Hello

Hey everyone and happy Tuesday!!
It's time for a new challenge over at

This week, challenge #258 is....
How Does Your Garden Grow?
(anything that can be found in the garden)

Here is the project that I created based on the theme:

This was such an easy card to put together! I simply used a die from MFT to create my white card frame as well as the green inserts. I bought this die a couple of months ago and never used it until this card! For my flowers, I used a die from MCT that I have had for a couple of years now. I've used the flower die quite a few times but have neglected it for awhile. I was so happy to blow off the dust and use these dies! After I had everything adhered to my card base, I added a bit of glossy accents to the flower centers. I also added a few drops of glossy accents to the patterned paper to give the illusion of water droplets on the card. Almost like the flowers were freshly picked from the garden. I added the greeting and called the card good to go :)

Be sure to head over to the Shopping Our Stash Challenge Blog to see what my design team sisters created. I hope you will decide to make a project and join us, I would love to see what you create!

King of the Grill

Happy Friday you guys!

Today I am back with another project that showcases some awesome stamps from

This year for Father's Day, we gave my husband a new grill and smoker combo. This is the tag that I made to go onto the grill. It also served as the card, the kids wrote messages to him on the back of the tag. It was really simple to put together. I simply stamped my piggy from the BBQ set onto some copic friendly cardstock and started coloring him in. I paper pieced his apron and wrote DAD onto the pocket. For the grill, I colored it and fussy cut it out so that I could pop it up with some foam adhesive, I added some wink of stella to the flames for a bit of shimmer. I finished it off with some heat embossing for the greeting and some coordinating ribbons.

It's time for a new challenge over at

This week, challenge #257 is....
Always A Bridesmaid
(Use a dress form/dress)

Here is the project that I created based on the theme:

I really shopped my stash for this card lol! I pulled out my Cricut Explore and cut out the dress form from the Nifty Fifties cartridge. I can't even remember the last time I used that cartridge or machine! I was also able to use some lace, punches and patterned paper that I have neglected for awhile. Yay! I love when I actually use my supplies, makes me feel good lol!

Have A Dreamy Day

Happy Friday!

Today I am back with another project that showcases some awesome stamps and dies from

To create my card, I used the Stitched Rounded Rectangles to cut out my largest card layer and then again for my image layer. After I had my white image layer cut out, I began creating my scene using the Magical Unicorns stamp set. I colored it in using my copics and added some wink of stella for shimmer. I also added a bit of glossy accents to her horn. I finished off my card with a bow and a few sequins for a bit more sparkle. I love those sweet little unicorns in the Magical Unicorns stamp set! They are each so adorable!

Shopping Our Stash #256: Let me take a selfie

Hey everyone and happy Tuesday!!
Today starts a new challenge over at

This week, challenge #256 is....
"Let Me Take A Selfie"
Create a Polaroid scene

Here is the card that I created based on the theme:

I stamped this little monster onto a square piece of cardstock and my daughter colored him in using Copics. I used a die for my frame and stamped my greeting onto it. I thought it would be cute to try and make it look like the picture was hanging on a bulletin board so I used some cork cardstock and then a little tack die cut. I think it turned out so cute and think this would make a great card to send to someone out of the blue.

Hello Sunshine!

Happy Friday!

BlogButton

Today I am back with another project that showcases some awesome stamps and dies from

If you know me then you know that I love saying Hello Sunshine and pretty much say it whenever I can, so of course I needed to make a card that said it lol! I created a sun burst card by cutting some strips of patterned paper, lining them up and then trimming up the overhang. I used some white thread and did a bit of hand stitching to the rays. I die cut a circle & heat embossed "sunshine" from the Hello Friend stamp set with some white embossing powder. I adhered it on top of my rays so that it created a sun. I then die cut the "Hello" from the Hello Dies and adhered that above the word sunshine. I finished off my card with a few random sequins for a bit of sparkle. I love how it turned out!!

Hey everyone and happy Tuesday!!
It's time for a new challenge over at

This week, challenge #255 is....
Tea For Two
(A tea or coffee themed project)

Here is the project that I created based on the theme:

My daughter loves drinking hot tea so I knew I wanted to make her a fun little surprise. I got some tea bags and then began making this little holder based on my tea bags dimensions. I decorated it with some pattern papers from My Mind's Eye, dies from My Favorite Things and stamps from Pink & Main. I added some string to tie my booklet closed and added a few enamel dots to finish it off.

Here is a look at it opened up:

Wedding Congratulations Card

Happy Friday!

BlogButton

Today I am back with another project that showcases some awesome stamps and dies from

June is a pretty busy time for weddings. I had a big June wedding myself. My hubby and I will be celebrating our wedding anniversary in just a couple of weeks. I couldn't wait to make a card with this new stamp set titled Ever After. Isn't it adorable?? So many cute images in this set. I decided to try and stick with white for the majority of my card. I stamped my image onto my card base and colored it in with my Copics. I adhered some vellum onto a piece of white cardstock and die cut a heart out of the center. I popped it up with some foam tape to create a window for my image. I added some pearls and heat embossed the greeting with some silver embossing powder.
