I think the little mice in the Strawberry Field Mice Stamp Set are so adorable and I wanted to make a card that had a "country/farmhouse" vibe to go along with one of the images. I started by creating a "quilt" background. To do this, I used the Triangle Card Mat Die from Jaded Blossom and a few patterned papers from the Strawberry Fields 6x6 Paper Pad. I did a little inlay die cutting and tied some twine around before popping up my panel with some foam tape onto a red card base. I stamped that sweet little mouse onto a piece of white cardstock and colored her with my Copic markers. I used a circle die to cut her out and curved my greeting to match the circle the best I could. I adhered my image onto a red scallop circle and paper pieced her little dress with some of the scrap patterned paper before popping it up onto my card with more foam tape. I completed my card with some little green enamel dots to frame the greeting.
- Cardstock: Red (Recollections), White (Hammermill)
- Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
- Dies: Nesting Circles (WRMK), Scallop Circle Dies & Triangle Card Mat (Jaded Blossom)
- Misc.: Foam Tape, Twine, White Gel Pen, Green Enamel Dots
