Mermaid Kisses

Hi everyone!
Today I am up on the Jaded Blossom blog sharing a fun little project, perfect for a summertime treat.

I used the Crate Die and cut my crate from some wood grain patterned paper. I colored that sweet mermaid from the Mermaid Kisses with my Copic markers and fussy cut her out. I popped her up onto the front of my crate with some foam tape and added my greeting. I filled my crate with some saltwater taffy, uh....I mean Mermaid Kisses ;)

I love this little crate that was released this month, and can't get enough of it!

I will also be entering my project into the challenge over at

Stay Cool

Hey crafty friends!
I hope your Monday is off to a wonderful start!
Today I have a sweet card to share with you that I made using that adorable Chloe - Stay Cool stamp set from Stamp AnnieThing.

I started with an A2 white card base and covered it with some striped patterned paper from Echo Park. I added a fun little strip of paper along the bottom that has some popsicles, perfect for this stamp right? I embossed a piece of white cardstock & added it to my card. I colored Chloe - Stay Cool with my Copic markers and popped her up onto my card with some foam tape. I added my greeting, a bow and some enamel dots and my card was done! I think it turned out so cute and perfect to send to a friend during those hot summer months that are approaching!

Soda-lighted that you're my kid!!

Hey crafty friends & happy Tuesday!!
Today I have a sweet project to share with you that uses some of those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps and dies!

My son loves Dr. Pepper so when I found this candy, I thought it would be the perfect time to pull out the Soda-lightful (revamped) stamp set and make him a little "just because" treat. I used the largest rectangle in the Rectangle Dies 2 set to cut out my checkerboard paper and then folded it in half to create my topper base. I used the Card Layer Dies 1 to cut out that fun banner shape from some white cardstock and stamped my image/greeting from the Soda-lightful (revamped) stamp set. I colored in the soda and cap with my Copic markers and added a strip of patterned paper along the top. I adhered it to my topper, wrapped some thread around and finished it off with some wood veener stars. Easy Peasy and I think he is going to really enjoy it. I mean, who doesn't love getting little goodies just cause right?

I thought this little Crate Die would be the perfect way to dress up a little gift of coffee. I cut the crate from some wood grain paper and after assembling it, I added a little coffee cup from the Coffee Dies to the front & a the greeting from the Coffee Is Life stamp set. I used a Gusset bag and put in some basket shred, a K-Cup and some Coffee Flavored Chocolate Candy inside. To hold the bag closed, I used the Scallop Slider & Topper Die and decorated it with a heart banner from the Wedding Banner Dies and some crochet thread.

I think it turned out so cute and so perfect for the coffee lover in my life ❤

Jaded Blossom's May Release: Morning of the hop

Hi crafty friends!!
Happy Friday!!
Today is day 5 of the Jaded Blossom May Release. Yay!!
Thanks so much for stopping by all week!!
Here is a quick recap of the projects I made this week......

....and that brings up to today!!

Today we are showcasing She Said Yes and Love and Laughter.
Love and Laughter is the free with purchase stamp set for this release. You can read more about the Freebie stamp over at the Jaded Blossom Blog.

I decided to make a shaker card using the Love and Laughter stamp set.

I made a square card from some white cardstock and covered it with some pretty patterned papers. I wrapped some light pink crochet thread around my card and tied a little bow. I put that all aside and started building the shaker element. I used the Heart Dies 1 and Heart Dies 2 to create the back of my shaker as well as the frame around the acetate window. I stamped and heat embossed my greeting from the Love and Laughter stamp set onto some heat resistant acetate using some platinum embossing powder. I filled my shaker with some iridescent sequins and silver heart confetti. After my shaker heart was built, I added it to the card. I cut out another heart and overlapped it a bit to bring a little balance. I finished off the card with some pearls in the top corners.

Here is a look at the sets being showcased today:

Jaded Blossom's May Release: Day 4!

Hey crafty friends!!
Today is Day 4 of the Jaded Blossom May Release and it is a couple of really fun stamps that have so many possibilities!! They are called Wood Slices 1 and Wood Slices 2.

Here is a look at the project I created with both of these fun stamp sets.

I decided to make a little goody bag to give to my hubby. I used the Goody Bag Die and created my bag with some Kraft cardstock. I layered it with some fun patterned paper from Doodlebug and added a white scallop at the bottom from the Border Dies. I stamped the wood grain from the Wood Slices 1 all over some Kraft cardstock to create a wood background and cut it out with the Heart Dies 1 and then layered it with a blue heart that I cut out with the Heart Dies 2. I heat embossed the greeting with some white embossing powder. The heart is held onto the bag with a mini clothespin so that I can write a note to him on the back and it will be easy for him to remove it to read it. So cute!

Here is a look at the stamps being showcased today:

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Today we are giving you a look at Fancy Wedding and the Crate Die.
Here is a look at what I created to share with you:

How adorable is this little crate???

I cut the crate from some kraft cardstock and assembled it, which was super easy by the way. I cut out a scallop circle from some polka dotted vellum by using the Scallop Circle Dies and attached it the the front of the crate. I stamped the sentiment from the Fancy Wedding stamp set onto some white cardstock, angled one end, doodled along the edges and attached it to the vellum. I added a heart from the Heart Dies 1 popped up with some foam tape. I finished it off with a couple of enamel hearts.

I added some candy into a gusset bag and tied it off with a tulle bow.
I'm sure you will be seeing me use this crate often, I just can't get over the cuteness!! lol!

Stamp Anniething's Theme Week Challenge #29

If you are looking for my Jaded Blossom release post for today, please scroll down one post.
Hi crafty friends and happy Monday!
Today kicks off the start of a new Theme Week Challenge for Stamp Annie Thing
This challenge is all about making a shaker!!

Here is a look at what I created to share with you today:

I found this fun patterned paper with arrows and knew it would be perfect to pair up with that hip little Megan stamp. I cut out my patterned paper using the Card Mat die from Jaded blossom and adhered it to a black card base. I colored Megan with my Copic markers and used a oval die to cut her out. I added her to the front of my card with some foam tape and added my sentiment, letting it hang off of the card just a bit. I thought it would be fun to finish off the card with a little wood veneer arrow and some little scraps hanging from it.

Here's how to play in the challenge:
--Create a new Shaker project
--Share your creation at our Facebook group HERE by June 8, 2018
--Only one entry
--A stamp of your choice will be awarded to one lucky winner, if we have 5 or more entries.

Today we are showing you Wedding Banner Dies & Just Married.

I decided to make a card to share with you today.

I created my card base using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 from some white cardstock. I colored up that sweet little car from the Just Married stamp set with my Copic markers and cut it out with the Rectangle Dies 2. I layered it on top of some silver foil cardstock and striped vellum and added it to my card base. I added that sweet little wedding bell banner by using the Wedding Banner Dies and added some little bows at each end with some silver thread. So simple to create but so elegant!!
