Jaded Blossom Mini Firefighter Release!

 Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!!

It's time for our new Mini Firefighter Release over at Jaded Blossom!

We have four new items available! Check them out HERE

🚒🚒🚒

As a Firefighter Mom, I am thrilled for this release!!
Here is what I made using the new items..

My first project features this adorable little Firefighter Gnome lending a bit of encouragement lol!
I started by making a top folding A2 card using white cardstock. I die cut some light blue patterned paper using the Card Mat Dies and adhered it to my card front. I cut a wide strip of striped patterned paper and added it to the bottom of my card, layering it over the light blue paper. I used the Rectangle Dies 2 to die cut a piece of white cardstock, stamped my greeting from the Sound The Alarm Stamp set to the bottom and added that to my card front. I built my little Firefighter using the Gnome Dies along with the Gnome Dies: Firefighter Add Ons and adhered that above my greeting. I separated the two by wrapping some red crochet thread around and tying it off with a bow. I used the tiny circle from the Banner Dies to create some little "faux enamel dots" & added them to the top right corner and topped them off with some glossy accents. I think he is just too cute!!

For my second project, I wanted to make a fun birthday themed card.

I had so much fun making this card! I started with a top folding white A2 card base and added a red layer that I cut out using the Card Mat Dies. I used the Card Mat Dies to cut out another panel, this time from Yellow, and added that to my card at a slight angle, cutting off the excess. I added some doodles with a black Micron pen around both the red and yellow panels. I built that super fun Firetruck using the Car Dies: Off Road Vehicle along with the Car Dies: Firetruck Add Ons. Once I had my truck built, I added some elements from the Gnome Dies: Firefighter Add Ons, like the extinguisher and the fire hose and of course that adorable Dalmatian to the cab of my truck. I added a piece of vellum behind to act as a rear window and added my truck to the front of my card. I stamped my sentiment using the Sound The Alarm Stamp set, cut it out using the coordinating Outline Dies and popped it up under the truck with foam tape. I completed my card by adding some stars that I cut out using the Star Dies and the Embellishment Clusters Die.
I love how this card turned out! Adorable!

Jaded Blossom's May Release Blog Hop!

Hey Everyone!
If you're here from Lee-Ann's Blog you're in the right place, if you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.  I will also have the complete line up at the bottom.

Here is a look at what I made:

First up is a sweet little birthday card!
I used the Stitched Square Dies to cut out some teal blue cardstock as well as some Kraft cardstock. I used the Tropical Dies to create some hills on my Kraft cardstock and layered them all together onto the teal blue square. I used the Make A Splash Gnomie stamp set to stamp my greeting using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I tucked some seaweed that I cut out using the Gnome Dies: Mermaid Add Ons in between the sand layers and added that fun clam shell that I created using the Fancy Shell Die. I die cut a piece of vellum using the Scallop Square Dies, added my scene on top & popped up the entire piece onto a white 4.25" square card base.

Next, I wanted to create a little treat box to accompany my card.

Super cute right?
I started by die cutting my box using white cardstock and the Handled Gift Box Die. I used the stitched rectangle that comes with the Handled Gift Box Die as a base for my scene. I die cut some blue patterned paper to act as my water and some Kraft cardstock to act as my ocean floor, using the Tropical dies to create the top sand edge. I used some distress ink to ink the edges and popped it up onto my blue layer with foam tape. I kept the foam tape towards the middle/bottom of the sand so that I could easily tuck my decorative elements in. I used the Gnome Dies: Mermaid Add Ons to cut out my seaweed, coral, shell and mermaid and layered them onto my stitched rectangle piece. Before adhering it to the front of my box, I laid it on my box and positioned my stamp so I knew where the sentiment from the Mermaid To Be Friends stamp set fit best. Once it was stamped, I adhered my scene and built my box. I used the Bow Dies to create a double bow and glued it to a mini clothespin as a way to keep my box closed. I added some fun little enamel shapes as well as some Nuvo drops to the front.

I added some paper shred and salt water taffy to the inside.

I think this turned out to be a fun little gift and oh so cute!

And of course we have to have a deal for you right?

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

Isn't this mermaid stamp from the Mermaid To Be Friends stamp set the sweetest?
This card was so super simple to make!
I used the Card Mat Dies to cut out a piece of white cardstock and stamped my sentiment from the Mermaid To Be Friends stamp set at a slight angle. I used the Card Layer Dies 2 to cut my patterned paper and added that to my card front, making sure the sentiment was between the papers. I cut a thin strip of striped paper and added that along the top edge of the bottom layer for a little visual interest. I stamped my mermaid and colored her with my Copic markers. I then used the coordinating Mermaid To Be Friends Outline Dies to cut her out and popped her up with foam tape. I popped up my card mat layer onto a white A2 top folding card and added a few sequins and enamel hearts to complete the look.

Copic Colors Used:
--Skin: E50, E51, E21, R20, R00--

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today...

I started by making an A2 cardbase using white cardstock and adding some scallops that I cut out using the Border Dies. I wanted to create a scene down the middle of the card so I used the Rectangle Dies 2 to die cut some water patterned paper and added that to the middle of my card, layering it on top of the scallop pieces. I used the Rectangle Dies 2 and the Border Dies 2 to create my ocean floor layers and added them to my card towards the bottom. Once my underwater backdrop was created, I started the really fun part...decorating! I used the Gnome Dies: Mermaid Add Ons to die cut some seaweed, tucking it between the layers of ocean floor. I also added a little seahorse using the Gnome Dies: Mermaid Add Ons. I used the Girl Gnome Dies and Gnome Dies: Mermaid Add Ons to create my mermaid and popped her up with foam tape onto the front of my card. I stamped my sentiment from the Make A Splash Gnomie onto a piece of Kraft cardstock and used the coordinating Make A Splash Gnomie Outline Dies to cut it out. I popped it up with foam tape and added a piece of coral that I cut out using the Gnome Dies: Mermaid Add Ons behind it. I completed my card with a few little pearls on her hat.
I had so much fun putting this little mermaid gnome together!

Mother's Day

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

Today is my day to post over at the Jaded Blossom blog
and I wanted to share the Mother's Day card that I made for my mom.

Here is a look at what I created:

I created an A2 card base using white cardstock and added a piece of white cardstock that I embossed with a polka dot embossing folder on top. I used the Rectangle Internal Scallops to die cut a piece of pink paper and added that to my card front. I then used the Rounded Tag Die and cut out my tag, once in Vellum and again in Pink Plaid, adhered the two pieces together and popped it up onto my card with foam tape. I die cut a hole protector using the Treat Tag Die and added that to my tag. I used the Floral Frame With Outline Die for my focal piece, inking it with black Versafine ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I did some simple Copic coloring before using the coordinating die to cut it out. I popped it up onto my tag with foam tape and added a few sequins and Nuvo drops to the tag as well. I completed my card with a fun little bow that I created using Crochet thread. I left the tails extra long and created some little loops, gluing in place here and there to secure them.
I think this turned out so pretty!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today!
I appreciate it so much!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

I recently became a grandma (aka Mimi) for the very first time!!
To say I am smitten would be an understatement!
Here is a look at the card that I created to welcome him home 💙

I started by creating a white A2 top folding card. I used the Card Mat Dies to cut out a piece of plaid patterned paper and then I used one of the Stitched Oval Dies to create a window. I popped it up with foam tape to my card base and added a little onesie that I cut out using the Baby Dies into the center of the opening. I used the Candy Charms & Banner Dies to die cut a little white circle for the middle of the onesie and added an enamel turtle from Doodlebug Designs. I die cut some stars using the Star Dies and added them to my card along with some white Nuvo drops and green enamel hearts. I used one of the sentiments from the New Baby Stamp Set and die cut it out using the Mini Tag Dies 3.

For the inside, I used the Card Mat Dies, Star Dies and the New Baby Stamp Set.

Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom blog to see what the rest of the DT made, they never disappoint!
I hope you will play along, I would love to see what you make!
