Wishing You A Harmonious Day!

For my Teacher Gifts Blog Hop post, click HERE

Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all having a fabulous Wednesday!

Today I get to share with you a super cute project that
I made for my beautiful daughter using those awesome

My daughter is fixing to come home from college for the summer
so I decided to send her a little CD tin with a blank CD in it
so that she can make a little playlist for the trip home.

I decorated the outside of the tin with a little belly band that just slides off for
her to open the case. I cut my MP3 player out of the Rock Princess
cricut cartridge at 4" and popped it up off of the belly band with some foam adhesive.

Here is a picture of the case opened:

I decorated the inside and put that awesome sentiment front and center
so she sees it right away when she opens the case.
My sentiment came from the "Tag You're It--Set One"
stamp set from Joy's Life.

How perfect is that for all your "music related" projects, whether
it's a CD tin like this or a Itunes gift card.

You can purchase the stamp set as well as the DVD/CD case on the Joy's Life Product page HERE

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation! I really appreciate
your time and comments.

Teacher Gift's Blog Hop!

Happy Saturday!
I'm so glad you here!
Are you guys ready to hop and get some great
inspiration for those end of the year teacher gifts?

You should have arrived here from the very talented Sarabeth of Chronicles of Sarita.
If you just happened to stumble across the hop today on my blog and would like to start at the beginning, just hop on over and see Joy at Joy's Life.

For my project, I decided to use the Spring Cottage Cricut Cartridge and make a basket filled with strawberries. Each strawberry is filled with some Hersey Hugs. I love summertime and being able to get fresh strawberries. I will take some strawberries over apples any day! haha!

Here is a view from the top:

Cute huh?
For my sentiment, I used one of the new stamp sets from Joy's Life titled, Sweet Popsicle Puns.

For my project, I used the Spring Cottage Cricut Cartridge and cut my basket out at 8.5". I inked my basket before I assembled it. After my basket was assembled, I used my Doily Lace border punch to create a little decorative border around the top of the basket with some white card stock and then attached that to the basket using some atg adhesive. I then cut out 6 strawberries, all cut out at 3.25". I filled each strawberry with some Hersey Hugs candies and then tied my leaf onto the strawberry using some Trendy Twine. I then added some bows to the sides of the handles. I stamped my sentiment onto some white card stock in the shape of a rectangle and then used my corner punch to give it the rounded edges. The sentiment then got popped onto the front of the basket with some foam adhesive. Voila!

What's a blog hop without a little candy?

Hello Sweetie Card with Sketches:Creatively Yours

Hello and Happy Friday!

Today I get to show you a card that I made using the awesome sketches

If you haven't heard of Sketches:Creatively Yours before, they are a sketch
challenge blog. They offer Layout sketches, Tag/Bookmark sketches, and once a month
they feature a card sketch :)

Here is the card sketch for the month of April

Pretty cool sketch huh?

Here is the card that I created based on the sketch:

I had so much fun making this card. For some reason, as soon as I saw the sketch, my mind went straight to cherries. I don't know why but I'm happy that it did cause I love the way that my card turned out.
I cut my cherry out from the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut cartridge at 2".

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation! I really appreciate it! Don't forget to swing by the Sketches:Creatively Yours blog to see all of the lovely creations made by the design team as well as entering the challenge by linking up your project. Hugs and Kisses with Joy's Life Stamps

Hi Everyone!
Happy Wednesday!
Today I get to share with you a super cute project that
I made for my hubby using Joy's Life stamps.

This week the Joy's Life DT was asked to make a project
using these sweet little tubes. There are so many possibilities for these.
I decided to make a little tube of hugs and kisses to hang on hubby's
closet door handle as a surprise for him when he wakes up and gets ready for work.

Here is a picture of the tube outside of the holder:

I tried to get a picture of it hanging from the door knob, but my lighting in my home isn't very good for picture taking and the pictures came out too dark.

I just made a little box and then decorated it with some strips of card stock and attached some ribbon to the sides to make the "hanger".  For my tube, I filled it with some Hersey Hugs and punched out a little heart for the top of the lid and tied a bow around the tube itself. It was super easy to make.

For my sentiment, I used a stamp from the Wintery Puns set. After stamping my sentiment, I used my Labels Four spellbinders dies to die cut it out and then attached it to the front of my box with some foam adhesive.

Very simple to make and hubby loved it! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation! I really appreciate it :)
Don't forget to stop by the Joy's Life DT blog to check out daily inspiration from the DT.

Don't forget to come back here this Saturday, April 21, for the Teacher's Gifts Blog Hop! Hope to see you there!

Thinking Of You!

Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend :)

Today I would like to share with you a card that I made for the sketch challenge over at

As soon as I saw the sketch I feel in love with the clean and simple lines of it.
Here is the card that I created:

I know, I know, your thinking a purple mailbox? Really? haha! Purple is my favorite color and the other day hubby and I were talking about repainting the trim on our house and he jokingly said that if I had my way, we would paint the house purple. Although I would love that, I don't think the neighbors would ;) Anyway, when I started coloring, I thought about that conversation and colored the mailbox purple.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and take a look at my latest creation.
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day :)

We Are The Wild Life Frame

Hi Everyone!

Today I get to show you another project made using
those fabulous Joy's Life Stamps!

This week, the design team was asked to make a animal themed project.
I decided to make a picture frame with some zebra print flowers on it.

I bought one of those unpainted dollar frames from Michaels for my project.
My daughter and her bestie both love zebra print so I wanted to make some
flowers out of zebra print patterned paper.
I cut my flowers out of the accent essentials cricut cartridge.
To make them pop, I painted the frame a hot pink color.
My sentiment came from the Wild Life Puns stamp set from Joy's Life and I think it describes them perfectly!
I stamped my sentiment directly onto the frame using black staz on ink.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it.
Don't forget to stop by the Joy's Life DT page for more animal themed inspiration this week.
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Gable Box featuring Joy's Life Stamps

Hi Everyone!

Today I get to share with you another super cute project featuring the wonderful

This week the design team was challenged to make something Easter and/or Spring related.
I decided to make a little gable box filled with some jelly beans.

I cut my gable box out of the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 cricut cartridge at 5.5"
I then did some stitching around my box before I assembled it and added that cute little sentiment from the All Around Sentiments set to the front. I put the jelly beans into a little organza bag. I took them out of the box for the purpose of the picture.

Here is a close up of the detail on my sentiment:

I stamped my sentiment and then punched it out with a circle punch and then layered it with some scallop circle. I then added some pearls around the edge. I love the softness that the pale purple card stock and the pearls add to my project. It definitely looks like spring to me :)
