Today I would like to share with you a card that I made for the sketch challenge over at
As soon as I saw the sketch I feel in love with the clean and simple lines of it.
Here is the card that I created:
I know, I know, your thinking a purple mailbox? Really? haha! Purple is my favorite color and the other day hubby and I were talking about repainting the trim on our house and he jokingly said that if I had my way, we would paint the house purple. Although I would love that, I don't think the neighbors would ;) Anyway, when I started coloring, I thought about that conversation and colored the mailbox purple.

Hey, I don't think there is anything wrong with a purple mailbox. Of course, I may be biased since purple happens to be my favorite color!
I love the simplicity of your card...it is perfect for this sketch! Purple is one of my favorite colors too. The rounded corners and the subdued colors give the card such a peaceful feel! Thanks for sharing your card with us this week at Unscripted Sketches :)
