Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!
Today is my day to post over at the Jaded Blossom blog and I wanted to share with you a fun little goody box that also doubles as the birthday card that I made for my daughter!
Here is a look at what I created:
I created my cupcake by using the Cupcake Slider Die and some fun patterned papers from Doodlebug, along with some solid Brown and White cardstock. Once I had my cupcake built, I used the So Many Birthdays 4 and stamped my sentiment using some Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I cut it out using the Label Shape Dies 2, added a little enamel heart and popped it up onto my cupcake with foam tape. I wrapped some crochet thread around and tied it off with a bow.
I used the Crate Die and made a little crate from white cardstock, attaching it to the back of my Cupcake Slider. How fun! This way I could have a birthday card and little candy surprise all rolled into one!
I used the Border Dies and cut a piece of brown cardstock to add a little decorative separation between the brown and white layers on the slider.
When you pull out the slider it reveals a sweet birthday message from the Nom Nom stamp set
Plenty of room to still be able to write a message to the recipient!
I love the Cupcake Slider Die and I think it makes the cutest shaped birthday cards!
Adorable!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today!
I appreciate it so much!
I hope you have a great crafty day!
