam tape, just to add a little interest to the opening itself. I stamped my sloth with some Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him with my Copic markers before fussy cutting him out. I stamped my sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock, making sure to stamp it more towards the bottom of the strip, and glued it to my embossed panel. I added my sloth, adhering the bottom part of him with glue to the sentiment strip and the top half with foam tape into the window opening. I also added just a bit of glue to the balloon. I finished my card with a few little clouds and some clear Wink of Stella to the balloon. 

I think it is just so cute!!

Holly Jolly Christmas

 Hi everyone!

I hope you are all doing well and are able to stay cool, especially with so many areas experiencing heat waves. It has definitely been a hot summer so far in my area.

Even with the heat, I have Christmas on my mind. Could be Christmas in July or maybe I am just dreaming of cooler temps haha!

Here is a look at my latest card that I created, using an oldie but goodie digital stamp from

  Digi Doodle Studios.

I love this stamp called, Rattata's Mistletoe from Digi Doodle Studios.

I think it is just the sweetest and I couldn't wait to print it out and get to coloring it with my Copics. 

Once I had it colored (I will list the colors used below), I fussy cut it out and set it aside while I built my card. I covered a white A2 cardbase with some red and white striped patterned paper. I die cut a white scallop rectangle and then ran it through my die cutting machine again to create a window using a metal oval die. I popped it up onto my card base with foam tape. I die cut a smaller oval using some vellum,  glued my mouse on top and then popped up the image into the window opening using more foam tape. The foam tape was pretty easy to hide behind the mouse. I decided my card needed a bit of sparkle so I pulled out some red glitter paper and a bow die to create that fun bow that I placed on top of my card. I stamped my sentiment using a stamp from MFT onto a piece of white cardstock, used a sentiment strip to cut it out and added a bit of sparkle behind the sentiment with more of the red glitter paper. I finished my card with some white doodles, a little pearl heart on his hat pin and some glossy accents to his ornament. So pretty!
