You Make My Life Magical

Hi Crafty friends!
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Today I have a super cute card to share with you that I made to play along with a couple of different challenges.

Here is a look at the card that I made:

Isn't this dragon the cutest?? As soon as I saw him in the 2 Cute Ink Etsy shop, I just had to have him! I sized him up to about 3.25 inches and colored him with my Copic markers. I cut him out using my Scan N Cut and then set him aside while I worked on my card layout. I added some plaid patterned paper to the front of a white cardbase and added a bright blue layer on top. I used a Cross Stitch die from MFT to cut out a piece of white cardstock and inked around the perimeter with some Broken China distress ink. I used another die to cut out my grass, stamped my sentiment along the bottom and used the Cross Stitch die again so that it would flow with my white panel. I added a couple of die cut clouds, outlining them with some glitter glue and popped up that adorable dragon with some foam tape. I added a few little flowers and a tiny little butterfly to complete my card. I think he is so cute! tee hee!

I will be entering my card into the following challenges:

Land of the Free

Hi everyone and happy happy Monday!
Today starts a new challenge over at the Bitten By The Bug 2 Challenge Blog!
The theme for this challenge is...

 Military

Here is a look at the card that I created:

This was super simple! The Cricut pretty much did all the work for me. I found this fun outline of the United States with the text cut out of it in Cricut Access. I sized it to fit the front of my card, added some fun striped ribbon and popped it up onto my card base with some foam tape. I added a few Nuvo drops and some blue gel pen doodles and that's it! Easy peasy!!

Mermaid Hugs

Hi there crafty friends!
How's your weather? It has rained here for the last three days and it looks like it will be raining more for the rest of the week. Perfect for my garden and for staying in and crafting though so it's all ok lol!
Today I created a card for a few challenges in mind using a digi stamp from 2 Cute Ink.
I'm really loving the versatility in digi stamps! I can resize them and have them as big or small as I want. Don't get me wrong, I still love my clear and rubber stamps though and will not be giving those up anytime soon lol! I'm just really enjoying being able to use both kinds :)

Enough of my rambling. Here is a look at the card that I created today:

I printed out my digi stamp onto some white cardstock and colored in the scene with my Copic markers. Once I had it colored in, I used a die from MFT to cut it out and stamped my greeting in the top left corner.  I created my card base from some blue cardstock and layered some fun patterned paper from Doodlebug on top. I popped up my image layer with some foam tape for a little dimension and added a crochet thread bow along the top. I completed my card with some white doodles on her tail as well as some glossy accents on the bubbles. I love mermaids and am so happy that I was able to get another card completed for Mer-May :)

The challenges that I will be entering my card into are:

You are a be-you-ti-ful gift!

Hi crafty friends!
I hope this is finding you well!
I wanted to stop in tonight and share a card that I made for a swap that I was in with my friend Kimberly. We decided it would be fun to create a card for each other that incorporated a rainbow in some way and was bright and cheerful! We could all use a bit of that right??

Here is a look at the card that I created to send to her:

I chose this free image from Tiddly Inks, called Spring Wryn and sized the image to almost completely cover the front of my card base. I colored the image with some Copic markers and then popped it up with some foam tape onto my card base. I added a bit of doodling along the perimeter as well as some Nuvo drops to some of the flower centers.

I think it came out so pretty!
I hope she likes it!

I will also be entering my card into the following challenges:

You Are Mermazing!

Hi crafty friends!
Happy Friday! Any weekend plans?
My area is starting to open up with Phase 1 but I believe I will still stay home for a bit.
I'm definitely ok with staying home and crafting lol!

Today I have a sweet and simple card to share with you that I created for a few challenges.

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I started by using some thick white cardstock to create my base. I added some striped paper to the sides and did a bit of doodling along the perimeter. I diecut some blue patterned paper and stamped a few background images and added some sand by diecutting some light kraft cardstock and doing a little paper tearing. I added it to the front of my card front and started working on my image. I stamped my Rock and Mermaid from the Mermazing stamp set from MFT and colored them with my Copic markers. I fussy cut it out and popped it up onto my card front with some foam tape. I stamped my greeting onto some pink patterned paper, did some more doodling and popped that up as well. I completed my card with a few enamel dots in the upper left hand corner.
I couldn't let May pass by without a Mermaid card, I mean it is Mer-May after all right??

The challenges that I am entering are:

Christmas Cardinal

Hi Crafty friends!
I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!
Today I have a Christmas card to share with you that I made with a few challenges in mind.

The challenges that I am entering are:
(I used a bow, green and an image)

&

Here is a look at the card that I created:

If you come to my blog often, you've probably read that I made it a personal goal to make at least one Christmas card a month this year to try and get ahead, at least by a little lol! When I saw the sketch for Mojo Monday, I knew this chubby little cardinal would be perfect to put inside that circle focal point! I started with a red cardbase and covered it with some kraft patterned paper from Echo Park. I added a strip of green and white patterned paper from the same paper collection so it would match perfectly and then rounded one of the top corners of my card. I added a bit of doodling along the perimeter with a black sharpie pen and then started working on my image. I printed the digi stamp from 2 Cute Ink onto a piece of Hammermill Digital paper and colored it with my Copic markers. I used a circle die to cut it out and then backed it onto a red circle that I also cut out using a die. I adhered it to my card base and added a bit of glitter for the snowflakes and snow on the branch. I stamped my greeting, used more circle dies to cut it out, popped it up with foam tape and added a little crochet thread bow. I completed my card with a few white Nuvo drops.

I think this turned out so incrediby cute and since there isn't a lot of dimension, it will be super easy to mail! Gotta love that, especially during the holidays!

On A Scale of 1 to 10....

Hi everyone!
I hope your day is off to a great start!
Today I have a super fun card to share with you, fun in my opinion at least lol.

Tina from Toadally Love To Craft hosted a live color along in the Paper Nest Dolls FB Group last Saturday night and this wizard from Paper Nest Dolls was the fun image we were coloring.  I had a lot of fun coloring him but he sat on my desk for a couple of days while I decided what to do with him lol! I thought it would be fun to make a little card for my hubby with him. I cut my white cardstock down and used some distress oxide inks to sponge all around the outer edges to achieve a focal point. I stamped my sentiment along the bottom edge and then went over the lines shooting from his wand with a gold gel pen. I used an old paper punch to create that border from some burgundy paper and adhered it to the back of my image panel. I popped all that up onto a black card base with some foam tape for some dimension and then added some shiny star confetti and gold and white Nuvo drops to complete my card.

I will be entering my card into the following challenges:

Let's Hear it for the Graduates!!

Hi everyone and happy happy Monday!
Today starts a new challenge over at the Bitten By The Bug 2 Challenge Blog!
The theme for this challenge is...

Graduation!

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I saw this in card in Design Space when I searched for graduation and it instantly brought a smile to my face!! This was so super easy! I cut out my card from the Graduation Quick Cut Cards, added some black and glitter Nuvo drops and tied some coordinating twine to the side and Voila! Easy peasy! I created this card in my local High School's colors. I don't know anyone that is graduating this year but this could easily be modified by simply replacing the twine and cutting out a different insert (the orange piece) if the need arises for me to give it to someone with different school colors. Gotta love that!

The file even included a matching envelope :)

Happy Mother's Day

Hi crafty friends!
It seems like it has been raining quite a lot in my area, but it looks beautiful outside today with the sun shining bright! I hope the sun is shining in your part of the world!

Today I have a super fun card to share with you that I made with a few challenges in mind.
Here is a look at my card:

Isn't this image darling?? I started my inserting the digi stamp from C.C. Designs called, Funny Faces into my Word program and adding text above it with a font that I have on my computer. I printed it out onto some cardstock and colored those adorable kiddos with my Copic markers. Once I had it all colored, I used a stitched die from MCT and cut it out. I added some doodles along the perimeter and added a bit of bright pink ribbon with a bow to the left hand side. I covered a card base with some plaid paper and then popped my image panel onto it with some foam tape. I finished my card with a couple of coordinating enamel hearts and a little white nuvo drop. I think this is so incredibly fun and cute! Definitely reminds me of my kiddos when they were little haha! ❤

Howdy!

Hi everyone and happy happy Saturday!!
The sun is shining bright here today and I am going to actually go into the back yard and get some of my veggies planted since we have a little break from the rain lol! I did want to pop on here real quick before I did that and share with you a card that I created for a few challenges.

The challenges that I am entering are:
&

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I recently ordered this patterned paper from LDRS and as soon as I saw this bandanna inspired piece, I knew I just had to pair it with this fun digi from The Greeting Farm. This was such an easy card to create. I started with a square cardbase cut from some dark blue cardstock and die cut a scallop square from some white cardstock to layer on top. I created a sentiment on my computer, printing it out onto a piece of white cardstock, layered it onto the bandanna paper and used a stitched square die to cut it out. I added some denim ribbon, tying it into a bow and popped up that patterned paper piece with some foam tape. I printed out the Country Anya digi and colored her with my Copic markers.  I cut her out with my Scan N Cut & popped her up with even more foam tape. I completed my card with a couple of blue hearts that I punched out and then covered with some glossy accents as well as some little white polka dots on her hair ribbons with my white gel pen.  So super simple but I think it is adorable just as it is!

Thank so much for stopping by today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!
