Jaded Blossom's August Release: Day 1

Today is the beginning of the Jaded Blossom August release,

and I just have to say that this release is awesome!!

Although to be fair, I think that about each release! haha!

Today we are giving you a look at Speedy Recovery & Medical Dies.

Here is what I made to share with you today:

I used the Goody Bag Die and cut out some fun striped paper to create my bag. I cut the front panel from some white cardstock and used the Medical Dies to decorate it. The heart on the prescription bottle came from the Banner Dies. I stamped my greeting from the Speedy Recovery stamp set onto some yellow cardstock and notched one of the ends. I attached it to the bag using a library clip. I finished off my little bag with some Nuvo drops and some doodling. I think it turned out so super cute!

Jaded Blossom's August Challenge!

Hi everyone!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom blog!!

For the month of August, we would love to see your Monochromatic projects that use some of those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps/dies!

Here is a look at my take on the challenge:

I am loving those new Octagon Dies and couldn't wait to make another shaped card using them. I formed my card base by cutting two pieces of white card stock that I cut out using the largest of the Octagon Dies and adhering them together. I cut another piece from some green polka dot paper and covered the front. I added a white strip from the Border Dies and then got to work on my focal point. I stamped out three cactus from the You Are Succulent stamp set and colored them with various shades of green. I paper pieced the pots for a little whimsy. Once I had the cacti done, I stamped my greeting and used another Octagon Die to cut them out. I layered them with a piece of striped vellum, also cut from the Octagon dies, and popped my focal point up onto the card with some foam tape. I finished off my card with a little bow from the Bow Dies and an enamel heart.

Here is a look at what I created:

I started out using some gray cardstock to form my card base. Using the Card Mat Dies from Jaded Blossom, I cut out some fun patterned paper and layered it onto my card base. I used my Copic markers and colored the Jane - Hey Teach stamp and used my Scan N Cut 2 to cut her out. I used the new Chalkboard Die, popped it up onto my card front and added my greeting using the Alphabet Dies 2 from Jaded Blossom.

Here is a look at what I made using the new Tony stamp: 

This card was so incredibly easy to put together! I found this fun patterned paper of a kid's room in one of my 6x6 paper pads and knew I just had to use it! I covered my card base with it and then colored Tony - Hey Buddy What's Up with my Copic markers (I paper pieced his shirt). I cut him out using my Scan N Cut 2 and popped him up with some foam tape onto my card front. I added my greeting and used the Word Bubble Dies from Jaded Blossom to cut it out. I popped it up with more foam tape and VOILA! Easy peasy card!!

Here is a look at what I created using the new stamp, along with the new stencil:

I used some Distress Oxide inks and created a colorful background onto my card front. I cut a piece of white cardstock using the Card Mat Die from Jaded Blossom and used the new Stars & Swirls stencil to create some a fun pattern. I stamped my greeting and then adhered it to my card base. I used my Distress Oxide inks again to make the same colorful background onto an oval and popped it up onto my card. Using my Copic markers, I colored up that sweet image, Madison - Be All Kinds Of Happy, popped her up onto my oval and added some little twine bows to her hair. I finished off my card with some pink Nuvo drops.
